Quality of a budget hotel. Staff is OK with little english knowledge.
Very basic rooms. Hotel very close to railway station therefor quiet loud.

Staff were helpfull and nice.
The room was very hot and the beds were super unconfortable. The train station makes it easy reaching the center but doesn't let sleep with an open window. Also it is very far away from the center.
Don't let the pictures fool you. This is a cheap backpacker type of hostel and it is very overpriced.

The room was in immaculate condition. The beds were extremely comfortable and we got a very warm welcome when we checked in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Bilbao. It was also great value for money

I had stayed here overnight before, so knew convenient for ferry, street parking and on bus route to centre. This time I booked a room with an ensuite, glad I did. Had to get my QR code printed for the ferry, staff were most helpful in doing this for me, I was most grateful. Stayed in Zorrotza the barrio of Bilbao, great local walk by river, excellent nearby restaurant with Menu del Dia.
Difficult journey through surrounding streets to property, many oneway, even confused my sat nav! Need to be careful with speed limits and cameras - "Basque tourist tax"!

The room was clean and nice and also the staff.
You could hear absolutely everything from the next door, also, during the whole night there was a lot of noise coming from gangs from the street, neighbours talking loud, ambulances passing (the hostel is close to an ambulance point), trains passing... difficult to sleep in such conditions

Free parking on street, charming decor, good room, comfortable bed and shower, quiet

NOT near San Inazio unless you can fly over the river...
more a hotel than a pension, so very good quality for the price
very helpful staff, which let us in even if we arrived late (with previous earlier communication)
free parking nearby
advertised as near San Inazio, however unless you have car, it is very far away (other side of the river!)
4.2 / 5.0
Great value for money, easy access to town, clean and with enough room if you are not staying that long and have no problems sleeping in noisy places.
Very loud. Walls were thin, doors were hard to close so there was banging of doors everywhere. There is no a/c and you had to open the windows to let air in. We were on the first floor and the window was large enough with no screen or bars for someone to climb into easily. (No one did, thankfully). Only 2 shared bathrooms per floor so i had to wait a while for my turn to use it. Elevator did not work.
