Nice staff, food and drink. Redecorated bedrooms.
Not pleasant to see tables in dining areas still covered with used plates and cutlery many minutes after diners left.
Bins overflowing in the bar area.
Papers littered around reception and bar areas.
Cobwebs in outside eating area.
Gardens looking untidy.

Beautiful spot - scenery
We had a great time but shorted staffed it seemed. Always looking for someone or others looking for them.

It was a great view
It was cozy for my family of 7. We loved it.

Excellent location on WHW. Old, tired hotel. On the plus side the beds we’re comfortable.
3.4
Great location, straight off the West Highland Way!
Property had thin walls so could here lots of movement but was an old building so expected, just take ear plugs. We were unfortunately not given any towels think this was a mistake in the set up of the room. Breakfast, compared to other places we stayed was expensive for what we got but was still tasty and filled us up for much of the day.

The room was cosy and love the bathroom shower.
There were no sockets beside the beds for plugging in mobile phones . Dont waste your money on breakfast..it was it worth it £12.50 each and quantity was very meager with a spam in place of sausage!

Location perfect for us
No WiFi in the room

the bedroom was comfortable and seemed to be recently refurbished. nice food
the bathroom needed some improvement, would benefit from a new larger shower screen and new toilet seat but apart from that was ok
3.4
great location looking out over the Loch
right on the west highland way
felt very run down. facilities we’re very poor. no shampoo/shower gel in the room , no one on reception, no one at all in the morning. presumably the hotel is about to close for the season but they were open and took our money. this hotel could be made so much nicer with just a bit of effort.
3.4
close to Whw walk
poor drying facilities in room
in need of some modernisation
more soft seats in bar ?

Right on the WHW route and has a good drying room. Plenty of hot water for bath and shower. Has a bar area with good food, sky TV and pool table.
Some parts of the hotel ( corridors and rooms ) desperately require a freshen up. Looks like they haven't had a paint brush out for years. Needs fresh carpets too.

The view over the loch is amazing the room we had was a good size and very clean the staff were very friendly and helpful even leaving some biscuits out at breakfast time for our dog. The bothy bar food was good and service was quick all in all a great stay in a great location definitely would stay there again 😁

the hotel is very tired looking and needs some TLC. the tv in the room had an awful reception we gave up in the end. we had a meal in the restaurant, the food wasn’t very good.

property is a bit dated but very clean and lovely staff

very dog friendly, very friendly staff, good breakfast and a lovely quiet location walkable into town.
slightly more gluten free options at breakfast would have been perfect

Staff were lovely. Room spacious and clean. Had a bath and shower (I prefer baths). Food good. Ample parking. At breakfast your room number was on the table so you knew exactly where to sit.
Nowhere is ever perfect but that is often just personal choice. Nothing really to complain about.
3.4

Property in ideal location for travel to Fort William, Mallaig, Oban and a section of West Highland Way.
Very friendly and helpful hosts and members of staff.
Clean rooms.
Food excellent for both breakfast and Bothy bar menu.
Kinlochleven itself has good eating out facilities and a local Coop.
Nothing to report.

Location
Nothing like advertised, service at reception, felt like as guests of the hotel, couldn't even have breakfast with booking a time slot, dinner without booking a time slot, walkers came first and passers by.
