The flat is completely independent and you will enjoy complete freedom.
We will be always happy to welcome our guest and advise them on places to see, restaurants and give them any information they ask for.
A short walk from our flat there is a bike path along the “Riviera dei fiori” opened just a few years ago.
Its trail follows the route of the old 19th century rail-road and runs for 24 kms, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea touching small towns and villages such as Ospedaletti, Bussana, Arma, Riva and San Lorenzo. From the cycle path you can access bays and beaches, stop for a bathe or sunbathe, enjoy a meal at the several restaurants that are both on the track and on the beaches.
Ten metres from the house you enter the park of “Villa Ormond” with its secular and tropical trees; at 100 metres there is “Villa Nobel” and its park, where Alfred Nobel lived and died. Nearly there is “Villa Zirio”, residence of Prince Frederic William of Prussia.
At 150 metres, in the park of the Mediterranee there is the Olympic swimming-pool, where is possible to swim, sunbathe, have a good meal, access to the bike path and hire a bike.
Our neighbourhood is called San Martino and is a residential quarter with ice shops. Westwards there's Corso Garibaldi with shops and supermarkets; past Piazza Colombo, you are in Via Matteotti, with the Ariston Theatre (where the Italian Song Festival is held in February) its luxury boutiques, The Casinò, and the Russian Church.
From Via Matteotti you can access the Medioeval town centre, known as “La Pigna” where many cultural and musical events are kept in summer.
Near our house there is the marina with its yatchs and restaurants; towards the old port there is the disco “Victory Morgana” with beach, Piazza Bresca, the place of the city night life full of pubs and restaurants.
To reach our accomodation by plane, the nearest airport is Nice (France) or alternatively Genoa. From the airport you can reach Sanremo by train or renting a car. Our accomodation is at 7 minute walk from Sanremo railway station and has parking inside the property.
The nearby station allows you to reach Montecarlo and the French Riviera in a short time, while the Ligurian hinterland offers a large variety of villages thet are worth a visit (Dolceacqua Pigna, Apricale, Bussana , Taggia, Triora) with restaurants where you can enjoy dishes of the local cuisine.
In Bordighera you can visit Villa Regina Margherita, the winter residence of the last queen of Italy, now a museum and seat of Terruzzi Collection.
Near Ventimiglia you can visit the beautiful botanic park of “Villa Hambury” crossed by the ancient Roman road Aurelia.
In Sanremo the bathing season is from May to September and our Riviera enjoys a mild climate all year round.
Remember: In February the Italian Song Festival attracts many Italina and foreign artists.
In April “Sanremo in fiore” with many floreal floats.
In May “Le Gran Prix de Monaco” with the possibility to see le Gran Prix from the port in a boat, booking tickets in time (we can do it for you).
In October: Sanremo Rally and Montecarlo Open Tennis Championship.
Pets are always welcome.

Pfingsten in SanRemo

The Best....bellisimo
Been using VRBO for years including some long term stays in Italy. This is by far the most beautiful a;artmemt to date. Great views ! Great space...charming and so tastefully furnished. Couldn’t asked for a warmer welcome and attentiveness. If Sanremo is your destination or anywhere on the Italian or French Riviera, this should be your first choice.

Delightful stay
Our stay in San Remo was a real pleasure. The apartment is well sized for two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the grill for cooking the delicious local fish. The apartment is located perfectly for enjoying the town of San Remo and for taking day trips to Italian or French hill towns. We had a great time!

Einfach traumhaft
Super nette Gastgeber,

Perfekter Urlaub in Sanremo
DANKE.

Even better the 2nd time!
We enjoyed our stay so much last February ('16) that we returned again this year. We're beginning to feel like the Edwardians who overwintered every year in Sanremo - now there's a thought...

Fantastic Sanremo Apartment with stunning views
Family of 4 stayed here for a week. The apartment is a absolutely stunning and the best equipped we have stayed in. It has everything you need and the welcome pack of wine, water, bread, milk, butter, juice etc were much appreciated. We used the bikes nearly every day and the cycle trail is great. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to nearest supermarket and train station. We arrived in Genoa airport and took the train from there easily, it's around 2 hours but the scenery is great.
The apartment is on quite a steep hill with no pavement at parts so would not suit anyone with mobility issues if they do not have a car, but it kept us fit! There are plenty of fantastic restaurants, shops, cafes nearby.
Andrea, Lara and Lucia, the owners, were so friendly and welcoming. They gave us plenty of information on the area and were always prompt in replying during process of booking. Thanks again for letting us stay and we hope to come back again.

Outstanding
This property and its hosts are absolute treasures. Communications before and on arrival were excellent. Andrea is a great host, very generous with his time and information. He gave us plenty of good advice about what to see and where to dine.
The presentation of the property was immaculate and great for our needs as two couples. The furnishings and fit out were to a very high standard and the view from the top deck over the harbour, sea and mountains was even better than the website photos.
Our stay at Sanremo is one of the highlights of our extended holiday in Italy and France. We will return to this property and stay longer to enjoy some of the attractions in the surrounding villages. Thank you Andrea and Lara for your kind hospitality.

A perfect holiday!
This lovely and well-equipped apartment exceeded our expectations - comfy beds, swish modern bathrooms, very special roof terrace and simple parking arrangements (under the lemon tree "help yourself!"). Andrea and Lara were perfect hosts always ready to help whilst giving us our privacy.
Our two small dogs were made very welcome with food and water bowls ready for them in the kitchen and the lift made it easy to take them out (one of them is blind and stairs are tricky for him).
The apartment's location in Sanremo is excellent with so many facilities within walking distance - supermarket, bakery, vegetable market, lots of restaurants, glamorous clothes shops, the vets (for stamping the dogs' passports) even a pet shop from where we bought the very stylish Italian harnesses all the dogs in Sanremo were wearing! The gardens of the nearby Villa Ormond was perfect for walking them whilst we enjoyed the exotic plantings.
The cycle/pedestrian path hugging the coast was one of the main reasons for choosing Sanremo and the apartment was very nearby and so, most days, I walked the dogs whilst my husband used one of the bicycles which were in the garage at the apartment and we met up for coffee at Bussano.
We enjoyed venturing into the mountains behind Sanremo (terrifying narrow roads with continuous hairpin bends) but we were also more than happy to just potter around Sanremo buying focaccia and olives to have for lunch on the roof terrace looking across at the marina with all the flashy yachts.
February was a perfect time for us to visit as we escaped the grey grizzle of England and got a shot of early spring sunshine and warmth.
The best view? The one each morning opening the Velux window blind in the bathroom to be greeted by the sight of a huge palm tree set against a sparkling blue sky. Well, OK, it did rain for a couple of days but it didn't seem as 'wet' as the rain back home.
We are already making plans to return this winter...
