Le lieu, la décoration soignée, l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires et le super petit déjeuner.

Lovely accommodation about 20 min walk from the village of Saint-Emilion. Eduard & David were very welcoming allowing us to check in early. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the whole place is decorated beautifully. Breakfast is served in the garden (if weather permits) and is presented on lovely china with antique cutlery. We arrived by train (10 min walk) which meant we had to walk into the village. Whilst we enjoyed this aspect of the location as you get to see the beautiful surrounds, you will need to be prepared to get your steps up, much of which is on roads and uneven ground. It is probably best suited if you have a car. All in all we loved our stay at Clos 1906 and in Saint-Emilion.
Nothing about the Accommodation. The only minor concern is If you have been in the village for dinner and enjoyed the area's primary industry, it is a bit of a hassle having to walk back or get a cab at exorbitant prices.

Beautiful hotel, with a really luxurious and comfortable feel. The host Eduard was lovely and made our stay very special. The breakfast in the courtyard was a treat in the morning, and the pool in the garden was perfect. It is just outside the town which we liked, as got to enjoy the views of the vineyards on our walk into dinner. Would highly recommend!

Lovely property, gracious hosts, just outside St. Emilion. We had a beautiful room, with wonderful amenities. The clos has nice outdoor seating areas, perfect for enjoying a St. Emilion wine! The breakfast was served outside and was more than expected. Highly recommend for a stay in this area!

Everything about our stay was amazing. From the beautiful and delicious breakfast outside to the spectacular large and clean room and staff, we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer.
N/A. Everything was amazing.

absolutely everything was great. The best part would be how personable the experience was, we were treated so well and they were very helpful.

I was about to start my response with, "the one thing that was exceptional was...", but we can honestly say there was nothing about our stay at Close 1906 that wasn't exceptional. We will definitely return the next time we are in Saint Emilion and 100% recommend it to all.
Nothing--everything was outstanding!
Perhaps maybe offer an egg at breakfast, but there was plenty of other breakfast food.

Everything but the location...Spacious room, helpful host, near several wineyards, decent breakfast...
Location...Did not have a car...too far from st Emilion...a very long and uphill mile+
Taxi - requested a taxi thru Clos to go to Bordeaux and were provided with a metered ride (should have been a fixed rate) that was exhorbitant (as I found out later (could have made the trip at half the price.

The manor home has been lovingly restored. The appointments are of fine quality and design. The atmosphere is very welcoming; as if you were in your own home. I hope to return!
Everything was perfect. The decor; the comfort; the views; the food; and especially the kindness of the hosts!

Gorgeous house. Spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Great area with deck chairs and outdoor sofas to laze about by the pool. The hotel also provided mosquito repellent as there were quite a number of mozzies around. Thoughtful touch! Cosy bathrobes, slippers and even a beach bag to bring our stuff down to the pool. Eduard was very friendly and helpful, and sent us a long list of recommendations right after we booked, before we even landed in France! The house is about a 15-20 min walk to Saint Emilion. We walked to the village for dinner every night so no one had to be the designated driver.

We loved everything about this property! We spent three nights in the two bedroom apartment. It came fully equipped with everything anyone could want or need. Apartment was spotless, so clean that you could eat off the floors. Eduard and David were the best hosts, welcoming, friendly and beyond helpful. Eduard offered dining suggestions as well as a great wine tour. Saint Emilion was every bit a fairytale village. We didn’t want to leave but will for sure be back!

Attention to detail was spot on. Eduard kindly booked us a dinner reservation and easy walk into town. Would highly recommend staying here.
