About this cottage rental
WATERSHED Robertson is a brand new chic shed conversion farmstay, located on a family property on the edge of Robertson village.
This was a machinery shed that has been completely modernised and fully insulated and fitted with double glazed windows. Total of 90sqm inside.
Downstairs consists of a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for a weekend or a week long stay. Pantry is well stocked including pasta and sauces to always be sure you'll eat, no matter what time your arrival.
There is a dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, full size fridge freezer.
The breakfast bar offers an informal dining option.
The shed is heated by slow combustion wood fire and there is an endless supply of wood and kindling to keep you going throughout your stay. Get comfy by the fire.
We have a smart TV so you can watch the free to air channels (because of trees we sometimes have difficulty getting C7) plus allowing you to watch your netflix account. There is a small bose blue tooth speaker as well as a dvd player.
Yes there is free WiFi.
Also downstairs is the feather filled sofa bed to sleep 2 adults.
The dining table sits by the window allowing views outside. There are 4 dining chairs but extra dining chairs can easily be pulled in from the outside table.
The bathroom is downstairs and has a large semi open shower. We supply turkish towels. Under the sink you will find basic toiletries in case you get caught out having forgotten something. The washing machine is in the bathroom and the clothes dryer is outside in the wood shed. There are also airing racks in the outside storage area.
Under the stairs we have our 'Harry Potter' cupboard where you will find an iron and mini ironing board and tool kit.
Upstairs to the sleeping zone, we have a kingsize bed and 2 singles - all with electric blankets and feather donnas. All beds upstairs will be made up with fresh linen. We can squeeze in an extra single bed up there on request.
The sleeping loft has an open balcony to the downstairs. There is a safety rail but if you have a climbing child you will need to be very careful.
There are extra blankets should you need them.
There are a couple of alpacas and sheep on the property. As well as 2 friendly dogs who will want to visit and say hello - and plenty of free ranging chickens (who will likely also visit you) - guaranteeing you the freshest eggs for breakfast. And occasionally you might find a horse staying with us too.
The main house is 80+ metres away from your accomodation, ensuring you total privacy for the duration of your stay. The main house was one of the original homes in Robertson, built in 1888, and was then part of a 300 acre dairy farm. Today the farmhouse stands on 5 acres and is undergoing a reno May/Jun/July 2022. Nothing major but midweek bookings may hear some noise
Outside there is a table with 8 chairs, bbq and fire pit (assuming no fire ban) for those relaxing evenings star gazing.
We are a 2 minute drive into Robertson and ideally located for Burrawang (5 min), Carrington Falls (12 mins), Bowral (20 mins), Moss Vale (15 mins). Also Kiama is within 30 mins driving time.
Bring your beach towels for water dips at Carrington or beach days at Kiama.
Robertson is a beautiful part of the world, with green rolling hills. We have high rainfall and can grow just about anything here!
The village has everything you need, great cafes, pub, pizza restaurant, fuel, bakery, general store. We also have 'The Big Potato'. The movie 'Babe' was filmed in Robertson and surrounding areas.
We have a 2 night minimum booking but will consider 1 night bookings during the week or at weekends when the abut an existing booking. Price will be $450 plus Stayz fees for 1 night. Please message to discuss. We request 3 nights for public holiday/long weekend bookings and 4 nights at Easter.

The Watershed was a beautiful play to stay! It was comfortable, cosy and clean. Zoe was a great host. The kids and our dog loved the outdoor areas, in particular the flying fox and trampoline. There are so many places to visit in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Zoe’s watershed . The shed had been converted into an awesome apartment - the kitchen is perfect and the whole look and feel of the apartment is a pleasure to stay in . It is fully fenced too so was great to have our dogs stay too . Zoe was quick to respond to messages and we would highly recommend as a place to stay . Zoe has great taste in decor and it was very cleverly designed and presented .

This was our second stay at the Watershed and once again it didn't disappoint in anything. It was clean, comfortable to stay in, great comfy beds and so many little thought of inclusions that just made our stay a little easier. The bread, eggs, milk and port all come in handy at various times in the stay.

My Wife & I recently had a 3 night stay at Watershed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our lovely accommodation, living up to it's description and past reviews. Really liked how you were on a property and not staying in the centre of town. Great communication with Zoe the host. Being pet friendly our 6 month old puppy also loved her stay and playing with Chester, the hosts dog. No hesitation in recommending for anyone who wants a great stay in the Southern Highlands.

The property is fantastic - cozy, well-decorated and very comfortable for a relaxing stay. The hospitality of our hosts was second to none, and we loved every minute of unwinding in the Southern Highlands, even when it rained. We loved meeting the alpacas and sheep, and Chester visited us daily, making us feel right at home. Spectacular stay!

Such a beautiful place to relax!
We loved our 5 night stay & could easily have stayed longer in the very cool & funky Watershed.
With its own private garden, it’s set within the beautiful grounds of the main house, comfortably far enough away to enjoy a peaceful serenity.
The Watershed is seriously stylish and comfortable, perfect for us to relax in. Zoe & John are lovely & generous hosts, leaving fresh eggs and pantry goods for us to enjoy.
There is an impressive supply of quality kitchen utensils, pots & pans - everything you could need has been thoughtfully provided.
We loved using the firepit & disappearing into the incredible star-filled sky at night.
Robertson shops are an easy few minutes drive away and there’s a lovely, picturesque drive to coastal beaches.
We are keen to book again!
Thank you for a fabulous break Zoe & John!

Escape the City
A great escape from the hustle & bustle of city life. A place where u can just kick back, put up your feet & just watch the world pass you by. Zoe is a fabulous host with a magic place. The only negative thing I can say about this place was leaving!!!!

Warm and somewhat quirky abode
It is a converted barn that has been nicely done. Regarding beds they are as they are portrayed on the website on a mezzanine floor above the kitchen area. It is a sloping g roof so if you are in the king sized bed you are fine but the other two beds there is very much a headroom issue - fine for kids under 10 but for everyone else you have to remember to duck ones head. Kitchen had all the implements required and we cooked two meals during our stay including one meal using the bbq. Everything worked well and the pot belly fire gave off plenty of heat. And as stated in the information from the owner their two dogs were very friendly visitors and very well behaved. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Idyllic Stay
This place is so gorgeous. Rustic yet comfy, country but not remote. We had the most lovely stay despite the weather. So many details that showed the owner goes above and beyond. The great selection of items in the pantry and fridge, stylish warm jumpers, warm jackets, comfy sofas, and the room under the stairs will really keep your little one happy. We will be back if it's not completely booked. Our daughter wanted to return as soon as we arrived. Chester and Ziggy were a big hit with Audrey and Sootz. Thank you.

Loved our stay at the Watershed! The accommodation was extremely well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful touches throughout, making you feel right at home.
Our boys loved Chester and Ziggy...but not as much as the zip line and trampoline which proved to be a highlight.

Delightful
Staying in and relaxing worked because the Watershed had lovely places to sit and beautiful outlooks. Going shopping and Bush walking also worked as it's close to so many things as well.

Cosy, country retreat.
We enjoyed a relaxed few days at the Watershed where we had everything we needed for a self-contained getaway. From fresh hen eggs, to milk and an array of condiments, stoked fires and comfy chairs to curl up in, we felt at home. Our two dogs were most welcome and loved roaming around the property, but the added bonus of an enclosed gate around the Watershed kept the dogs safe and contained if needed. There are games and plenty of reading for rainy days, and lots of information on places to visit and explore.
The Watershed was the perfect choice for our anniversay and city break. Thanks for your hospitality, Zoe.

A pet friendly, short get away from Sydney.
The watershed is a stand alone building on the same property of the owners but situated far enough, blocked by trees for your own privacy. There was a lot of thought put into the property which made our stay perfect for the 2 of us and our dogs. When we stayed, they had just finished an enclosed fence which we appreciated as our pets were with us and we could let them go roaming off at night without a worry. Thank you for having us!

Highly recommended, looking forward to a repeat visit in the foreseeable future.

Perfect! The Watershed is the most welcoming, well equipped and beautiful property we’ve stayed at!
We are a family of four with two teenagers and a cocker spaniel, all of whom loved staying at the Watershed. From the beautifully appointed accommodation to the funny alpacas, the playful groodles, cosy fires, soft robes, fresh eggs and bacon, The Watershed really does have it all. Perfect location to explore the Southern Highlands, or just hang out for some quality family time.
