2 night stay in Letojanni near Taormina

We stayed in Letojanni for 2 nights (4 adults). The apartment has one bedroom with king size bed and the other two beds are in the living room/kitchen. It was very clean and it is equipped with everything one might need for a longer stay. It is located in a second floor (no elevator). It has a beautiful balcony and it is facing a street which can be an issue for someone who is a light sleeper (if you open the windows and balcony doors) but there is an air condition so no bigger issue here. There are many restaurants near by and a couple of markets with food, veggies and bread. The parking is on the street (blue lines are payable, white lines are free) and we had no trouble in finding it because it was not high season yet. The apartment is about 5 km away from Taormina (we went to Taormina with car, parked it in Lumbi parking garage form where there is a free bus shuttle to Taormina historic center, every 15 minutes).

Standard apartments located in the center of a small but cozy town. Close to a nice sandy beach, even in winter. Although the accommodation did not include breakfast we had delicious coffee and toast prepared for the morning.

Lovely apartment near the beach.

Really helpful owner with lots of great tour information. Easy check in even though we were running late. Steps from the beach and local supermarket. Quiet street, nice balcony, everything provided.

Bed a little hard for us - personal taste. Nothing really open in the town in winter - plan to eat in Taormina.

Good

Very nice balcony/terrasse. Good possibilities to cook. As my wife was beaten by jellyfish , hostess helped to get first aid. So it's more than could be expected. The hospitality is very nice.

It felt a little wet in rooms, although windows were usually open. A bed for one week stay is ok.

This place is amazing. Great location, amazing host, you have everything you need and then some and it's very charmingly decorated with local pieces. The host gave great recommendations for surrounding areas for activities and food. We are definitely coming back here if we visit this side of the island.

Nice homely little apartment, close to all facilities

Good location, in the centre, but still quiet at night. Easy access to the shops and restaurants in town. Only 50mts to the sea. Carmen met us at the station and took us for a gelato! Very helpful and pleasant.

Stairs up to the apartment, might be a challenge for some. No oven or microwave, but we managed just fine with a pan on the hob.

Well maintained apartment with vintage furniture. Beautiful spacious terrace with shade. Good wifi signal and internet speed. Appreciate provided bottle of wine and coffee. Very convenient location close to everything you may need.

Depends what kind of neighbors you get but the wall in bedroom is somehow thin and not so soundproof and when there was baby crying next door it was like it was crying right in our room and waking up our children.

Great place to stay!

Nice and very clean appartment with kitchen, wash machine and everything what we need with 2 small children. Carmen is very nice, friendly and helpfull. Location neer to the beach with clean sea, close to good restaurants and markets, buses and playground. Silent street, but still in the middle of the origin atmosphere of small and pitoresque sicilian town.we love it : )

We loved the apartment, Carmen was there at check in and gave us recommendations on where to go and visit and couldn't be happier with those tips. Everything in the apartment was perfect. The city is really worth visiting and staying longer, will definitely be a next time!

Superb

The owner is a very polite person. She had to wait for us till late because we've got lost. The apartment is nicely located in the city centre, yet you can easily reach the beach which is just a few minutes by foot. The bathroom was clean. Wi-fi was pretty good. It's a good starting point for excursions.

As in almost all Italian villages or towns, there was a problem with parking a car. There weren't any major troubles with equipment but only one short break in gas supply. I wonder if the apartment could be any cheaper?
