Feochan Bheag is an excellent holiday home to take the family; the house layout lends itself to socialising and being together. It is is in a beautiful location, within a very short drive of the amenities of Oban. We loved it so much we are looking to go back next year...

A lovely house with plenty of room for 3 generations. Well furnished and equipped
A wonderful outdoor space and surroundings.
Recommend the short walk up to the fairy pool

House is fantastic. Everything you need is available. Location is perfect.
We have no comments at all. Only a lot of compliments!!!

A great house, modern, with lovely large open plan kitchen/seating area. Well equipped and comfy, with room for dogs/wellies/washing.
Swimming towels would be a good addition, to save the wonderful white ones provided?

This well equipped house is perfectly sized for a large family get together in the lowlands of Scotland. Being 10 mins drive to Oban's great shops and restaurants is a big plus (however parking in Oban can be an expensive for longer than 3 hours). We found the property to be clean and quiet being in the small friendly hamlet with a small waterfall within 5 mins walk. Only complaint would be not enough toilet roll supplied when fully occupied but this was a very minor issue being so close to Tescos in Oban. Another bonus was a lack of midges in the valley which meant we could enjoy a BBQ outside in the sun without being eaten. Therefore I would thoroughly recommend a stay if you have a family big enough the fill the house.

Our group LOVED this home! It was perfect for what we needed. We loved the large kitchen and dining area. We specifically loved the two living spaces - it was great for our group as we had time together every night. The communication with West Coast Cottages was spectacular before and during the visit. There was an issue with one of the showers on day one, and the owner of the house came to fix it the next day. There wasn't enough toilet paper provided, so we had to buy our own. Overall, the place is perfect! We loved being outside behind the house. In the separate living area at night, if it is sunny that day, the light streams in and it is beautiful! Also, there is a waterfall a few minutes up the road that a few of us took a chilly dip in one morning. It was SO cold and SO fun. We were recommended this place by a family that stayed there on holiday in 2021. We hope to come back again!

Our recent stay at Feochan Bheag, with our extended family of 3 households, lived up to all expectations. The accommodation allowed all to have their own space, with superb communal living and dining areas.
During the holiday we celebrated 3 significant birthdays, booking the private chef from Argyll Exclusive private dining experience, who produced a superb meal and a highly memorable occasion.
The huge kitchen was a dream and allowed us to enjoy the spectacle of a chef at work.
The property was spotless throughout and beautifully located in the most peaceful setting, hills in front and forest behind, but close enough to Oban for all amenities.
Plenty of local walks, 10 minutes to a wonderful waterfall, and close to other locations of interest.
To be thoroughly recommended for larger group holidays.

Beautiful setting, very well equipped kitchen. We would have scored higher for comfort, but chairs around the dining table were too low as were the lounge sofas.

Wonderful holiday house in beautiful location
Wonderful holiday house with plenty of space for our family of 7 adults 1 child and 2 dogs! Very well equipped house. The downstairs bedroom has a very squeaky bed which was a bit annoying but was otherwise very comfortable. Really enjoyed the tranquil location. The large enclosed garden is an asset with walks for the dog by the river easily accessible. The only thing missing is a hot tub on the patio- this would have made our holiday 6 star!!
The house is close enough to Oban and it’s amenities (10 minutes drive away) yet feels like it’s really in the countryside. We had a Heron in the field behind the house and saw deer close by. A highlight was being able to wild swim in the pools just beyond the nearby waterfall which was spectacular!
Thank you West Coast Cottages for your great customer service. We would definitely come again- especially once that hot tub is installed!

Stunning holiday home.
A comfortable and well equipped home. Excellent layout and very practical for a large family holiday. Set in a superb quite rural location. The local neighbours were particularly friendly and gave us loads of information on the local area. We particularly liked the nearby waterfall. The children were overjoyed when asked if they would like to feed the lambs and collect eggs by the local farmer.

Excellent value for a large group
Well equipped and comfortable for a party of ten friends. A good location for exploring the area and still have easy access to Oban. Keep a look out for the pine marten.

All we hoped for
Feochan Bheag is impeccably managed. Its setting is perfect as long as you come by car which was our case. The enormous kitchen made the comfy living room almost superfluous. We would have needed more time than we had to explore the immediate vicinity which was right on the edge of beautiful scenery. All of us greatly appreciated that everything worked: including hot water and Wi-Fi. The area around Oban is our favourite part of Scotland, for the friendly town itself and its situation.

Just what the doctor ordered
We were 2 x families of 3 & 2 x black Labradors. The setting of the house is amazing!
Beautiful walks on the doorstep & enclosed & secure wrap around garden, which was great for the pups & us!
We only had one problem whilst there & the owner dealt with it quickly.
Would love to go back & would highly recommend!

Great, clean house for families and secluded, particularly if you have a dog! Would definitely use West Coast Cottages again to book when considering staying in beautiful Argyll.

Ideal get-away cottage in beautiful Oban
My family and friends’ family stayed at one of the bnb of West Coast Cottage. The house was clean, airy and very well equipped. We had a very comfortable, relaxed and warm stay. The location is ideal, just 15 minutes drive from coast of Oban. Surrounding land scape was wonderful. We have also took the advise of the host for a nice walk to the nearby waterfall.

Lovely house in stunning location
Great house, very well equipped - everything you need - and in excellent location. Ideal for local walks with pup and shops within 10min drive.

Excellent location. Beautiful, well maintained property.
The house is wonderfully situated in a very private area, with only a handful of properties nearby.
Well maintained and stocked house, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Plenty of rooms and space, with lovely living areas for large groups/families (we stayed as a family of 5 + grandparents)
Many beautiful and relaxing walks directly from property to nearby streams, waterfalls, hills and forests.
Short 15min drive to Oban for food and shopping.
Only negative was having to keep dogs in utility room, which I don’t recall being mentioned prior to arriving at property.
Overall a stunning property and experience that I would return to in a heartbeat.

Ideal Holiday Cottage
A very well equipped, spacious, peaceful cottage in the country with stunning walks, a river running by and several waterfalls, while still being only 15 minutes from Oban and about an hour's drive to Fort William and Glenfinnan to watch the Jacibite train crossing the viaduct. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous week in Oban
We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely big house with room for us all. Quiet location a few miles outside of Oban. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a great family time. Hosts were always available and helpful when needed. Really recommend the place.
4.9
Very peaceful location with beautiful views and walks.
Overall we had a lovely stay at Feochan Bheag.Bed linen fresh & beds comfortable.
Plenty space in the house for our needs and very well equipped although not much cupboard space to keep a weeks worth of groceries.
Although some bottled water was left for us we had to go to Oban to buy lots more for the entire stay as not recommended to drink the water if anyone was on immunosuppressant drugs or children under 5 it would have helped if we knew this before hand.
A couple of things like the barbecue we could not use as it was not clean. The log burner also had not been cleaned before our use.
Grass very long and lots of weeds around the house which made it very untidy looking.A few light bulbs also needed replaced throughout the house.

A beautiful, comfortable house in a lovely location close to Oban
We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Feochan Beag - the house is very comfortable and well equipped with kitchenware and glassware etc and the main kitchen dining and seating area is huge and a great place for larger groups to socialise in. Meanwhile the children can relax in the sitting room on the other side of the double sided wood burner stove which is super cosy. Comfy beds and bedding and excellent underfloor heating plus lots of hot water. Nice big fenced garden with a good size lawn and outside seating.
The location is very quiet with a great 10 minute walk up to the waterfalls on the river which are stunning and well worth a visit. Close enough to Oban to get a takeaway and nip to town for essentials which is a bonus.
Great customer service and communication from the agents West Coast Cottages, we are looking forward to our next stay already.

Outstanding family retreat ideally located for a quiet time and 15 min from Oban
We arrived to our clean, well equipped and spacious house basked in sunshine and it stayed for the week! Plenty room for the children to run around inside and out. Went on some lovey short walks from the house and it’s a short drive into Oban for other activities. Highly recommend west coast cottages for their customer care and great properties.

Perfect tranquillity in the West of Scotland
Very well equiped spacious property, excellent heating, entrance room, open plan kitchen and dining with wood burning stove made coming back from wet walks a pleasure in March! Loved the out of the way location. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect
If you fancy a few days, or a week, away from the hustle of life then this property and location is ideal.
Well finished and kitted out, it has an open plan sociable feel.
Loads of hot water and wood for the fire, it is cosy.
Kitchen is well equipped.
Yep, we will be back.

A weekend stay 3 nights 6 of us
The house was excellent just as shown in photos. Clean lots of room good layout lots of hot water lots of dishes pots and pans. The location is a little remote but only 10 minutes from Oban. Good taxi service and can walk out along the path or to the fairy pools. Would recommend. Thanks for a great weekend

Feochan Bheag - a beautiful property in an ideal location for a large group
There were eleven of us aged from 9 to 69 years old and the house was very comfortable for us. The garden is a good size too so with sunny weather there hardly seemed any need to go anywhere. The facilities were all in good working order and there is plenty of parking space. The barbecue could be located in a quiet spot on the patio away from neighbours, providing the opportunity to sit outside late on nice evenings with a fire and without disturbing anyone.
A ten minute walk up the road brought us to a sizeable waterfall under which we could swim. The views from the house are good and we could walk to the stream across the field. It's only a fifteen minute drive to Oban and lots of other interesting locations are within easy reach. All ideal.
One downside was rubbish disposal and recycling. The two bins were almost full when we arrived and there was no collection during our stay, consequently we had to take stuff to the recycling centre every day, not really what you want to be doing on holiday.

A relaxing stay in a stunning location.
The house was beautiful, fully equipped, very comfortable and offered the most amazing views from every single window in the house. It was a perfect space to socialise and have quality family time whilst not feeling we were on top of each other. The beds were so comfy. To be able to wake up each morning and see mountains is perfect. To have nothing but the sound of a babbling brook and birds. The house does not feel too remote as there are other houses on the road - you just don’t notice them. This was the best house we have ever stayed in as a holiday rental and created memories I will cherish.

Comfortable and very restful rural setting with little to do for an elderly couple .
A bicycle shelter would be a bonus too as no outside shed for any extra gear.

Excellent Holiday Accommodation
Perfect retreat for a relaxing Christmas break with the family. Very clean, warm and well equipped house. The beds were very comfortable, we haven’t slept so well in ages. The large Christmas tree was decorated beautifully for our arrival. The owners have thought of everything. We couldn’t fault a thing and would definitely recommend this beautiful property without hesitation.

Great location/great house
Five adults and one dog stayed here for a long weekend. The house was clean & had everything you would need. The kitchen / living area / wood burner area is much larger than it appears in the photos. We brought our own logs etc but actually there was plenty there. Showers were brilliant & beds comfy. One small negative was that the fence between the garden & the sheep field had two gaps below it which my dog (who chases sheep) could easily fit through & he had to kept on the lead when he was out. This wasn’t a huge issue in December but wouldn’t be great in the summer if everyone was outside. House was a 10 min drive from Oban if you needed anything. We had a great time & will definitely return.
