Acogedora estancia

Rossy e Isabel son las mejores anfitrionas! Te ayudan en todo lo necesario para que la estadía sea de lo más agradable. Te hacen sentir en casa. La limpieza y espacios comunes son muy agradables.

Not suitable for a non-social person nor light sleepers

The owner

The room is tiny. 2 steps down from the common area, then the private bathroom is 2 steps up from the bedroom. Roof is simply branches of wood. You can hear everything. Wifi didn't work in the room.

excelente alojamiento, tranquilo, seguro

me gusto mucho la tranquilidad de este alojamiento, también la amabilidad de las personas que lo atendían, el tiempo que estuve no tuve ningún problema con nada, podíamos tener comodidad y buen ambiente familiar, sin duda recomiendo esta hostal.

Lovely friendly staff, good stay

Staff were really friendly and welcoming Shower runs on a gas boiler so there's always hot water The bed was really comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep warm Kitchen was well equipped with a big fridge There's a nice little courtyard area to eat and drink

Room was very small and basic, but fine for a couple of nights Location is about 10-15 minute walk out of the main tourist street

Lovely Staff and very clean. The room has no heating and is rather small. Nice bathroom with hot shower and the possibility to make your laundry. Isabel and her daughter were very friendly and always there for questions.

The staff was just absolutely wonderful! Special thanks to Isabel who is such a kindhearted woman. The place was also often cleaned and there's a kitchen and you can do your laundry for a small fee.

Sadly the building is very old and therefore the rooms and facilities aren't that great.

The owners were very nice - thanks again for letting us leave our bags for our Uyuni trip! The room was very clean.

The room smelled quite musty and moldy - we did not see any mold however. It's difficult to let some fresh air in, since the rooms don't have windows. We had some issues with water access (cut off one night) and the property is pretty far out the city center. I think for a similar price you can find better accommodation in San Pedro.

the wifi reception was either non existent or you could not download anything. However I believe the whole town suffered from poor connectivity.

Not very much value for money.

It is relatively centrally located.

Substandard in all respects. Not even a plug in the room. Had to charge an iPhone icer the bathroom sink. Everything in San Pedro is way overpriced, but this one was reallyno value for money.

I won’t stay there again.

location ok. abt 13mins walk to centre along dusty road

once the water ran out, you will have no water to shower or flush toilets and wash hands. I couldn’t flush my toilets on 2 nights and can’t shower for 1 night due to water shortage. however, water will be refill early the next morning the room that I stayed in is a corner 3 beds room. it’s facing the main road and will be woken up early or in the middle of the night by noise outside. this room also has no mirror. no dressing mirror, no toilets mirror instead m given a fridge which is irrelevant. for the 7 nights I was there, no clean or clear of rubbish in the room. nor change of sheets or towels. I even had to go round looking for the toilet papers in their storage to get refill. heater is also not stable. btw, they don’t provide toiletries as stated in their page. wifi is lousy. out of 7nights, 4 nights I had no wifi to use. basically, once you check in, make payment and you will be given a set of keys. there after you are left on your own. I only met the caretaker/ owner twice throughout my stay. but I must say they are friendly non English speaking people.

Good for a short stay!

- the owner is so kind and helps with everything, and the woman who works there is always smiling and wants to chat! - good value for your money - great WiFi which is hard to find in San Pedro

- sporadic hot water - there’s nothing nearby, you have to walk to center for food, shops etc

Reasonably priced private in San Pedro de Atacama. Kitchen facilities. Area to sit out.

A little bit of a walk from the Main Street but very doable. Rooms were very dark. There isn’t someone there all the time so be careful of check in if you don’t have a SIM card to contact host.
