We enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location. Easy to get too. In the amenities, air conditioning was listed but there was only ceiling fans. We did okay. But it was hot during the day.

Small but comfortable apartment for two with everything we needed. Enjoyed being out on the balcony for meals etc at any time of day. Nice old town vibe. Easy walk to/from station. Small grocery store and a nice coffee shop/ bakery just a few steps from the apartment. Just sorry we had to shorten our stay due to the rail strike.

We loved everything from the location with a nice sized patio overlooking the main street to the great area to explore situated perfectly on beginning of the Blue Trail!

We stayed in Monterosso for five nights. The apartment is in a perfect location. An easy 10 min walk from the train station! The apartment is clean, quiet and has an amazing balcony to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine on it. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

We stayed 12 nights in beautiful Monterosso and enjoyed all the days. Our apartment and Augusta were great. So close to everything including Laura's, a great pasticceria so close for morning croissants stuffed with cream! Grocery right across the way. Augusta is very responsive and responds thru What's App. We loved this apartment. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. We would stay again! Thank you Augusta.

The apartment is located about 1 kilometre from the train station but is fairly easy to access. It’s is a reasonably quite area of Monterosso away from the main tourist flow but is still very handy to all the bars and restaurants.
The apartment is perfectly sized for a couple with a good size bedroom, plenty of cupboard space, lounge/dining, small bathroom and kitchen. All perfectly fine for a short stay. The small outdoor balcony was a bonus.
Most things worked fine although the shower drain seemed to be blocked causing the water to take some time to drain. We also discovered the main oven didn’t work at all however there was a microwave available.
Generally a pleasant place with a very responsive and non-intrusive host

Property was very clean and walkable to many restaurants/shops in Monterosso, while still being off the beaten path. House was quiet and the deck was lovely. Augusta was very nice.

Spacious and clean with a nice balcony to hang out on. The apartment is located less than 5 mins away from the beach shore with little shops and restaurants along the way. Good shower pressure and washing machine worked great.
Augusta was available for any questions if we needed her.
There are about 25 steps to climb to get to the apartment door, so keep this in mind if you have accessibility needs. Overall, we loved our stay in Monterosso!
Would highly recommend!

A truly immersive stay in one of the most beautiful places in Italy. The host was great, met us at the door and showed us up to apartment. The host had everything we needed for the stay. The price was very competitive to surrounding options. Grazie mille!

This rental is nicer than the pictures depict, the location is great. I am a woman traveling alone and the building is very secure. It is on a popular street so you won’t feel alone coming and going. Augusta was lovely, but does not speak english so need to communicate via email or app with translation. Thank you Augusta!

Apartment was in excellent location in Old Town section of Monterosso. Greeted by hostess who greeted us warmly. Spent 3 wonderful days visiting all 5 villages using the train and hiking trails. Ate dinners at 3 different restaurants that all served excellent food with outdoor seating at reasonable rates. Final day took ferry for great views. All around outstanding experience.

My friend and I had a nice stay in this cute but spacious one bedroom. It is located just at the end of the busy touristy part of Monterosso which afforded a nice escape but extremely close access to beach, shops, and restaurants. It’s about a 15 min walk to the train station. It’s a relatively flat walk which we were grateful for compared to the other 5 towns that were quite hilly. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the street. The apartment itself is nice, not modern but everything worked and the place was stocked with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. I did notice some ants on the bathroom floor but otherwise the apartment was clean. It can be noisy in the early morning with dogs barking. Nothing some ear plugs can’t fix. Even with these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this apartment and would happily stay here again.

This place was a perfect spot for myself and my friend who came to do the Cinque Terre hike. It’s about 3/4 a mile (easy walk) once you get off the train, and Monterossa was the best town to stay in IMO. The apartment was the perfect size for the two of us- very clean, accessible, comfortable, and right in the heart of town. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came back!

Short stay in Monterosso
Communication before arrival Very good and very informative .
This is just advice for the owner and not a complaint But the “Fan” in the living area only worked on the “Low” setting .

Most exceptional apartment
The location was marvelous to enjoy Monterosso al Mar. Comfortable walk to/from train station side of the town. Great hike to Manarola. Visited all 5 towns with train pass, easy/peasy. Great beach experience laying in lounger chairs-sipping a mai tai, temperature of the mar was wonderful. Highest recommend.

I came for 4 days with my mom and we had a great stay in Augusta’s apartment!
It is so good to take the breakfast on the terrace! The place is quiet and well situated, 5 min from the sea.
Augusta and her son are very reactive and kind.
Thanks for everything!

Stay Here!
A great little apartment for two people. It's located on the main street in Monterosso but far enough away from the noise. The small terrace is perfect to sit outside, drink limoncello and watch the world go by. Signora Augusta is a wonderful hostess.

Comfortable, Clean and Great Patio
We really enjoyed our stay here in Monterosso. Check in was made very easy and accommodating. The owner was very friendly. We loved to location in the part old town and in the evenings it was great to sit in the patio and enjoy some wine and relaxing conversation about our day.
We really enjoyed this area and it was exactly what we were looking for, but my rating would have been better except that we did not have ANY hot water during our stay and despite repeated attempts (3) I still haven’t heard from the owner.
Also the apartment is advertised as having air conditioning, when it clearly does not. Renters should be made aware of this.

Great Apartment
Staying at Augusta's apartment in Monterosso was a perfect home base to explore all of Cinque Terre. In the heart of the Old Town, you had all the great characteristics the towns had to offer. Lots of food and shopping next door, easy walk to the beach, and right next to the ferry to take you to the towns next store. Augusta was a great host!

Great stay in Monterosso
We loved our apartment in the old section of Monterosso, Cinque Terra. Augusta and her son were so helpful during the check in process. The apartment was delightful with a great deck overlooking the street where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening and coffee and pastries in the morning. It was in the perfect part of town with a market right across the street. The beach scene was very busy and we liked this quiet part of town. We explored the Cinque Terra by train and boat and it was so easy from this location. Loved the recommendations for dinner places. Would recommend this apartment to one and all.

Cinque Terre visit
Great location! Lots of room. Amazing shower. Nice little terrace. Grocery right across the street. Would definitely go back. Augusta speaks little English but wasn’t an issue. Can use WhatsApp to communicate but I realized it late; overlooked that in a message which would have helped when we arrived early. Was fun!

Great location, comfortable, clean, clearly stay there again.
The host was there to greet us and explain everything. Nice size place , hot shower, comfortable bed, and space to spread out. Everything worked. Loved the section of town. Enjoyed the restaurants, excellent hikes, and stores to look at.

Augusta's place
We absolutely loved this unit. It had everything we needed and was in the best location. Felt like a local and loved sitting on the balcony with our wine just street watching. Totally love the old Monterosso area. I would stay here again at another visit. Thank you for having us 😃

Everything you need in Monterosso
If you are looking to stay in the Cinque Terre villages, and in the village with the most to offer, Monterosso is the place to be and this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located in the old town, about a 15 minute, mostly flat walk from the train station. We quickly realized that we were located perfectly to enjoy the CT area in the best ways possible. Lots of good restaurant options right within a 5 minute walk, a market across the way, the beach, and quick access to the best open trails (to Levanto/to Vernazza/and to the city's sanctuary). The apartment has a balcony for relaxing in the afternoon and it did not get direct sun so it stayed cool. Plus there are ceiling fans.to keep you comfortable. Nothing fancy, but all the essentials are there. Augusta does not speak much English but we didn't have any issues checking in and getting all the information we needed. She is also very responsive before arrival.

Absolutely LOVED it!!!
This is the most quaint, warm, charming apartment in a perfect location! We did 2 weeks in Italy, staying at 6 different places in total, and this was my favorite. The decor is so charming, the kitchen is well equipped, the water pressure in the shower is perfect, the terrace is wonderful, and the location could not be better. My timeline got confused and my daughter and I showed up 4 hours before check in, but a neighbor called Augusta and she met us there in minutes. I hated to leave after 3 days!

A slice of heaven
We loved Monterosso al Mar. we were lucky to be there 5 glorious nights. So much to do in the 5 towns. While we are not hikers we were not at a loss for things to do.
