Enjoyed it.

We had a great time! The house is excellent for people being together--family meals and interaction in open spaces--and room for separation to sleep. We were near the beach and loved walking there and looking for shells. The only downside is that the spaces could have been cleaner. One boy found both a candy wrapper and and unopened candy bar under his bed. One of the adult women saw way too much dust under the bed as she did stretching exercises.

This home was a tight fit for 6 adults and one 8 year old. We had a good stay, but although listed as beach front, only the athletic had access to and from the beach. It was not clear that the beach view was blocked by a high dune. Some upgrades to the home were in place but more is needed. The house is not terrible, but I was disappointed from the listing description.

The house was great. The beach access was great but it was quite a climb both ways. You have a big hill to get up to see the beach then a steep climb down to get there. Going to the right down the path, we found a way that was a tiny bit better but it was not easy. Definitely easier for the younger group! The beach was excellent though! Quiet and perfect!
The pots and pans and available cooking equipment could be improved. I would definitely bring my own next time! The amount of time I spent scrubbing the pots and pans was aggravating and everything stuck no matter what you did! Also, not having enough baking dishes made it hard to cook for a large group. Plenty of utensils though! For the price paid for the house I would hope to have a decent set up for the kitchen. Especially as big as the house was. This is a universal problem I’ve found with rentals, which is mind boggling, it’s an easy fix and really shouldn’t be an issue.
The beds were great! Lots of towels! We always had hot water! The furniture was comfy.
It would have been nice to have a working outside faucet. Thankfully there was a vacuum cleaner and the floors were all tile so cleanup was a breeze.
Even with the climb to get to the beach we would definitely stay again. It was a wonderful house.

Great place for the five of us, beach access is adventurous, but fun. Location at the South end was great for dog walking. Across the street was the boat launch on the river, watched Bald Eagles, Osprey and Herons every time I headed that way. If you have paddle boards or kayaks, bring them. We will be back.

Entry stairs were tough for my parents. House was clean. Served our needs. There was no view at all, although it was not advertised with a view. I wrongly assumed a house on the beach with sand dunes meant we would have access from the house. We had to walk a short distance to access beach.

Beach access was not very good, and heating in lower half was not good except bedrooms. Also dishes and utensils were minimal. But enjoyed stay otherwise.

Nice clean cozy house, great location, easy access to beach. Went fishing in the morning, walked on the beach in the afternoon, cooked a nice home family meal at the house for Dinner. Traveled to Lincoln City to play slots at Chinook Winds Casino. Great weekend all and all.

This property is in a great location, close to everything but also very quiet and private. It was a great winter stay. Warm and cozy and very clean.

We did like how close the beach was, but next time we will be sure to ask about beach access since the access from this property is really nonexistent.
I also will be sure to ask if we are able to open the windows since you cloud not open one window and not only was it stuffy but it was uncomfortable when it came to sleeping.
Other than that it was a lovely wknd mostly because of the people, and the weather.

Not as expected
The house was a lot shabbier than in the photos online and the windows were all broken. We had a stormy weekend and the window in the dining room kept slamming open periodically and it was hard to close again since all of the window knobs were broken off. There were a lot of spiders in the home which scared the kids. The kitchen would benefit from a sheet pan or two.

Great place
We loved this location and the house itself. It's cozy yet more than accommodating for our 5 person family and dog. The only downside was beach erosion has cut the dune path to the beach from a hill, to a cliff slope. If you are not in at least decent shape, it's pretty tough to get up and down it. Otherwise, great quiet place yet still close to everything you want to see in PC.

It was a nice place to get away to. Would definitely go back again if the need arose.

Beautiful location
We loved this house. It was clean and had plenty of space for 6 people and 2 dogs. The beach was only a short walk up the dune and the views were amazing.

Great house for Thanksgiving holiday
We were very happy with our beach rental. The house was very clean upon our arrival and had everything we needed to make the house "our own" for the days we were there. Since we were there for a holiday weekend and during Covid we had no plans on going anywhere and this house made it easy for us to hunker down and be comfortable. Lots of room to spread out. Beach access was close, but the dune you have to climb is fairly steep. Would be tough with little kids or elderly/physically challenged folks. Communication with the rental group was great.

Neighborhood is generally quiet

Pacific city beachhouse.
A nice "affordable" place to stay.

A wonderful house in the dunes and grass on the edge of town. It was a roomy enough space to hold six of us comfortably. The beach is just over the hill. A little disappointed that they do not allow for windows to be opened. The ocean breeze is part of the charm of the coast. But we enjoyed our stay very much

Nice home but horrible beds
The beds were so uncomfortable that we were hardly able to sleep. The home is nice, but the idea of getting away is to rest and recoup. My husband an i were in the master downstairs and my daughter and her fiance were in the other adult room downstairs. Their bed had a tag on it from 1984 and no mattress protector at all. Yuck! They could not sleep. Ours wasnt as bad as theirs but still was uncomfortable enough so we couldnt rest well.

Great Location!
We enjoyed our stay, the house is in a great location. It definitely could use some updating in the kitchen and furniture. The beach is so close! Access is over a small dune, so it is uphill both ways. It was well supplied, though no casserole dish, or blender, if you need one. The faucet in front was not on, so we could not rinse our feet after time on the beach, the foot brush was nice, but didn't work well enough. All the windows are rusted or disintegrating, so most don't open. Not sure how that will be in the summer, we opened the two that opened, since it got warm with us cooking and hanging out. (thermostat was at 50) It definitely had plenty of space for the 8 of us. We got to watch deer walking by the back windows daily, which was cool.

Great house!
Great family friendly home. Not super fancy but had ample dishes and cook ware which is always nice. Super pet friendly also. Wish we could see ocean from house but so close to walk to beach it was great and the dune was a pretty view also! We had a great time and would use again for sure!

RENTER BEWARE; PICS BELIED ACCURATE BEACH ACCESS & SURROUNDING SLOPES
CONS:
1) For the most part the pictures are accurate; however, they do not reveal how difficult it is to access the beach from the house due to an extremely steep sand dune. Our party consisted of 8 adults & 1 toddler, and one gentleman from our party that suffers from Kennedy's Disease literally had to climb on his hands and knees to crest the knoll in order to enjoy the reason for our 12 + hour drive: the beach.
2) The (obvious) master bedroom was very nice and comfortable, while the other downstairs bedroom was the very opposite. It boasted a worn-out mattress with coils that made their presence known all night and squeaked at the slightest provocation, with a tiny dresser (no TV or cable like the master), and two $20 DIY 3' high shelving units for the remaining furniture (Think red-headed step-child's room)
3)The windows everywhere were a fail as they did not open; not very pleasant in the August evenings as we tried to cool the house down for sleeping.
4) The refrigerator failed on us the second to last night of our stay, causing our food to be wasted
5) The house boasts accommodations for 11 but only provided LR seating for 6
6) Did not have a view of the beach from the house (but you did see some impressive sand dunes)
PROS:
1) Loved that it was pet friendly!
2) The showers had incredible water pressure =D
3) Was located at the end of the beach, which was very private and secluded
4) (Once on the beach) had a great view of Haystack Rock and combed up sand dollars aplenty!
5) A couple of wire baskets were available to use for beach combing...loved this small thoughtfulness!
6) The deposit was affordable, with the remaining balance due at the time of possession
7) House provided a few games, dvd's, and books to enjoy while there.

Loved the location
The location was perfect for the kids. They were able to run up and over the sand dune trail to play in the beach sand without our having to leave the property. There were plenty of individual beds for each of the 9 people in our party. We loved that deer came out to graze each day we were there.
The property could use a new coat of better quality semi-gloss paint as the cheap white flat paint is dirty and can't be cleaned. However, the property was quite enjoyable.
