About this apartment rental
This is a beautifully appointed first floor apartment in a small residential block minutes from the sea front and all the bars and restaurants. There is a lift. The apartment has been decorated to an extremely high standard. The floors are cream marble with underfloor heating, keeping it very warm in the winter months and cool in the summer. There is air conditioning throughout which can also be used for heat and ceiling fans throughout. A communal pool is within the grounds which has a children’s shallow area. This is accessed either through the garage or via a separate gate. There is wifi, cable T.V The naya, which is an enclosed balcony, has full length sliding windows which can be easily opened to let in the summer breeze. There is an awning for extra shade.
The kitchen is very well equipped with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and fridge freezer. There is also an iron and ironing board. The roof terrace (communal) has magnificent views over the bay of Javea and Montgo, this is accessed from a door on the third floor and can be used for hanging washing or a sundowner.
Within minutes of leaving the apartment, you are in the hub of the Port area which has a very Spanish feel and where many locals live and work. You will mainly hear Spanish spoken in the Port, although they do try hard to understand English and the younger ones speak a little. There are two supermarkets in the Port one called 'Mas y Mas' where all items can be bought. There is a larger supermarket called 'Mercadona' which is located between the Port and the Arenal. Mercadona delivers and you can order on line prior to your stay for about 7 euros delivery charge. There is a pharmacy round the corner and they do speak English. The tap water throughout Javea is extremely clean and can be used for drinking, although many people still prefer to drink the bottled water which is less than €2 for 8 litres. Wine is inexpensive and ranges from €2 upwards. A fairly nice wine will only cost about €3 making it easy to open that second bottle at the end of the evening.
300 metres from the apartment is the sea front where there are many small restaurants on the pedestrian promenade overlooking the sea making it an idyllic place to sit. Many offer a menu del dia which is a three course meal often with wine included, these range from about €17 euros to €25 euros plus. It is often advisable to reserve a table in the months of July and August. At the end of July the fiesta in Javea Port is 'Moros y Cristianos' which is the Moors and the Christians where they reenact battles and have numerous parades in which everyone is dressed in fantastic costumes. The streets are closed to vehicles during the large Fiesta. The costumes are magnificent and they spend all year making them in preparation for the following fiesta. They are certainly worth seeing and it appears that the entire community get involved including families of all generations. It is certainly not to be missed and the Port stays alive most of the night with a brilliant firework display at the end of each evening. The locals are really friendly and go out of their way to make visitors very welcome. However it is a noisy week so should be avoided if you are looking for some quiet time.

The Old town is well worth a visit and is steeped in history. There is a local market held every Thursday where fresh produce can be bought as well as souvenirs. The church of San Bartolome dominates the centre of javea Town and is surrounded by cobbled streets, bars and restaurants where you can sit watching the locals enjoying life.
The Arenal or beach area is large wide sandy beach with a Blue Flag. It is a shallow beach making it safe for small children and is surrounded by a large promenade with numerous bars and restaurants and many discotheques.
Just 8 kms south of Arenal is Cabo de la Nao which sits high on the cliff affording stunning views as far as Ibiza on a clear day. Javea has a 9 hole golf course which is open to the public and an 18 hole course can be found in Denia.

Absolutely perfect , could not say anything bad about this apartment. Very clean tidy with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday .
We were met by one of the most helpful young lady ( Gosia ) who showed us around the apartment and answered any questions we had.
Only thing that could slightly improve this apartment is a couple of overhanging branches to give you a complete view of the sea . Will be returning next year .

We had a lovely stay but did notice the road noise since making the promenade road one way.
Great location and facilities. Kitchen is a little dated but very functional. Nice pool area but not the prettiest of views from the built in balcony.

The location is well situated, not far from the Port, the Bars and the restaurants, nevertheless, we do not recommand this appartment if you have young children. The swiming Pool was not clean everyday, the balcony/Veranda is not usable, as it is very hot to stay there, and the garage is realy difficult to use, especially if you have a familly car.

Lovely clean apartment in central location near Javea Port where I have holidayed for over 11 years so know the area well. Great place to stay well equipped and nicely presented . Perfect for our short walking trip .

Fabulous spot for a mini break
Really good apartment in a great location. Excellent facilities (didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting!). Had all we needed for a 4 night break and really close to a great choice of bars and restaurants around the port. 35 minute walk to fabulous Arenal beach. Would really recommend the apartment and Yvette who was there to meet us was very helpful.

Perfecto - just what we hoped for
We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment and it never felt like just a rental. Perfect location and great to leave the car in the garage and walk to the nearby facilities of Javea port area. We used the pool every day which was wonderful . The information provided by Elaine ahead of our stay was really helpful and meeting Helen on arrival made us feel very welcome. Lovely property, owner very helpful
We really enjoyed our stay in Elaine’s apartment. It was comfortable, well equipped and well located with a nice pool which our daughter loved. My one small criticism was the uncomfortable mattresses on the twin beds which I mentioned to Elaine. She really appreciated my honest feedback has since replaced them. This lady really cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to rectify any problems. Her property manager Yvette was really helpful too. We would definitely consider returning. Thank you Elaine and Yvette!

Nice apartment
Pros: good central position; clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment; quiet and peaceful; javea is a delightful area with many excellent restaurants, and lots of walking and cycle routes.
Cons: €100 extra charge for cleaning, slight traffic noise, manoeuvring the car into garage was challenging because of lack of turning space, beds in twin room very uncomfortable.
We enjoyed our time at the apartment and had everything we needed. Would recommend.

Luxury + convenience
Just returned from a 2 week stay in javea , we were lucky to have found this lovely apartment close to shops / restaurants and bars.
As an 80 yr old I treat this holiday as probably my last trip abroad ,but having found such a lovely convenient apartment in javea as they say “it ain’t necessarily so”

Very good property.
Communication from Elaine prompt and informative. We were met by her representative Yvette when we arrived late at night. Apartment well presented and clean. Lovely sitting area and enclosed balcony. Only downside is the view of a side street.
We only had continental breakfast in the apartment so did not use cooking facilities. A problem with the washing machine was quickly rectified. The shower is above the bath and always ample hot water. However I found the shower difficult to position and found I had to move my position to suit the direction of water flow. Minor inconvenience.
The location is good near supermarkets and excellent restaurants of the port area. Approximately 2 km walk to sandy beach or old town.
Overall I would recommend the area and the apartment.

Lovely light apartment and well positioned.
We thought it was well appointed. Everything worked alright. However we thought 80 euros to clean the apartment after we left was way over the top. Having said that we would consider staying again.

Beautiful Apartment, Lovely Owner
The apartment was exactly as advertised. Beautifully furnished and extremely clean. With all the amenities wanted. The location is perfect as it is only a very short walk to the port, where there are plenty of restaurants.
Elaine was a wonderful hostess checking that everything was alright and checking that we had everything needed, even down to having an umbrella in the apartment for emergencies.

Beautiful comfortable apartment at the heart of the Port and Old Town
2nd time staying here. Booking, greeting and payment all handled quickly and no issues. 5 minutes walk from the seafront and a wide range of bars, restaurants and fiestas if you are lucky (we were). Lovely apartment in Javea
Lovely 2 bedroom apartment, close to shops and the beach with places to eat. Clean open space with an outside seating area. Really enjoyed the stay, there is a pool and very easy to get to all the local places to eat and drink. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic!
This apartment is fantastic, I have stayed previously and reviewed it and can only say it has got better. There has been some updating and redecorating since I was last there and the quality is wonderful. There is now wifi (which is excellent and a good speed) and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and naya area which I really liked. The location is brilliant, this is the first time we didn’t hire a car and got the beniconnect and it was really simple and easy. Once there we really could walk everywhere we wanted. The port is on your doorstep (my preference for restaurants) but we walked over to the Arenal a few times (20ish minutes). Will definitely be staying here again.
