We had a great experience at this property. Everything was clean and in order, and there was even some air conditioning, which we were surprised about. Even though we were there during a heat wave, we were always comfortable at the property. There was plenty of space and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed.

Our large family group stayed 5 nights here. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We brought a baby gate for the stairs as my 18 mon old grandson was with us, but the staircase was too wide for a standard gate (we used a cooler instead to block the way. Wifi was slow and spotty due to remote location I would suspect. Home was not as clean as I would have liked, lots of hair in the showers and tub, many corners with dust bunnies. A sprinkler broke while we were there and management quickly responded. Overall a good place for a large group.

Good location, price is right. We had a full house of adults and everyone was comfortable. Plenty of places to sleep, hang out, play games. You can ride snowmobiles right from the house

Excellent location for this group.

The house was large and spacious. However the sofa and loveseat on the main floor is worn out. Sitting there is hard on your back because you sink clear down. The dining table was sticky. I was glad I brought a tablecloth.
Also the primary bedroom’s bed is so high that you have to use a stool to get on it. If you are elderly like us, this was difficult and dangerous. We both fell getting off the bed.
Lastly, the twin bed in the basement bedroom had urine stains on the sheets. We had to wash them. Obviously the sheets had not been changed.

My family stayed here and it was wonderful. We had plenty of room for 17 people and it was very clean and in a beautifully scenic area. Very close to Yellowstone and near a grocery store. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay! Kudos to Kabino!

Great accommodations for a large group or family. Nice amenities, games and kitchen setup.

We had a nice stay without any issues and close to the yellow stone west entrance. The house is clean and as expected and I highly recommend for a group of 12-16 group to stay comfortably.
One small issue was the projector Sony connector is outdated as only way to play from Netflix or Prime using USB but no other option.

It is a beautiful house with all amenities.

The house has plenty of room and was in a great location. We had some minor issues, but we were able to communicate with the property management and they responded quickly. We were gone most of the day at the park, but returned in the evening. It worked great for what we needed.

This property had great amount of space for large group to relax comfortably. Three showers, large dining and plenty of beds. Parking was tight, but that’s common in island park where the snow is ten feet high.

We loved this vacation home! It was perfect for our family!
We had 16 family members on our vacation. We were so fortunate to have perfect weather for snowmaching and playing in the snow. We especially liked the laundry room that provided a perfect place to dry wet gear and store helmets, gloves, warm hats, coats and snow pants. The whole family enjoyed the theater room. It was big enough for all of us to watch a movie together. The kitchen is a nice size, we were able to have several people cooking at the same time. I think this is our favorite vacation home we have ever stayed in!

My husband, kids and grandkids stayed at this property for a visit to Yellowstone. We had the best time. The cabin was wonderful. There was room for all 11 of us plus extra space. It was beautiful and we made some forever memories there. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a retreat planned.
Perfect location for going out on an ATV ride, fishing, and walk/hike.
Everything was available for cooking and showers.

We loved this place! Beautifully furnished and everyone had room to relax.

Everything was fabulous -- plenty if space, beds are comfortable abd location was very convenient.

We LOVED this cabin! Location was great right on the golf course. Well stocked kitchen right down to a rice cooker. Plenty of room for everyone without feeling on top of each other. Enjoyed being able to pull into garage. Location was convenient to the small store and where we rented razors right across the highway.

This is a beautiful home on a quiet street in a great location. This home was all that was promised and more. A beautiful home inside and out. Very spacious. Our entire family fit in this home with room to spare. A very nice theater room was an added bonus. I highly recommend this home. Mitch

As advertised. Only two issues. No one was staying the day we departed but no late check out available. BBQ was a flaming mess so I spent an hour getting built up gunk out of it so we could use it the rest of our stay.

Cozy and Roomy
The property was clean, but two beds were made up with dirty sheets. If you are staying more than four days take your own toilet tissue and paper towels. You might need laundry detergent to wash towels. There was none when we were there.
This beautiful house was very roomy and there was plenty of space to cook and prepare meals.
We would recommend this property to any one.

We found the description of the property to be accurate, and it was in a wonderful location for enjoying local outdoor activities, and about 30 minutes from Yellowstone's West Gate. The house was well-sized for a larger group with plenty of room for people to get together and have some privacy, when needed. We would happily rent it again, if in the area.

Awesome Home and Perfect location
This home was clean and spacious as well as the perfect location to the west entrance to Yellowstone. There was 12 of us and nobody felt crowded in the space. It had a great layout with multiple areas for gathering—doing jigsaw puzzles, watching NHL playoff games on tv or watching movies in the theater room. Everyone enjoyed the home and a few even played 9 holes on the course behinds the house! Recommend to all families!

Nice house for a family stay. One of the things we enjoyed the most was a separate table in a craft room right off the kitchen. We always bring craft supplies to keep the kids busy during down times and it was so nice not having to clear the table all the time. We did have a rough start with the temperature of the house when we arrived. It was a cold, snowy evening and no one had turned up the heat so it was 55 degrees inside. Then, when we turned up the heat, the upstairs furnace wouldn’t come on. Thank goodness a very kind maintenance person from Kabino came over at 10:00 pm and, when he couldn’t get the furnace to work either, left us space heaters. Things worked out. Really, the only complaint I have is the carpets could use a good cleaning.

Came to Island Park for a fishing trip. Excellent location, spacious, and well taken care of. Lots of rooms, tvs everywhere. Maybe think about adding a hot tub!!

Good location
Spent 4 nights with 7 adults, we enjoyed the house but could have been cleaned better! The house was comfortable and great location to West Gate to Yellowstone!

We were looking forward to staying here so much, but when we got here, it was dirty. The beds were made, but we questioned if the sheets had been actually laundered. There was layers of dust everywhere, and so many things on the floors that I had to vaccum the entire place myself. Food items on the floor in kitchen, popcorn in the theater room, super dusty tv stands, and I did not let the kids play in the attic type space because who knows when that was last vaccumed. We had trouble getting in because there was no power at the time of check in, and luckily someone came after spending time on the phone with management. After indicating that the place was dirty, all that they said was "we'll check with housekeeping" and they NEVER even got back to me. Even after subsequent requests to speak to someone about the state of the house, radio silence. The laundry machine was the most convoluted thing ever and required about three hours to do a full load. If housekeeping really did lauder stuff at the house, I doubt much was done between the 10am checkout and the same day check in that we had. If you need a space for a larger family and there is nothing else, I suggest you go ahead and book out of necessity, but I'd really try for something else in terms of cleanliness and the type of service you get from a management company vs owner. We stayed at a property in Felt, ID just before this property for the same price that was AMAZING and the host went above and beyond our expectations. You just won't get such a thing with this property. Even their directions on checkin in and out made you feel talked down to, as if we were doing them a huge service by staying there.

Spacious and comfortable, needs love.
This spacious pleasant home provided a comfortable base for our family of thirteen (three generations) to enjoy the area, Yellowstone in particular. Plenty of nice beds, cookware, and dishes to service a large group. More attention to detail would boost the grade of this house from a wimpy B minus to a solid A plus. Lots of glasses, but many are chipped. House could use a good cleaning as several pieces of furniture had not been dusted. Light bulbs needed replacing. The large back deck has a massive picnic table which was perfect for our large group: this area with just a little TLC could be an area for a delightful evening gathering with a few inexpensive patio chairs and some stain for the dilapidated deck. Same with the ample front porch; large space, no comfortable spots to sit and enjoy the natural beauty. Finally, the gas bottle for the grill: the house directions state that the renter is responsible for getting gas if the tank runs out. That is unacceptable. Imagine returning from an active day exploring YNP or rafting and looking forward to feeding a hungry bunch with some great burgers and cold beer only to find that the gas gives out only two minutes before the burgers make it to the table. Ridiculous. I know there is a better way. This house has a lot going for it, and with some fairly simple attention to detail it can earn rave reviews and be worth the $$$. Since the mid eighties we have been renting vacation homes; rarely have I complained. Spacious and comfortable - needs some love.
