Good stop for over night travel

The room was very spacious with comfortable beds. The evening meal menu was very good value for money as we're the bar prices.

There is a €10 charge per person to use the spa facilities, which was not clear on Booking.com and this is excessive €5 would be more appropriate. The shower was over the bath with no grab rail making it difficult for some with limited movement.

Loved the staff.....disliked the hotel!

Without exception, all the staff in every department were THE most helpful, friendly and supportive people I have ever experienced at a hotel!

Essentially, this facility is a fitness centre BUT the pool, so central to the booking.com main page for this hotel, requires a charge of 8 Euros per 90 minute session. VERY VERY MISLEADING. Yes, an extra charge is mentioned in the small print but not the cost. Further, the constant booming noise of rhythmic music from the fitness activities did not help in terms of a relaxing respite on the terrace. Add this to the rooms which were acoustically challenged, where you could hear the toilets of ones' neighbour and the lack of water, tea or coffee in the rooms and one can only say it's such a shame because the staff were absolutely first class!

Definitely recommend for the price and comfort, though a little far from the city centre.

Nice, large room with good views over the city. Very helpful and friendly desk staff.

The hotel is a little bit of a hike from the city centre... it is doable by bus (#3), but we had to get a taxi there to figure out where it was first. The restaurant on site is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, except for breakfast.

Enjoyable

Nice sized room . Loverly staff , cosy bar area and all pet friendly . Ample car parking and easy access to the ferry port

Air conditioning would be an asset in the summer months

The rooms were simpel but okay

The spa is outdated and dirty, 3 out of the six assets were broken.

very busy hotel as there is a gym within the building so car park was full. having to pay cash and not card was a proble

location was good for the Santander Brittany ferry

I have stayed here frequently, it’s a typical easy going, friendly, clean, well priced hotel near to the city with a big gym, splash pool, sauna ....the staff are always perfect, the rooms are spotless clean, everything is perfect and I have paid much more for much less....also local cafes and bars within 5-10 mins

Staff were very helpful. Room was clean.

No cooked breakfast, or evening meal available as a weekend. No non slip mat for the bath/shower, room was cold. Only one pillow to sleep on, 2nd pillow on bed was decrotive and therefore the cover had not been changed.

Well located, affordable hotel with great staff and good meals. Brilliant for persons using the ferries.

Easy to get to. Great views over the city, Docks and airport ( when it’s not misty). Perfect location for stopping when coming off the ferry, before setting off driving to the South of Spain, and again for travelling up to the ferry the day before. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast are very good. Tasty and good value. small coffee bar open 24 hours, which we found great.

Very slight noise from the gym below, but I wouldn’t say that it disturbed us. i’m sure there are rooms available which are not located immediately above the gym.

Very professional and approachable staff, who love to talk to you in English. virtually all speak English. Large Very clean bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, with large well lit corridors leading to the rooms. Great view of Santander harbour and Airport just in front of the mountains. ( very low level of noise from both areas). lots of parking space. Really nice, tasty and simple food served, which was hot and looked good. Good choice of hot and continental breakfast at a fair price. There is a small cafe inside to hotel, where you can purchase coffee, cold drinks, and hot and cold snacks.

Can’t say we disliked anything. Thought that the Gym, Spa and pool would be noisy, (which was on the floor below our room), but we didn’t have any problems with noise, even with all the windows open.
