It was so convenient! True ski in ski out making it very easy to get the grandkids to ski school and hit the slopes. We also came back to the lodge for lunch every day saving ourselves lots of money!

Love our unit & building! All beautifully maintained. Unit had EVERYTHING we needed & we cooked & grilled our meals all week! Beds so comfy! Underground parking very nice, always a spot available & easy to access. Love huge hot tub & sauna. Ski lockers on first floor so convenient! This was our second year staying here & we are coming back again next ski season!

I highly recommend this property. The location was great - easy walk to the lift, even when doing it with two young kids. We had plenty of space and the management company was super helpful at check-in and made the process very easy.

Everything was like it was supposed to be. Description was accurate. Clean, convenient to the village, ski in/ski out. I would recommend to others.

Seven of us stayed for 3 nights in December. Location was serene, and our unit #3078 overlooked the hot tub and gorgeous evergreens separating the Ina’s green run, so nighttime snowmaking noise was minimal. The “ski in/ski out” does require some pole work. The neighboring Lone Eagle condo is slopeside, but I guess would be noisier. A couple weeks before Christmas the evergreens in the back, seen from the bedrooms and patios, were lit with large white bulbs and were magical! Inside, the condo was very very clean, but just a bit dated (some cabinetry and tile could use updating). The mattress was acceptable, but after 3 nights we were ready to get back into a more comfortable bed. The unit was generously stocked with an abundance of utensils, pots, pans, baking dishes, coffee makers, toaster, pancake griddle, etc. with lots of left over spices too. We had a young adult use the twin sleeper sofa and she said the mattress could be a bit thicker, so maybe a mattress topper could help there? There were a few humidifiers in the unit which help immensely with the dry winter air. The common areas of The Timbers was nice, but the gym was lame with one rusty Nautilus machine and one each treadmill, bicycle and elliptical. The pool was good, and the hot tub too. Ski locker was large enough for 6 pairs of skis and equipment, and that was appreciated. Overall the condo was very good for a family ski gathering.

Beautiful location in Keystone just steps from the slopes. Loved the 2 decks overlooking the forest for a peaceful stay. We appreciated the humidifiers in all the bedrooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with all that you need. Keurig and a coffee maker. We even appreciated the bathrobes which worked perfectly with the community hot tub

We had a very nice time. Besides the Keystone and surrounding area, we really enjoyed the deck, which had a nice large grill. The hot tub was once again wonderful, and the pool was heated, unlike last year.

What a WONDERFUL time we had in the Timbers condo! We saved so much money skiing to our "home away form home" for lunch each day. I'm not sure what amenity we liked best - ski locker, work out area, hot tub, sauna, steam room, or pool. Oh yeah, the washer and dryer really came in handy, too. It was perfect for our trip!

The rooms are comfortable. You have everything you need to spend an amazing days and the Mountain view it’s perfect. It’s a ski in /out.

Black mold was found and reported in two out of three shower stalls on the first day of a 5 night stay. Management Company confirmed they would take care of the issue as soon as they could. They didn’t……. Very disappointing at best. Other findings included, door stop broken and laying on the floor, heat register shrouds off, master bath sink stopper broken, main deck French door not closing properly. Do I need to go further? For what this stay cost I expected much more.

The property was exactly as described and was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There was an assortment of spices provided and it had both a coffee maker and a Kuerig. No k-cups were provided so bring them if you want to use it. Summit County Mountain Retreats were very professional and helpful. Tiimbers is our favorite property in River Run due to its proximity to the slopes and its fantastic pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. We would definitely stay here again.

Simply amazing. The only thing better than the property is the mountain. I loved this spot!!

Condo was great, everything we wanted for our group of 7. Location was awesome for ski in/ski out and walking the same way to the runs and then into town.
Bathroom floors could have been a little cleaner, we saw hair, but other than that place seemed pretty clean.
One suggestion would be to add a curtain to the little half room for some privacy if someone stays in there.
Overall, would recommend to anyone! Management was also very attentive if we needed anything.

Condo overlooks the pool and hot tub and if you look to the left you can see the quad lift and gondola. A little tricky for ski in and out (we just walked 100 yards and put on our skis). Condo has tons of amenities and easily accommodated our group of 6. Would definitely stay here again. It’s not super convenient to the River Run ski village (about a 10 min walk) but it’s also nice and quiet.
4.7
Outstanding property and condo. The setting, amenities, location and staff all made for an incredible experience. We will most certainly be back.
4.7
Amazing room with everything you need to cook and relax. Great ski area and beautiful scenery.

House was set up really nice for what we needed. I bet in the winter the ski in and out option would be really nice! House lad lots of fans, towels, soaps, blankets, pillows, dishes, cookware etc. All the stuff u need. The pool area was nice, could use a deep clean maybe down there. People left sleds and pool toys all over. Pool area closes at 10pm but we had people out there all night on a Saturday night. In summer with doors and windows open noise down there could be a problem. I'm sure winter is just fine. Nice street behind building if you walk up the hill also pretty walking path out from of building. Building was very clean and nice. Would stay again!

Overall, it was a good experience with only a couple of minor issues. In the evenings, we tried to play games at the dining room table, which had a small chandelier. The four bulbs were so dim (no rheostate to adjust light level) that we were unable to see, so we had to turn on the lights in the kitchen, over the fireplace and the lamp in the living room area. The grill, which was nice to have, had two full tanks but the igniter did not work. We were able to clean the contacts on the igniter in order get it to work.

Beautiful Property and Area
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. We had lots of space for our family of six. We spent a ton of time traveling the area and exploring different towns. Lots of grocery options in Dillion if you need anything and can't find it within a mile of the condo. The management company did a great job communicating with me the whole time about anything I needed. They also gave great recommendations of places to eat near us. Loved the pool and hot tub area and spent every evening down there.
4.7
AWSOME place, great location, however they drained the pool and hot tub without notice for half of our stay. That was a real bummer for our kids. Other than the pool issue it was wonderful.

A few minor hiccups-the toaster didn't work unless you held down the lever, no sponge in the kitchen (odd), the couch was pretty uncomfortable -partly I'm sure due to the tv being mounted so high. We moved the table to the wall and pushed the couch back so we were not looking straight up. I think a deeper couch would help, I felt like I was falling off-not a problem I guess if you're shorter. Some people may expect a Keurig too-all the rentals we have been in the last 3 years have had one. New pillows are in order. WiFi didn't work on day 4. And the elevator quit working the evening of day 4 which made hauling all our luggage down 5 flights of stairs less than fun on day 5 when we left. the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, very clean, lots of room for our family of 5. Great location to slopes, we had stayed next door in previous years, this location was a bit quieter from mountain noise (grooming machinery, lift noise, skiers in early morning). I felt a little over priced-for over $9000 for 5 days I would think all the details would be handled.

The biggest complaint we have is the lack of reasonably priced overnight parking available if you have more than one car. When you rent a three bedroom condo you are almost always going to have at least two cars. We will be looking for something next year in Breckenridge. We have always enjoyed staying at The Timbers over the years but with no reasonable overnight parking we will be looking elsewhere.
4.7
We had an amazing time with family! The location was perfect for skiing. However the heat wouldn't turn down, so it was very hot at night which made it difficult to sleep

Our group really enjoyed our stay. This unit is very accommodating with plenty of room and sleeping arrangements. Of course the location and building is one of the 2 premier properties in River Run and very convenient for access to the mountain. It’s not 100% ski in/out and does require a very short walk to and from….but hey, close enough! Cheers!

You can’t really ask for a better location as it is right on the mountain. However there is a ton of stuff that could use updating/fixing. The shower has weird black gunk building up on the floor as well as the soap holder is almost broken off the shower wall. The toilet paper holder is also almost broken off the wall. The door to the main balcony is broken and instead of fixing it, there is just a sign telling you how to work around it. The floorboards at the main entrance have nails sticking out that cut one of my friends’ foot. I cannot speak for the guest rooms since I never went in there. For as expensive as it is to stay here, we really expected more quality.

Pros: You can’t beat the location, the kitchen was stocked well, & the management company is very responsive and easy to work with
Cons: Very outdated, housekeeping and maintenance issues. Basically you are paying for location if you stay here. The showers are very small and grody. In 2 of the showers there were clumps of hair left on the wall and there were hairs on the comforter. The back door didn’t shut properly and I almost fell down upon arrival because none of the quarter round in the entryway of the unit was glued down to the ground and it just flew off when stepped on The hot tub is disgusting and was unusable one of the days because it was literally yellow and had to be pumped and cleaned. I have stayed in much better units at this same property .

The Timbers is an absolutely beautiful property. It may be the most beautiful property in all of Keystone Resort :) It's a breathtaking hotel -- especially decorated for Christmas. It's literally at the base of the River Run ski trail, so you can sit in the hot tub & watch the kids ski, haha The condo had every possible thing we might need, from extra blankets & pillows, to humidifiers in every closet, to a wine bottle opener! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We had such an incredible time on our ski vacation :) This condo is absolutely perfect -- it's 5 star, amazing.

This was a great place to stay - plenty of room, clean, had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is great - you look into the forest. If you look over your railing, you can see the pool/hot tub - sometimes there were loud people in the pool, but for the most part, it was not an issue and they enforce quiet times after 10pm. Very convenient walk to River Run Village. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay for a week in July. Nice location and quiet. Concerns were that there was a musty or mildew smell in one of the bathrooms. We had to leave the door shut. Unit also got quit warm at night so we had to leave doors opened.

The property was clean and ready for our stay. Centrally located for all the usual mountain play spots. We will be back!
