About this house rental
In this beautiful villa of 360m2, in the center of a private estate of more than 3 hectares (pines and oaks) without neighbors, ten people (eleven with an extra bed, not counting young children) can cohabit without embarrassment, find around a beautiful heated pool in the spring, dinner on a terrace (barbecue), leave without worry their children play in a vast area of meadow and undergrowth. You will discover the animation of the superb medieval city, its famous summer festival, with the blazing of the ramparts on July 14th. The Cathar sites, the high valley of the Aude or the Mediterranean coast are less than an hour away by car: our guards will advise you.
From October to May, it is also possible to rent the weekend only to organize a family party or a meeting of friends.

Our extended family (6 adults and 4 children) recently visited this beautiful villa for a week. It is a stunning property located about 10 minutes outside Carcassonne. The heated pool and outdoor space are fantastic. The accommodation is spacious and well furnished, with lots of different areas, allowing peace and quiet for older guests away from younger ones! We had an issue with one of the showers not working properly, which was frustrating, but otherwise, the house was great. One issue, which has been raised by others, is the number of wasps - there are obviously some nests around the villa, which could do with some attention. Overall, a lovely trip and we would definitely come back.

This property was just perfect for our family vacation. Everyone had a room with an ensuite bath. The kitchen was gourmet worthy with tons of dishes etc. In the midst of a heat wave the pool was a godsend. A/C would have been great but we made do with the fans.
The location was excellent. Close to so many adventures.
Thierry and Marielle(?) were there when we needed them but very unobtrusive. Thierry made sure the pool was clean at all times.
Loved this place.
Some minor suggestions— some plastic glasses for around the pool would be helpful and safer (we bought some of our own); there were a few places where a little maintenance and/or repair were required ie awning and umbrella repairs, shower temperature controls in a couple of the bathrooms (the water was actually scalding hot). It would be nice to have the neighbours large noisy dog leashed so as not to scare the children (and their grandmother).

We had a stay in the amazing house, which looked like a house from a lifestyle magazine. Well equipped kitchen, and mr. Thierry who was the contact person in the house was very quick to answer our questions. The only bad thing was that we thought that the house was equipped with air condition. There were only one air condition in the opposite side than the sleeping rooms, and it was out of function. So be aware that the nights can be very hot.
If there were air conditions in the guest rooms we would gladly come back.

We stayed at Domaine La Pinede with friends - 9 in total, 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The bedrooms are all unique in style and each has its own beautifully appointed bathroom. The house was big enough for all of us to have our own space but to also come together as a group for meals and games. The pool and outside area are lovely and we enjoyed many hours swimming, sunbathing and cooking on the bbq. The noise from the main road is noticeable outside at times but the beauty of the house and the convenient location more than make up for it. We had a fabulous time so thank you Isabelle and Thierry for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastisch mooie woning
Het huis is fantastisch. Zeer knap ingericht met alle comfort, ruimte en luxe die je je maar kan wensen. Alles zeer proper bij aankomst ook wat zeer fijn is. Je hebt ruimte in overvloed in het huis en ook de slaapkamers zijn allemaal met evenveel zorg, smaak en comfort ingericht. De keuken is zalig om in te koken en ideaal voor meerdere personen. De communicatie verliep vlot. Helaas hadden we wel veel last van muggen en ook wespen aan het zwembad maar daar kan je als eigenaar vermoedelijk niet veel aan doen. Je neemt dus best genoeg muggenspray mee. Dat was wel wat minder aangenaam. Het huis ligt dicht bij de autostrade en hiervan hoorden we wel het geruis op de dagen met veel wind. In het huis hoor je hier niets van en het stoorde ons ook niet echt. We hadden een heel aangenaam verblijf in deze top woonst!

Très grande maison, avec des chambres très joliment et recemment rénovées. Grand salon accueillant et meublé avec beaucoup de gout; Gros bémol pour la cuisine, en attente de rénovation, et qui n'offre pas d espace de rangement; Une très grande piscine, très bien entretenue, et chauffée. Le jardin est bruyant, du à la proximité de l'autoroute (on n'entend rien dans la maison). La maison est super bien équipée, dommage cependant qu'elle ne dispose que de 2 ventilateurs (portables); dommage également que le linge de toilette ne soit pas fourni. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, et le très bon accueil de Mr Valade, le gardien;

Magnifique villa à l’emplacement délicat
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la maison est très belle et ideale pour 2 familles de 5. Malheureusement il a fallu s habituer au bruit de l autoroute qui est proche de la villa donc il y a toujours un fond sonore auquel il faut s adapter. Nous aurions aimé avoir l information étant donné le tarif de location. Merci à Jacky pour son super accueil et sa disponibilité !

Excellent séjour dans cette superbe maison avec tout le confort possible dedans aussi bien que dehors. Beaucoup de recherche dans l'aménagement , beaucoup de soin apporté aux détails. Bien que nombreux l'intimité de chacun est possible. La disponibilité , l'amabilité et l'efficacité de Jacky rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. En résumé on a juste envi de revenir

Long weekend away with the Girls ...
WOW! Where do I start? This property is fantastic! There are 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite. The house is beautifully decorated, lots of quirky light fittings and ornaments. The property itself is HUGE! Very comfortable for 6 of us. There are 3 dining areas, one beside the pool (which we didn't use), there is an outside dining area as part of the house and a very large inside dining table seating 10. The bedrooms are very comfortable and again beautifully decorated as are the en-suites. The property itself was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. The outside pool area was great, plenty of seating and sunbeds and BBQ's if required.
Jacky, the Caretaker was there to meet us (I think he stays in the Gatehouse at the entrance of the property) and was very helpful. He doesn't speak English, but with our High School French we were able to converse a little. He showed us round the property, showing us round the various rooms and cupboard spaces.
You do need a car to stay here, but the beauty of it is whilst remote you are only 5 minutes to the nearest Supermarket (Geant Casino), 10 minutes into Town Centre and probably about 10 minutes to the Airport. We did the Wine Tour at Chateau De Pannautier which was very good and very reasonable and the lunch there was fantastic! All in all, despite the fact we were only there for a few days the property, the weather and the company all made it a weekend to remember.

Overall very good
We had a wonderful family holiday. The house is really decorated well, plenty of space to sit and relax. Pool is good size and well maintained. Each bedroom is designed beautifully, with en-suites.
Kitchen needs updating and there is some traffic noise. It would also have been more comfortable if there was air con. There was only 2 fans in the house, which wasn’t sufficient.
Jacky is very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this house.

An amazing Villa
This is an amazing Villa to stay at. The location is excellent being away from the town but close enough to all the amenities you need such as shops and restaurants. The owner is exceptional and so helpful. The pool was amazing and was cleaned every other day by the friendly caretaker, Jacky. The villa is enormous with plenty of room for everyone. It is clean and well cared for. Overall we felt very safe. The villa is well appointed and the ensuite is all up to date. Beds were comfy. There is a pool alarm if you are worried about young children which works well. There are 6 sun beds and other seats around the pool as well as parasols. The TV, works well and there is a DVD player. The wifi is a bit slow for watching movies so download first but it works well and is all over the villa as well as beside the pool. The kitchen is excellent with gas hob and electric oven as well as a large fridge freezer. There is a washing machine which works well and an ironing board. In every bedroom there are plenty of usefully positioned power points. There is ample parking too. I cannot recommend this villa enough and will look to return.

Perfect location - excellent house !
We have booked the premises for a group of 9 people incl. one dog. Booking was no issue, since the owner is very quick with answering any requests.
All bedrooms are located on one level and go off the long corridor shown in the pictures. All is well insulated and heat does not really pose a problem at night. The rooms are all individually decorated, no room is like the other. However, not all rooms have the same size but still all are far big enough for two people. The kitchen is very well equipped, has a four flame gas oven plus a two flame electrical oven.
The pool is very large and is being cleaned by Jacky every day.
The reception by the premisese caretaker Jacky was very nice. He explained all details and gave us a lot of hints regarding short trips and restaurants. Jacky can always be contacted since he is living in a separate house at the entrance to the premises. Whenever we had a question he was available. Jacky is definitely the „heart“ of the house.

Everything we expected - and more!
We used La Pineda as a base for family and friends to stay on the occasion of our son’s wedding in Carcassone, and it was ideal. Starting with the warm welcome and introduction from caretaker Jacky, to the quality of the accommodation and the superb outside space, everyone fully enjoyed the property. Especially the pool as the temperature soared to over 40 degrees! The response from the owner to a request was swift and satisfactory, and reinforced the quality of service at the house. Overall, nothing negative in any respect.

Belle maison et belle propiété mais dommage avec la proximité de l'autoroute
Belle maison avec des chambres modernes et spacieuses ainsi que les SB. Dommage que le linge de toilette ne soit pas fourni ainsi que des serviettes pour la piscine au regard du tarif demandé. Le petit plus serait de mettre à disposition des produits de toilette.
Jacky le gardien est charmant et toujours disponible.
Le point négatif est la proximité de l'autoroute. Le site Abritel ne communiquant pas l'adresse précise, si vous n'êtes pas de la région vous ne situez pas l'autoroute aussi près.

Fabuleux.
Le gite a tenu ses promesses au-delà de nos attentes. Propreté+++, situation excellente, à proximité de Carcassonne, un cadre magique dans une forêt d'arbustes méditerranéens, des chambres neuves, décorées avec goût, salles de bain extra. La pièce commune est tout simplement divine. Tous les éléments en cuisine sont à disposition.
Bref, un séjour enchanteur dans ce domaine avec un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel.
Une mention spéciale est à accorder à Jacky, le gardien du domaine. Accueil plus que chaleureux, disponibilité à toute épreuve, une adresse pour un cassoulet, sublime, demandez-la lui. Sa présence, son abord chaleureux sont un plus, plus pour passer un séjour formidable. Merci Jacky.

Superbe propriété
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique propriété. La maison est super confortable et dotée de chambres et sanitaires dignes d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le jardin agrémenté d'une très belle piscine, d'un coin salon et d'un coin à manger est un vrai havre de paix. De plus, l'accueil par le gardien des lieux, Monsieur Jacky, fût très chaleureux (jamais avare d'un service ou de bons conseils).

For the first holiday ever there was no rows over who got which bedroom as they were all equally special! The living area is spacious and bright with views out to the lovely pool and beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped and also offered a separate entrance which was perfect for bringing in the groceries! The garden was absolutely breath taking. The pool area offered plenty of seating arrangements including a very comfy couch, an eating area and plenty of sun loungers. We really enjoyed playing table tennis in to the later hours of the day. A short stroll to the entrance of the property and one is greeted with a view of the magnificent La Cite which is a MUST to visit! Last but not least this property offers the most PERFECT location for this area. Carcassonne airport is a mere 10 minutes away and you can find yourself in La Cite in less than 15 minutes. While being so close to these amenities, the villa lies in restful countryside, surrounded by vineyards and meadows ideal for walks/cycles. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. We hope to return to this delightful villa in the very near future and hopefully for a longer visit!
