About this villa rental
The villa is located on Ladera del Mar which is one of the most prestigious urbanisations in Nerja which is immaculately kept with beautiful floral displays and has a fantastic communal pool and surrounding grounds.
Our property itself is a beautifully furnished 4 bedroom villa with its own private pool, gardens and AMAZING sea views to the east, south and west. The villa is positioned to received the sun ALL day. The sea can be viewed from ALL of the bedrooms, lounge and kitchen, which makes its fairly unique. There is a roof terrace off the master bedroom which offers wonderful sea and mountain views and is great for stargazing late at night. We have safe off street parking for several cars behind locked gates. We have a large games/cinema/play room providing entertainment when the sun gets too hot.
Sleeping 8-10 people, the property is ideal for large groups of friends or family. We have lots of facilities for children. There are 100s of films for young and old. There is wifi, a high quality table football and pool inflatables for older children. For our younger guests we have 2 cots, 3 highchairs, a play area in the games/cinema room with lots of toys including dolls with dressing up clothes, a blackboard, Duplo, a train set, a fire station, cars, lots of games, books, infant toys, smaller pool inflatables, beach balls, buckets and spades etc. .
In addition to the 4 bedrooms there are also 2 folding beds which can be used in 3 of the 4 bedrooms or in the lounge where there is also a metal action sofa bed.
This is a year round holiday location. There is air conditioning for the summer months and heating for the cooler evenings of the winter. All of the bedrooms have hairdryers. The utility room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board and second fridge freezer (which is handy for larger families and well located for poolside drinks and ice creams!)
The nearest beach is within easy walking distance (5/10 minutes) with bars and restaurants. The charming town of Nerja is a short bus ride (1 euro, hourly except during siesta), a 5 minute drive or a 25/30 minute beach/road walk away. Nerja is lovely, full of charming shops, restaurants, nightclubs and beaches. A taxi is around 6/7 euros in the day and 8/9 euros in the evening.
Malaga airport is 45 minutes away, a water park and golf is 20 minutes and the ski slopes of the spectacular Sierra Nevada just 75 minutes. There is plenty of recreational, historic and cultural attractions very close by including the fabulous Caves of Nerja.
Please note that in order to receive the fantastic views the villa is at the top of a hill and has several steps up from the car park area. Therefore, it MAY NOT be suitable for people with impaired mobility.
We highly recommend taking out travel insurance at the time of booking in case of illness as we do not offer a refund on any monies paid if you need to make a cancellation.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The accommodation was terrific, first class and top notch. There was more than enough room for all 8 of us. A touch of class which we all enjoyed. Our family ventured out to Nerja on 3 occassions, you really do need a car, however the local taxi service is efficient and cheap €5 each way. The pool is fantastic which we all took advantage of. I would definately book this villa, you will ha e a smile on your face all holoday 5 star plus. Amazing

Beautiful villa with amazing pool area and stunning sea views. The accommodation has everything you need, communication with the owners beforehand was perfect and thanks to John for meeting us on arrival, very helpful and friendly. The walk up the hill to the villa is steep which we walked a few times but generally got the bus from the bottom of the hill into Nerja and a taxi back. Our group was two families of four and we all had a fantastic holiday.

We had a great time in this lovely villa - very spacious and extremely well equipped. Comfy beds and lots of outdoor areas to use in a beautifully looked after garden. Great area to explore too with lots of nice restaurants, beaches and things to do to keep everyone happy. Pool was great too! Thankyou!

The villa is beautifully decorated and furnished. Well designed space giving separate areas for large groups. Really well equipped with everything you need for indoor and outdoor dining. Spacious with the master suite at the top providing additional privacy. We all enjoyed time in and by the pool.

From the word go out hosts could not have been more helpful . The Villa is all it said in the description and more and the best equipped place we have ever stayed in . Perfect for a partial self catering holiday with family ranging from baby to over 80 . Although possibly not suitable if you had mobility problems . A few bars in walking distance and hundreds in Nerja . Tony’s recommendations are well worth trying particularly the tapas .

We had a wonderful holiday in this amazing villa, which has incredible views and is in a really peaceful urbanisation in Nerja. It is well equipped and the pool was wonderful to cool off in. Nerja town centre is easily accessible by bus/taxi, with many great restaurants to choose from. The communication from Tony throughout the booking process was excellent, as was the greeting and check in from John when we arrived at the villa. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a lovely part of Spain.

Great villa - well equipped for kids with gates on stairs, high chairs and toy room. Self Check in and check out was super easy and property manager very helpful and quick with feedback. Additional access to communal pool was welcome during the week. The views are stunning, this brings a big hill and means driving everywhere is the only downfall.
Excellent beach restaurant close by and a short trip in Nerja recommended

Stayed at Tony & Toni's villa for my wifes 50th Birthday.
The villa is immaculate and has everything you need home from home and thd views were out of this world.
Tony was there to welcome us evan though we were early and he evan went out of his way to transport some of us to a local bar with a swimming pool and the rest to the supermarket to get supplies and waited for us.
Bars nearby which was a short stroll at the bottom of the hill.
Couldn't of asked for a better place to celebrate with all our family including 2 small grandchildren.
Bar 34 in Nerja is a must with amazing views and excellent staff.
Downstairs cinema and play room was a great added bonus to keep everyone entertained.

Fantastic 2 weeks in April. The weather provided an unexpected bonus with a record-breaking heatwave, but even if the weather had been normal for April, we would still be saying we had a fantastic time. Nerja is a little(?) gem and the villas location, just outside Nerja in a quite urbanisation, for us was perfect. We drove down from the U.K. and this made a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area, including Frigliana, Competa and visit to San Miguel Castle in Almuñécar. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful villa with spectacular views and gardens! Having a toddler in our group made the hill an obstacle so we ended up taxing everywhere. She loved the pool but the number is stairs were a little worrisome! Would happily return.

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at this beautiful and very comfortable villa, with amazing panoramic sea views! The villa, garden and swimming pool were an absolute delight and the children also thoroughly enjoyed the playroom toys and TV movies. We also enjoyed visiting the lovely communal swimming pool on several occasions. Thank you Tony for sharing your villa and providing lots of information of the local area; and thank you John, from Burriana Properties, for being so helpful during our stay. We have made some very precious family holiday memories!

Just finished a fabulous 2 week stay in the mist amazing villa. 2 parents and 4 teen/20s children stayed and had the best time. The villa was beautiful and of the best quality and the pool area was to die for! Tony and John made the booking and stay so easy, we were even allowed to enter the property much earlier on our arrival day. Nerja is a gorgeous place but very hilly, we certainly worked off a lot of the amazing food we ate! Just the most amazing 2 weeks in a little slice of heaven.

This is a fantastic villa, with great hosts and local support. Tony & Toni provided a really generous welcome pack and lots of information on local restaurants. The views are amazing, the bedrooms are all really comfortable with super bathrooms, and the kitchen is really well equipped. Everything is super clean and extremely welcoming. The games and cinema room has loads of games for young and old alike, and the pool is beautiful! Its really difficult to find anything to complain about, although I am glad not to have to walk up the hill because we had hired a car!!!
I have to say that this was the best villa we have stayed at in recent years. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful property, spacious, bright & airy, outstanding views everything in the booking description & more!! We rented for 10days to attend a wedding in Nerja, it is the only property I have rented in years that I was sorry to leave to go home. The steps took a little getting used to at first especially carrying suitcases in but after that chore was over, we relaxed & enjoyed every minute. The villa is equipped with everything that you would need from preparing a cup of tea to a gourmet dinner. I cannot praise this place enough for a very very relaxing time, so many terraces to sit and relax, or to hide from the intense heat, lovely pool area, fabulous games/cinema room, it was just beautiful. Tony sent very clear driving instructions to get there & information pack & John was very welcoming & helpful on our arrival & if we needed him for anything he replied straight away. All in all one of the best villa holidays we have had!! will definitely try & return sometime!! Thank you so much Tony & John PS one slightly negative comment from my daughter - blackout blinds would be so useful in the bedrooms especially when trying to get little ones to sleep when it’s still bright outside. Thank you once again for letting us enjoy your lovely home

The villa is absolutely stunning. 5 Stars all the way. You have sea views from every room. The balconys’ are a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.
It was great having your own private pool which was a perfect size. Plenty of sun beds too! The garden was also very well kept the flowers were so beautiful.
The attention to detail in the villa was fantastic, the kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of utensils/ crockery/glasses
The beds were very comfortable. The living area has beautiful leather comfy furniture.
We all just loved it.
The master bedroom is on the top floor with a beautiful large en-suite, so it was great to have your own privacy
Myself and my husband didn’t walk into Nerja as we thought the hill was too steep, but my daughters and sons did a few times. Whereas we got taxis in and out. However there is a bus a the end of the hill that runs every hour.
John from Burrianna Properties was a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. He called to clean the pool and check if we needed anything.
The owners were lovely to deal with also and responded to our emails very promptly.

Toni and Tony..We had the occasion, the company, the location and we were so lucky to have your beautiful home to create the perfect memories during our fortnight stay.
It's unbelievable..panoramic sea views, picturesque surroundings, fabulous garden with both terraces and balconies for sun or shade, accessorised by a fabulous pool. And that's just outside!!
Inside , it surpasses many high class hotels. It is spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen leading to a covered dining area.We enjoyed several outdoor meals and not a mozzie in sight. We chatted and relaxed in the spacious sitting area with its beautiful views.
There was everything in this home. We were delighted with a very generous welcome pack on arrival. The ' play zone' next to the pool would delight anyone. The bedrooms were luxurious and the litmus test of a sound night's sleep fulfilled all my dreams.
We hopped on the blue bus to Nerja . Easy peasy!Don't forget your mask. We didn't have a car but there are taxis close to Mercadona, Calle Miguel after shopping (7.50 euros).It has lovely fresh fish and a bakery. We bought smaller items at Cullen's ,Calle Castilla Perez on our way back to bus stop at Hotel Riu Monica.
As for the famous hill.' no hay problema' . Six of us are over 65 ...we even walked in and out several days.
We were spoilt for choices eating out in Nerja.. We loved the fresh paella at the chiringuito at the end of Burriana and the tapas fish bar Rodondo, Calle Gloria. We ate group meals at Restaurante La Puntilla ,Bacchus and Olivia. The Budda bar terrace didn't disappoint and locally Avalon and Mirador de Guiche were lovely too. The 'pinchos' at the Biznaga ,near the Balcon ,were a big hit all served by the ever patient camarera

The villa is large and well accomdating for large families or groups we had 7 of us in the villa.
The equipment within the villa is good with plenty of kitchen utensils etc and a good selection of books toys and games for all ages.
The hills leading to the villa are steep and you need to be fit to walk these on a regular basis. The description does say this but be warned if you're not very active these hills are a killer. My parents in their early 70s couldn't manage the hills.
There are some part of the villas that are in need of an update but this should not put people off.
The major down side we found was that there isn't enough hot water for more than 4 max 5 people to have a warm shower. Obviously the villa sleeps more than 5 people so you need to plan your showers or wait over an hour for it to reheat.

This property is everything it looks and more. In 20 years of renting we’ve never had better communication from the owners, from our enquiry to coming home they were brilliant on keeping us informed. The house had every comfort you needed and a magnificently stocked kitchen. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this beautiful villa in Nerja.

We had a wonderful stay in Nerja. The unspoiled Costa del sol. The views from every terrace are fantastic. The gardens are breathtaking! The home is exceptionally clean and well supplied. The pool was crystal clear and a perfect temperature.. John, the property manager was very attentive. Driving up the mountainous roads and downtown was very challenging. May take more taxis, busses and trains next time.

Lovely property with amazing views. If you have a family I would advise you need a car, however the bus services are good. It's just the hill to contend with but that's a small price to pay for the beautiful views. Lovely hamper on arrival.

We have just come back from a family holiday after spending a week in this fabulous villa with stunning views. We were a family of 9 6 adults and 3 children aged 15,12 and 2 we all had a fantastic time the villa is outstanding and very homely tit is really well equipped and there was plenty of room for all of us and we felt very comfortable.
There is a lovely cinema and games room in the basement which is a real bonus although we did not use it because the weather was so lovely we were happy to enjoy the pool and outside area.
Nerja itself is a lovely town and has some nice bars and restaurants we did not have a car but it has a very good bus service which goes into town for a euro yo can also get a bus to all the surrounding tourist attractions like the Caves ,Water park ,Granada the taxi are also very reasonable between 8 and 10 euro.
Toni and Tony were very helpful before we left in sending us lots of information about the villa and area it is a very beautiful home. John the agent in Spain is very friendly and helpful he arranged the airport transfer for us which was there waiting for us and was on time for our departure we also had a late flight home so John arranged for us to leave our luggage at the villa for the day which we really appreciated. We also had a lovely get you in pack which was a lovely touch with something for all of us.

Wonderful family holiday made easy with everything you could want in this fantastic place.The size of the whole place is magnificent, from the home cinema, games room below the private swimming pool, to the master suite on the top floor.On arrival the Welcome pack really did make you feel welcome, the villa is so tastefully decorated and well maintained, the beds and pillows being especially comfortable! Before our holiday began we were being taken care of by the owners Mr and Mrs Barnett and John Trevelyan from Burrianna properties,who sorted out taxis to meet us at the airport, and even emailed me with opening times for the local shops. We were a party of 6 with a 2 yr old and an 11 week old baby, the pool was wonderful with loads of pool toys for children and adults! we didn't hire a car this time but taxis were readily available.,so ..if it's a fun filled family holiday or a relaxing time with a group of friends, look no further.

I have just returned from a great relaxing holiday with my husband. Toni and Tony the owners of this property could not have been more helpful and efficient during the booking process. John the agent in Nerja was also exceptionally helpful and friendly. The previous reviews are all spot on. Villa and views spectacular. Villa location was perfect for us. The urbanisation in which the villa is located is well maintained with pretty landscaping and it is so quiet. A car is not essential as you can get a taxi into Nerja for around 8 Euro, we did this several times but there is a bus available for 1 Euro if you want a cheaper option. We had a hire car and can recommend trips to Ronda, The Alhambra in Granada which are day trips or local villages of Vinuela which has a hotel (The Vinuela Hotel) which overlooks a lake. Frigiliana which is just down the road and Maro Caves. Competa up in the mountains is a nice drive out if you are not bothered by climbing the mountain roads in the car! However, Nerja itself has everything on offer. The ladies clothes shop in the Balcon by the church is a find. It looks tiny but the main of the shop is under ground and is worth a visit if you need some retail therapy! The Spanish locals are really friendly, Restaurant 34 (or was it 42!!) is expensive compared to most local restaurants but is well worth the money. We also enjoyed the various tapas bars but not the one by the Church which caters for the tourists not the Spanish. There are too many good bars and restaurants to mention. Beaches are also excellent, we preferred the small beach in Maro but if you are looking something with more facilities then Burriana Beach has it all. Try Ayo's for Paella on the beach. On the road back to the villa from Nerja and before the Avalon roundabout on the left hand side there is a there is a turning into a car park which leads to a beach and there are two beach bar restaurants which do also do great Paella and tapas, the traditional way. We have visited Nerja several times and will definitely be back. Nerja retains it's traditional Spanish identity. We have recommended this villa to our family and friends. Enjoyed a great week here with friends at the end of April. A fabulous villa tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped. It has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. The views from the balcony and pool area are stunning! The villa is in a quite position yet within easy reach of Nerja either on foot (approx 45 mins flat walk) by bus or taxi( approx 8 euros) Nerja is a lovely resort with many bars and restaurants catering for every budget. For a special treat try restaurant 34 which Toni kindly booked for my birthday celebration. I would highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning in the future.

We had a fabulous girls' week at this beautiful villa. It is stylishly furnished, comfortable and quiet with many personal touches for your comfort and enjoyment,. There is a cinema room downstairs, which we didn't use, but what a great feature for any youngsters. The villa has stunning views over the sea which are truly breathtaking and amazing sunsets that cover the entire horizon. It is an uplifting setting (and romantic had we had our partners with us!).
Nerja is easily accessible by bus or taxi but we walked there almost every day about 35 minutes; it isn't far and we enjoyed the exercise . Nerja has a lot to offer being a charming town, shops aplenty, great tapas bars and restaurants (all prices). We enjoyed all the restaurants we visited but No.34, we all thought ,was exceptional.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ladera del Mar and will happily return and recommend.
A special 'thank you' to Toni and Tony , the owners,....it was a memorable trip for all the right reasons.

I stayed in the villa with 3 friends for 5 nights at the end of April. The villa is stunning with amazing views.
The bedrooms are all beautifully furnished with extremely comfortable beds.
The dining terrace is perfect for evening drinks. The kitchen has everything you need, even a funnel for filling small bottles of water from the large bottles we bought!
The pool area is spacious with plenty of sun beds which have lovely thick mattresses.
As the the weather was perfect during our stay we didn't use the cinema/games room, but it is perfect for families if the weather isn't good.
The resort of Nerja which can be reached on foot or by the local bus or taxi is very pretty with lots of great bars and restaurants.
Thank you Toni and Tony for such a wonderful place to spend our holiday, hopefully I will return for a family holiday.

Well what a great week we had at Casa Toni. The Villa was superb, the view was to die for and all the facilities and equipment offered were second to none. You will want for nothing, trust me. The owners were great all the way through the booking possess, the local management company solved our only minor problem without any fuss.
Nerja was a fabulous surprise, there was a fiesta on with music, fireworks and dancing in the streets, full of Spanish people and friendly tourists like us. We all said that we would defiantly return to Nerja one day.
Oh, and the fish soup at the La Restinga beach, just down the at the local beach, OMG, I would go back for that alone!

This villa was recommended to me and I must say it was the best holiday we have ever had.From the minute we arrived we relaxed and couldn't believe what a comfortable feel the villa had whilst also having the wow factor.An unexpected welcome pack (including wine) was a lovely thoughtful touch and sums up the facilities which were second to none, and there is every home comfort you could need , a lot of thought has gone into making this such an amazing holiday.The pool area is fantastic and we made full use of the pool and enjoyed the peace and quiet.The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless ,very elegant and we slept like a dream as the mattresx was so comfy.At the bottom of the hill is a bus that takes you into nerja for €1 where you can eat cheaply or pay restaurant prices, but whichever you do, you cannot fail to be impressed by the atmosphere as you walk around the streets, a lovely town , perfect for couples or families.All in all a perfect holiday will be booking again for next year.A big thank you to Tony and Toni the owners who have worked hard (and succeeded) to make sure you never forget your time here.

On arrival at the villa, everything was spotlessly clean. The standard of the furnishings were incredibly high and the villa has everything you could possibly need including a great coffee machine and a lovely ice bucket! The bedrooms were all a very good size, comfy beds and plenty of hangers in the wardrobes. The pool area was spacious enough for us all. The villa, set in a quiet neighbourhood, offers amazing views, so a favourite pastime was sitting on the terrace looking out to sea. The kids loved the cinema room and the table football.
The manger, John was very efficient replacing the toaster and the microwave and the owners were incredibly helpful when I was asking for recommendations of restaurants to go to for a birthday celebration.
Nerja itself, is a lovely town and offers some amazing restaurants, bars and shops. If you want a special meal, head to Restaurant 34 where we had their speciality. Lovely setting, food and service. We went in to town every other night, the cost of a taxi is approx. 8 euros each way. You can walk in to town, taking approx. 30 mins. The local beach at the bottom of the hill is great, a lot of Spaniards tend to go here and there are 2 restaurants here.
We seemed to frequent the supermarkets! We tried 3 of them - Lidl, Supersol & Mercadona.
We had an amazing holiday which we can't recommend highly enough. This is the best villa we have stayed in and we hope to return.
