We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and beautiful VRBO rental. The place is perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nature. Cécile, the host, was super easy to communicate with and always quick to respond.
The location is fantastic for exploring the area. We loved visiting the Pont du Gard aqueduct—perfect spot for a picnic by the water. Also, don't miss dining at La Maison Penchée. The food is delicious, and their outdoor patio is lovely.
Overall, this rental is a gem. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway and as a great base for local adventures. Thanks, Cécile!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little property. Cecile was very welcoming and easy to communicate with in French or English, and very accommodating with regards to arranging arrival and departure details. The property had everything we needed for a few relaxing days in the countryside. The little town just down the road (under 5 minutes by car) had a grocery store and all the other shopping we needed to cook for ourselves during our visit. The property was clean and things were as described in the listing. Thanks, Cecile, for such a lovely few days in the French countryside! :)

The house was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 4 day break.
Cecile was an excellent host, warm, welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations of places to visit.
It was our first visit to Provence, just perfect and we hope to come back.
Thank you Cecile :)

Lovely peaceful setting near many wonderful towns in Provence and beyond. Quiet, serene atnosphere with welcoming owner & all the creature comforts made our stay very easy, with al fresco dining & a big private yard for children to play - amidst alll the charm and beauty of a working Proovençal farm.

An ideal location (a working vineyard/farm near Tarascon), a perfect, elegant little house and a generous, welcoming host in. Cécile. As a base from which to explore some of the best Provence has to offer, it’d be hard to beat. And if you’re looking for a place to just stop for a while and breathe in the beauty… this is it. We didn’t want to leave.

A beautiful property, situated perfectly for exploring Provence. Cecile was a lovely and welcoming host and provided some good recommendations - we particularly enjoyed the Vineyards in Aix en Provence and our trips to Saint-Remy and Les Baux-de-Provence, We would love to come back earlier in the year when the Lavender fields are in bloom!

Beautiful spot in Provence.
Cecile, our property manager was wonderful. She speaks English, very kind, helpful with all our questions. The property is a delight…a large yard with comfortable furniture, olive trees and numerous rose and lavandar plantings. Hope to be back soon!

Lovely stay in the Provence county side
We had a wonderful time on the property. Cecile was a most wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed and also was very helpful in finding us local restaurants and shops. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with items to make food with and most important, make coffee. Sitting outside sipping wine and watching the sunset was most magnificent! Thank you very much.

Outstanding base to experience Provence
We spent a wonderful week in August 2020 on this property, which is steeped in history being part of an estate that was the hunting lodge of the royals of Provence from neighbouring Tarascon. The house is part of historic, old buildings but has all the modern amenities including a well equipped kitchen and air-conditioning, which made our stay most comfortable. The house is located on a working farm surrounded by vineyards, fruit orchards, olive trees and sunflower fields. Every morning we were treated to the most amazing sunrise. We looked forward to waking up at dawn and enjoying the splash of colours every morning as the sun rose - each morning providing a brilliant new spectacle. The property is very well located with easy access to many quintessential Provence towns like Arles, Uzes and Saint Remy as well lovely hilltop villages like Le Baux-de-Provence and the Camargue. The owner, Cécile, and her wonderful family made us feel welcome and allowed us to experience a slice of life on a farm in rural Provence.

Amazing farm house!
We had a great time in this property, it is a very unique experience that makes you feel more involved in the Provençal culture! The views from the farm give you a feeling of being inside a Van Gough painting!

Peaceful and Tranquil
This property is a great location and proximity to Arle, Nime and Pont du Gard. All kinds of Roman ruins are just a few Km away. It was wonderful staying on a working farm and Vineyard and our host Cecile was welcoming and very helpful.
The location is so peaceful and tranquil with olive trees just off the patio and birds of all kinds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot to explore Provence
Beautifully presented. Quiet location . Well equipped gite. Our host Cecile was very hospitable and offered us suggestions of things to do in the area. Loved the location overlooking the vineyards - all amenities such as supermarkets etc close by. We were able to explore the region and then return to our temporary ‘home’ in the evening to enjoy a dinner with the amazing food and wine that the local markets have to offer. A far better experience than staying in a hotel! Merci infinment Cecile!

Lovely escape in Provence
Cecile was a delightful host and made our stay very special. The communication was very smooth and the property was as described. Unfortunately we were there during a terrible heat wave, but were so pleased to find the thick stone walls kept the home quite cool. In addition, there are three air conditioners in the living areas that work very efficiently. The patio area was lovely for having dinner and a glass of wine at night, our kids enjoyed the yard. Beautiful home close to many great little towns (Avignon, St. Remy, Arles, etc). Thanks, Cecile!

Perfect slice of Provence
This is quintessential Provence: gorgeous old stone walls (but modern and comfortable inside), and surrounded by open fields. The location is great; it's quiet and rural, but only a few minutes drive to town with supermarkets and restaurants, and central to Arles, Avignon, Camargue, etc. Could not have asked for a better home base.

Location: perfect for day trippers to various attractions of the region - Avignon, Arles, Orange, the villages of Luberon, Cote du Rhone wineries, even Aix. Drivings to these places are picturesque, full of orchards and vineyards and other agricultural establishments. Google map works very well mostly.Place: the B&B is exactly as I expected from looking at the photos, and then there is the pleasant surprise of the vineyard and historical buildings around it. I watch the sunrise every morning from the kitchen window, and the moonlit fields from my bedroom window. The place is fully equipped from kitchen to laundry, and we got free bottle of wine and juice upon arrival. Note the bedrooms are on the second floor while the toilet on the first, with one flight of stairs separating them.Host: couldn't say enough how gracious Cecile is, and the helpful recommendations she gave. She lives next door so is always available when needed. she is the reason this place gets 5-star from us. BTW, for those of you speaks Chinese, she's fluent in that as well! The place is full of wonderful art works by her husband, really worth checking out.

A slice of heaven in Provence!
Everything about our stay on Cecile's family's vineyard was magical. Cecile is a generous and gracious host who went out of her way to welcome us (for example, greeting us late at night after travel delays caused a midnight arrival and driving us back to the train station the next morning to retrieve a rental car).
The vineyard is glorious and the cottage is wonderfully appointed -- we were so thrilled with the setting and the accommodations that we asked Cecile if we could stay on for two more days. The grapes were being harvested and it was a joy to witness the process.
The location is perfect and centrally located for so much of what we planned to do. We could not have been happier. Merci, Cecile!

Charming farmhouse in beautiful Provence
We stayed a whole week in this charming farmhouse, once owned by a king in the 16th century and used as his hunting lodge. The farm is 170+ acres, and is still producing grapes, apricots and various grains. Our gracious hostess, Cecile, was kind enough to give us a bottle of the delicious rose wine they produce there. Although the accommodations are simple, there is air conditioning, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor patio (shaded in the afternoon) is a delightful place to enjoy a glass of wine. Cecile could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The nearest town is Tarascon, and there's not much going on there, but it's an easy drive to Arles (25 minutes) for the incredible Saturday market, or Avignon (20 minutes in the other direction) for the tourist sites and dining opportunities. We would highly recommend this property for those who would just like to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence.
