Location. View of the pedestrian shopping street. The little tourist train stops right in front and will take you across the bridge into Tui, Spain and back for 4.50 Euro. You can hop off, visit Tui, and return later. There’s no breakfast but many restaurants and cafés nearby. There is an expresó machine at the entry to make your own.

Great location, centre of town with nice view of battlements and towards Tui. Quite, clean with comfortable bed, smallish shower but ok. Window in bathroom. Good value place to stay.

Clean, well-equipped, the staff was nice, and the location was fantastic.

After 30 minutes of waiting at the front desk we asked a shop keeper below what to do and they directed us to the owner who also owns a little shop down the street–this would not normally be an issue, we just wish that these instructions were given to us from the beginning. Both phone numbers do not work.

Right in the main Street

Right in the centre of this pretty town Parking was no problem. Clean and comfortable. Heating in the bathroom was a bonus.

La ubicación. Y la relación calidad precio. Estaba limpio y la habitación buena.

La humedad que habia en las escaleras y entrada. Las almohadas muy blandas y habia otras sin funda.

Great stay in the Camino

Perfect place for a stopover on the Camino. Surprise to be staying in the old fort - really special little village

Stairs up to accommodation- ok for us but if you have mobility issues could be a problem. Or if you have heavy bags.

A wonderful village full of activity and life with quite typical and very beautiful architecture.

Nice clean room and bathroom. The room was upstairs with great views to the countryside with a double bed which was a bit small and hard for us but ok for 3 nights. The room was quite small and there was no fridge or kettle. The staff made the room every day and they were very polite and friendly. The hotel is situated right between the two old towns so it was very handy to everything.

A small fridge and kettle would have been nice to have. A mattress topper would also be good to soften the bed a bit.

Excellent room in great location

Great location and situated in a beautiful old building. Clean, comfortable and just what we needed.

Very limited facilities eg nowhere to make a hot drink or get any washing done.

Great location, very clean and comfortable stay. Easy no hassle check in and out. Great value for money. Close to everything you need in fortaleza with some fantastic views and walks. Would highly recommend!
