Great place and location but a few improvements needed

The location is fantastic and the house is in good condition overall will all that the basics you'll ever need. A lot of room for storage around the house is great - we are a family of 3 and didn't even use a third of it.

Some things could use replacing or improving - among the main ones are: water pressure in all taps is very weak, main bedroom bed head is peeling, mattress is too soft (although that's personal taste), some fixtures need maintenance (eg. bathroom taps).

I enjoyed my stay here.

I enjoyed my stay at the Rubicon. There is a locked gate to the front which meant I could leave my front door open. I don't think there is A/C so this was really nice to get any breeze coming through the apartment. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with a large fridge freezer which actually gets cold! There is plenty of seating available with a table out the front as well as another in the lounge. The main bedroom was very comfortable with a good amount of hanging space in the wardrobes. I was on my own so felt I had a lot of room to spread out. Like the fact that there were two sinks in the bathroom and a nice walk in shower with pretty good water pressure. Great to have some cleaning materials as well as washing up liquid! There were also brushes available to sweep through if I needed. Although not actually on the beach at playa chica, it is very close, and very close to the local convenience store.

Not much, really. Little things like if you have a dispenser for hand soap, why not provide some? The only disappointing thing for me on this holiday is that you cannot control your neighbours! The young child next door was rather noisy and their poor parents had to calm them with many renditions of baby shark. I realise this is no fault of the owners and could have happened anywhere, but it is the luck of the draw.

this apartment is a "Little Gem"..we had a great holiday and the apartment played a big part in that

This was the first time we stayed here, and we were very happy with the apartment. the host was very helpful, checking in before and during holiday (he helped me get my phone fixed after it got ran over) the apartment is modern and plenty of space, fairly good double bed, spare back room that would take a child or tow, nice bathroom with good big shower.. the kitchenette is well equipped, we cooked had lunch there every day and a few evening meals... nice space out front for sun, with a table for meals. Great WiFi. Big Smart TV with Netflix, there's even two beach chairs and a parasol. in a quiet location, but so close to so much, especially the beach... we will come back

Good price to performance ratio, spacious, nice patio, close to a small but nice sand beach.

We had a rented car and this was a perfect starting point - every place of Lanzarote was maximum of a 50 minutes drive from here. Beach is just about 100 m away from the apartment, together with a nice restaurant/bar next to it. Apartment itself is nice and spacious, with equipped kitchen and nice patio. Parking is ok, sometimes we had to look for a parking space for a few minutes, but it was ok.

Not very comfortable and rather small bed. No blinds in windows. Not a lot of air circulation in apartment even with the fan turned on - so even with just about 22 °C outside it was rather hot inside and we had to sleep with a fan turned on us.

Perfect apartment in a lovely area.

Great location and lovely apartment. Well designed, it stays cool even on the hottest day. Very comfortable bed and well equipped, it had everything we needed. Lovely outdoor area to sit out in and very quiet.

Lovely little apartment a couple of minutes walk from the beach

Lovely little apartment just a short walk to the beach where we were scuba diving with friends. Big table out on the patio meant we could have our friends over for meals. Key box meant we could leave the keys when we were out diving which was also useful

Managed to accidentally lock ourselves out when the wind slammed the door shut with the key stuck in the lock on the inside. The owner was super helpful and found a professional to come and sort it even though it was a Sunday morning.

Paraiso Rubicon - PDC

Great location - 2 minute walk away from Playa Chica. Few minutes walk to harbour / Old Town. Five minutes walk to start of the Strip. Secure, well appointed self contained unit within long established area of Puerto del Carmen.

Ventilation was poor and we relied upon fans to provide cool air to circulate. An air conditioning unit would greatly enhance what is a terrific property.

Just Fabulous!

This is a fantastic place to stay for a beach/diving holiday. Excellent location, just a 2 minute stroll to Playa Chica or 5 mins to Playa Grande. Close to old and new towns with shops, bars and restaurants all within minutes yet it was a lovely quiet place to stay. The property itself was spotlessly clean. 2 good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Bathroom had double sinks and walk-in shower. Lovely well-equipped kitchen with comfy sofas and large flat screen TV. Spanish channels only but this didn’t bother us as we don’t watch much TV on holidays and could get Netflix for those stay in lazy evenings. WiFi was really good too. Basics supplied too like salt, pepper, sugar, toilet roll, cleaning products. Not all places do this so it’s good to know. Also plenty of extra towels and bed linen supplied. There’s a washing machine, iron and ironing board too. Cleaning service available for an extra charge but we did our own cleaning and bed change. The host Alberto was lovely. He kept in good contact with us and answered any queries promptly. Overall I higher recommend this gorgeous bungalow for a couple or small family. We will absolutely return. The photos don’t do this lovely place justice. It looks much better in person.

The only thing I would change would be maybe to have a less noisy fan or even better, a ceiling fan. No air con so the nights are warm but the bungalow itself stays quite cool during the day. I personally don’t like air con and prefer the breeze from a decent fan or natural air flow.

We booked this place for it's location and to be on our own so we were very happy, the distance to the beach and the little shop was perfect for us. The short walk to the old town was ideal.
