Staff very friendly and helpful.
We walked down to Laredo and found an excellent restaurant El Faro.
A place named “Gastronomiquo” should have had quality meals available, not just salads for an evening arrival.
They shouldn’t need air fresheners to mask an earthy smell.
There could have been a plug for each bathroom unit.
There shouldn’t have been a spider lurking in the bathroom.
Breakfast was a total non-event

Old fashion room. No wifi in the room.
Very expensive room, not worth the price.

I arrived in Laredo just before the rain came down and after a though day of cycling on my way to Santiago. I think about 5 different employees welcomed me and while the afternoon and evening was progressing, they did everything to make you feel happy as a guest. And the meal? That was just awesome. I saw guests walking out towards the town, searching for a good restaurant. Wrong choice, the food was just great.
I can't think of anything.

There is no breakfast.

Parking but we had to pay extra
So far out of city we had to eat there. Quite expensive and also charged for sitting down
5.4 / 10.0
Very quite place with a nice view of Laredo beach from the balcony, as the hotel is located on a hill. Ample outdoors (EUR 4.50 paid) parking, in three levels. Family hotel, with a level of "welcome-ness" varying according to the family member receiving you, normally warmly.
As I mentioned elsewhere, it seems there is an inflation of hotel stars in general in Spain, and indeed this hotel should be labelled as 2-stars, instead of 3 - making it pricey.
This being a family business with focus on the restaurant rather than the hotel part, it was not surprising that rooms and facilities were dated and simple. We did not appreciate the room smelling mildew, nor being charged EUR8 for a basically prepacked breakfast worth at most half of it. The only fresh item offered was coffee. When we asked on the first day for some more bread in addition of the two slices provided per person, the answer was a blunt "No, there isn't enough bread for everyone." (The next days, we brought our own bread.) Maybe that was a bad day.
