Great location, but it's a very pricey old hotel that needs renovation and a few fixes.

- great location with direct access to the magnificent beach with several restaurants with a walkable distance (via beach). - great view to the sea if the room has it; - good parking. Sometimes there is no place, just park nearby, and in the evening, when most beach visitors go away, you can park closer; - earlier breakfast is possible on demand; not many options but fresh and decent. . - early check-in at 11 a.m., rare thing. But all of this, unfortunately, will not justify the ridiculous price, and I'm not sure why the rating is so high.

There is no real reception, so just call them when you arrive. - no air-conditioning in the room, only an old big fan on the ceiling - no fridge ( the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, seriously not even a fridge?) - no TV (I don't care, but someone does): - very old facilities: broken shower door, lamp in bathroom that mournfully blinks from time to time; - walls and doors were not made to isolate any sound - airdryer is only on demand on reception. - weird smell (of toilet?) in the morning near rooms 9-10.

Exceptional

Very nice and cosy hotel right at the beach! The hotel is quite simple, but you can feel that everything is made with love and care. The hotel is neat and very well maintained. Our room was cleaned daily. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan on the ceiling, and it did make a difference on a hot day. The host is super friendly and helpful, and so is the staff! To facilitate the communication I recommend brushing up on your French or learning some basic phrases in French. We loved the location of the hotel - the sea is literally a few steps away and there were very few people on the beach at all time. The sea was crystal clear and warm and there were some fish as well. 😊 The beach is sandy, which makes walking into the water very comfortable. You can also get a parasol at the hotel for free. The village with cafés and a supermarket is about 15 min walk uphill, and there are also some cafés on the beach close to the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful terrace where you can eat your breakfast enjoying the view and the sound of the sea - we absolutely loved it!!! By the way, the breakfast was very nice (would be nice to have more fresh fruit and veggies for breakfast, but in general it was good), especially the croissants and the local jams! Definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and quiet beach holiday!

A simple paradise

The hotel position is spectacular. Perfect to chill in your room at the sound of the waves. Rooms are small and the bathroom a little old, but in general they are super comfortable. The hotel is simple, in a good sense, perfect to really appreciate Corsica's spirit!

(really optional) a better choice of vegetarian options at breakfast would have been appreciated. For the rest, nothing really to complaint, everything was great.

This is a lovely hotel that is perfectly situated for the beach. The staff are all wonderful.

There was a good variety of choices including fruit and the usual French style pastries, meat and cheeses. Breakfast could be taken alfresco on the terrace or inside.

Cute family run place on the beach

Lovely authentic place, nice location right by the beach with terrace and very nice staff. you can walk to town by a steep path for appx 15minutes - got very sweaty but no problem

We missed aircon, it got very warm during the daytime. Ceiling fan helped a little bit

Nice hotel but unsatisfactory billing.

The location by the beach was very nice.

I paid for the hotel through Booking.com. However, when I checked out the manager claimed the hotel had not been paid and I was forced to pay again with my credit card. Later in day the hotel manager realized they had made a mistake. They would not cancel the credit card charge and I was told that I would be reimbursed by Booking.com within 15 days. I have waited 45 days for the refund. When I try to contact customer service at Booking.com, there is no way to reach a person to resolve this problem. This is why I am putting this in the review of the hotel.

Very good

Location and setting next to a beautiful beach and near Cargèse, welcoming staff, traditional style.

Some parts of the room could do with updating, breakfast was mediocre.

Great hotel on the beach

Highly recommended, the owners are very friendly and helpful. There is direct access to a very nice beach, the food was very good, you can have breakfast and dinner on a really nice terrace with sea view. Also, the view from the rooms facing the beach is just amazing. We’ve felt very welcomed, so just want to say thank you and see you soon.

Great choice for a stay in Cargèse

The hotel location is perfect and the owners are kind and welcoming people. Breakfast is basic yet you find anything you need with very good products, bread, brioche and croissants are really good. The hostess even prepare some light plates for simple evening dinners, even if paillotes are close by on the beach for lunch and dinner this option is much appreciated when you want to keep it simple. Rooms are comfy and very clean. The direct access to the beach definitely makes the difference. Also in case you doubt, the lack of swimming pool is not at all an issue.

Noise between rooms, walls are really thin, everyone is aware so everyone behaves.
