Lo atentos que estaban los empleados y muy amables y con mucha paciencia para explicarnos todo ya que no somos portugueses
No hay nada que no me haya gustado

Bathroom excessively small...

Everything was fine
wifi can be better

Location is close to a fantastic market and metro station. Room was tiny; however, had a balcony, but it was not cleaned!
Breakfast was very disappointing, no eggs, no hot dishes!

Very good pice/value balance.

The staff were polite. The hotel wasn't too badly situated, albeit a little out of the centre, but long walking distance/short uber to main attractions. Check out at 12pm was useful, and hotel let us keep bags stored by reception until check in and again until we left the area
Awful bathroom, shower curtain blows towards you in an already tiny shower, so there is no room to move & the gaps caused mean the water gets all over the floor. There are very basic and old fashioned facilities, hard to regulate temperature in room. Breakfast is really not up to standard, coffee in an urn that makes everything taste odd, very little selection or quality of food available, so it doesn't feel like a bonus to have it included, better to go to the cafe next door. It didnt feel like good value for money, especially given new year rates

Close to the amazing food court at Mercado de Bom Sucesso and to the Casa da Música. Bathrooms have been updated.
There is no wifi on the top floor but they don't tell you that when you complain.
Location for sightseeing is inconvenient. One hour+ walk to the Douro. You need a transit pass. Construction right next to hotel is very noisy. Towels and sheets are very limp and tired.

Central location , really near the Casa da Musica e avenida boavista,
classic decoration.
very calm and quiet.
easy to reach the city central and the public tranports
nothing to report

The location is good. You can walk to the city centre about 30 minutes or you can take a bus 501 and in ten minutes you will be in the city centre. We are a students and teachers group of Erasmus. You can find twin beds in the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are tidy and clean. There is also a big shopping mall behind the hotel. There is also bus terminal.
The beds are not big but ok no problem.

The staff was welcoming. Central location in a less touristic area.
Needs a revamp.

Our room at the Vice-Rei was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an extremely early flight to leave Porto and they were kind enough to call a cab to be at the hotel at exactly the right time to pick us up. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and good water pressure, although the shower was pretty tiny for my very tall husband. I didn't have any issues since I'm much shorter. In general, staying at the Vice-Rei was a great experience!
The Vice-Rei is in the financial district, so we had to take either a cab or the subway to get to the historic district. The subway was an easy walk to get to and drops you off right in the middle of the historic district so that was convenient. If you want to be within walking distance to the historic district, this won't be a good option for you. However, we liked coming home to a quieter area at the end of a long day of sightseeing. There are limited restaurants nearby.

-Super kind staff
- Room
-Possibility to leave the luggage even after the checkout so you don't have to bring it with you around all the city before leaving
I would suggest more variety for the breakfast
I would replace the sink which is too small

Nice exposure to the local cuisine and delicacies for breakfast. The staff was welcoming and spoke a variety of languages (French and English) so it was easy to communicate with them/ Great suggestions as well of things to do and places to go.
Housekeeping staff was warm and always ensured that I had everything I needed to be comfortable- plus prompt and efficient cleaning DAILY.
The rooms were not very good at resisting noises from outside or even next door/ in the hallway. The lack of shutters at the window made the rooms super cold at nights and I had to be using the heating unnecessarily.

A little tired and oldfashioned but concerning the price, it was ok.
We felt welcomed, staff in reception is very professional. Location is good for shopping, bus station is nearby and also lot of places to eat or have some coffee. Reasonable price for this quality.
