Bien pour une nuit… pas plus

L’emplacement Clim OK Ventilateurs OK

La moustiquaire aux fenetres qu’il a fallut réparer L’accueil des propriétaires plus que glacial Le manque de propreté general Le manque d’insonorisation de la chambre car nous entendions tous les autres locataire dehors L’absence de bonde dans la douche laissant rentrer tout et n’importe quoi dans la douche

Aufenthalt okay, gute Lage im Ort Nong Khiaw

Gute Lage, weil nicht direkt an der Straße, aber in der Nähe zu den Aussichtspunkten, einer Höhle und vielen Restaurants und Touranbietern. Guter Laundry Service.

Hatte mich auf ein Zimmer mit Aussicht gefreut, aber das blieb uns leider verwehrt! Oft und stundenlang laute Musik in der Nachbarschaft.. Personal könnte freundlicher sein.

Beautiful guesthouse - would definitely recommend

Really nice guesthouse. Very clean and spacious rooms, and an amazing view from the terrace. Very good value for money compared with the other places we stayed in Nong Khiaw.

The staff are sometimes hard to find but was never a major issue.

Onvriendelijke gastvrouw

De 'gastheer' en tevens touroperator (the white rabbit) gaf ons een warm welkom.

De gastvrouw was daarentegen allesbehalve gastvrij. Wij hadden een reservering bij Meexai, maar na aankomst en betaling bleek ze opeens geen kamers meer beschikbaar te hebben... Vervolgens kregen wij (nadat we de volle mep al hadden betaald) een 'noodbungalow' toegewezen. Deze was verre van vergelijkbaar dan de aangeboden accommodatie. Geen airco, geen gordijnen voor het raam, geen fatsoenlijke badkamer en behoorlijk gehorig. Veruit een onaangename ervaring. We besloten de dag erna vroeg te vertrekken om elders te ontbijten en vervolgens de bus te pakken naar onze volgende bestemming, toen ineens dezelfde gastvrouw in de bus stampij stond te maken dat we niet hadden betaald!?! terwijl we dit uiteraard wel hadden gedaan... al met al een onaangename manier om behandeld te worden als gast. Mocht je het verblijf hebben zoals aangeboden op booking kan je ervaring echter anders zijn.

Middelmatig

De locatie is top. Vanaf de patio voor de kamer heb je uitzicht over de rivier. Het is vlakbij een aantal restaurants en viewpoints. Kamer is groot en voor Laos begrippen best schoon.

De kamer wordt niet tussendoor schoongemaakt en je krijgt ook geen nieuwe handdoeken. Er is achter het guesthouse een bar/restaurant waar ze keihard de muziek aan hebben staan waardoor je in de middag niet echt kunt chillen op je kamer.

Ruhige, flussnahe Lage Sehr gute Betten Hilfe bei Organisation

Wissenswert: rechtzeitig melden, wenn man später als vereinbart kommt, sonst könnte das Zimmer vergeben sein….

We were basically thrown the key out the window, and after that didn’t see anyone until checking out. Room was huge but empty, window covered over. Ran out of loo roll but no idea where to get more

No maintenance. No equipment. Not so clean. Only a bed. Tab linking. No drinking water if you don't t ask. No cleaning room during 4 days. Not a nice place to have breakfast. No view from our room.

Confortable bed. Location not in the village center, but it's actually very close to the bridge and most viewpoints.

Staff was almost never available. Wifi connection does not work at all.

Massive rooms and great bed (although pillows a bit hard). Amazing price for the location and what you get. You can get breakfast at the guesthouse and do your laundry there.

To have a warm shower you need to turn the water pressure right down, not necessarily a bad thing just good to know in advance.

Location, hot water, veranda.

I found a fresh blood stain on the bed sheets. They were changed but still very unhygienic The lady receptionist didn't bother to say hello when I checked in. She became friendly after I asked for the bed sheets to be changed.

Not so good for that price.

Clean rooms and the good location but Nong Khiaw is very small. The staff was nice as well.

Rooms are randomly assigned even when booking it with a view because it's a long shared terrace. Make sure to take the cheapest option. Had several small cockroaches in my bathroom one night. Couldn't close the windows from the inside so it was freezing in the room at 6 am and the smoke of people smoking on the terrace got in. Eventually improvised a system to close it from the outside with a chair and an ashtray.

Good

Located with excellent views of the valley, mountains and the whole of Nong Khiaw. The property had a mini restaurant and kayaks for rent. Rooms are big, without AC and a comfortable bed. Showers are electric so always have not water.

Rooms are big so are the beds but we found a bed bug. The rooms were a little dirty.

Accommodation is very clean and the room is really spacious. Near by the river .
