Recomendo e voltaria a me hospedar novamente com toda certeza.

Breakfast was great. We had a balcony and it was lovely to be able to sit outside. The pool was perfect and very clean. I loved this hotel. Very traditional and the bathroom window was amazing

I'm so glad I chose Casa Pizarro! The little pool was my favorite part - it's gorgeous and provided the perfect respite from the heat. I was in there almost every morning and night and had it to myself. The included breakfast is served on a beautiful rooftop patio. My husband and I are vegan and once we explained what we wanted, they served us fresh-fried arepas with fresh tomato, avocado, shredded spinach and minced onion. Washed that down with coffee and lulo juice and I was in heaven. Our room was comfortable, with a HUGE bed, and perfectly quiet at night. The outdoor tub was out of service but the climate is so hot there's no way I would have used it anyway (IDK what I was thinking :).
The water from the shower smelled awful (sulfur?) - maybe add a filtering showerhead or air freshener.

Great location. We stayed in the most basic room which was tight but very clean, comfy bed and fantastic staff.
The room was a little small but as advertised.

Perfect location in the middle of Getsemani

Great location and reasonably quiet considering the area; nice building; refreshing pool but lack of space (see below).
.
Poor staff (no welcome, no info provided unless asked, no help with luggage, wrong pricing information on taxis), average breakfast, basic rooms (3 stars max) which could enjoy more maintenance, no space at the pool (impossible to lay and relax), poor common areas.

The pool and the rooftop were a nice addition.
The bed was comfortable and clean.
The bedroom was small without any natural light coming in. Smelled like a closed storage room.
There was construction work going on, and you could hear the hammering.

The old building was amazing with the inner court with swimming pool. The rooms are really nice and clean. The breakfast on the rooftop is also really good, but not buffet.
You could hear everything what is happening outside. They ruined a t-shirt during the laundry and then didn't take full responsibility for it, we still had to pay half the price of the cost for the laundry. Instead of saying sorry they just made excuses saying it was not them.

Beautiful building, lovely pool for cooling off but also great suntrap on the roof. Lovely staff and super clean facilities. Amazing location on a quiet street in the heart of getsemani.

beautiful place, the attentions make the difference
I didn't like the bathrooms, the shower is clogged and old, it wet all my hair, it was super uncomfortable where is the toilet

Nice area, close to everything. Staff is nice.
The place is in need of serious repair.
Electric outlets are hanging off of the wall. My bedroom had black mould growing on the walls, the ceiling looked like it had been flooded from upstairs. They need to invest into new bed linen too, they were stained and yellowed with age, and had holes in them.
The shower was leaking all over the room and it was also mouldy.
The door and the window in my room were just wooden shutters, I could here everyone coming and going and talking, not a peaceful sleep at all.
Value for money is very bad, this is a very expensive hotel for very little comfort. Keeping a place looking traditional doesn’t mean you have to leave it totally run down.
The pictures are very nice but the reality is very far from it, you get much better and cleaner hotel rooms for a lot less money in Colombia.

We stayed at Casa Pizzaro for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. It was a stunning oasis in the midst of the busy and hot streets of Getsemani. The pool was out of this world, not huge for swimming but a proper jungle oasis surrounded by greenery and plants, an ideal place to relax and cool off after sunbathing on the rooftop. The rooftop was a wonderful place to relax, read, catch the sun and eat a lovely breakfast. The staff were so warm and friendly, it felt like a family vibe with many members of staff taking turns in different roles. The cleaning lady was always around keeping the place spotless, providing towels at the pool, and generally being a warm smiling face.
The hotel arranged a trip to an island for us, and offered to help us with arrangements to another beach we wanted to visit, which we decided not to in the end and instead spent another day relaxing in the hotel.
The Getsemani neighbourhood was wonderful, SO many restaurants and bars nearby, made it so easy to grab a bite anytime. The old town was only a 10min walk away so we were basically near to everything.
The place felt very secure too as there was always someone to lock and unlock the front door, day or night.
They also arranged a transfer to the airport for us.
We had the big room, and on Saturday night it was noisy, but it stopped around 2am, and during the week it wasn't a problem. Generally it felt very quiet.
It's quite pricey for Colombia, but Cartagena is much more touristic, and after staying here I'd definitely come back as it was worth it.

Originally booked the larger room with balcony without knowing it faced the streets and people drink and play music until 6.30am. After an awful night we asked to move rooms and not only did the hotel accommodate us but they refunded the difference in price. After we moved to a quieter room there were no more issues and we hugely enjoyed the rest of our stay here. Try the hotel lunch, its great. 10/10 (but don't book the larger room)

Beautiful boutique hotel in Getsemani. The check in staff was friendly and bilingual (English/Spanish), the pool area was cozy and beautiful, and breakfast on the terrace was delicious. I would stay here again!
