Very good breakfast

Where do we start! The villa itself is surrounded by quiet, beautiful farm land and is exquisitely furnished. We loved lazing by the pool and wandering through the fields. The staff were friendly & took the time to get know us and the food was by far the best we ate - all made it love and high quality ingredients.

A relaxing and charming hotel with attentive, friendly staff. We loved the olive oil tasting, the cooking class, and the gorgeous pool.

A lovely villa 20 mins from Agrigento. A true home from home with amazing attention to detail in terms of the facilities and thoughtful touches. Best of all, authentic home cooking by the team who looked after us as you would old friends. We were blown away by this place.
Nothing!

A place with a soul! Every detail exudes its unique character. The team's kindness and care are evident in every interaction. It's a wishful thought that more places like this existed on Earth.
Everything was absolutely fantastic! I have one suggestion: consider implementing a ban on plastic and other soulless products of globalization on the farm. It would be a wonderful idea to promote and support local craftsmen and artists instead. Wishing you the best of luck with everything!

A lovely, quiet authentic agriturismo with a great swimming pool area. We received a warm welcome from the staff who were delightful and had the chance to watch as the pasta for the evening dinner was prepared. Aperitivi were served before dinner and the meal was excellent, as was breakfast. Our room was delightful and comfortable.
Aragona didn't have much appeal as a destination but Fontes Episcopi was an easy drive to the Valley of the Temples.

A beautiful place to stay! The hotel, room, pool and setting were exceptional. The staff made us feel completely at home and made the stay that much better!

Resort Fontes Episcopi was everything we were hoping for and more. With only seven rooms, it is intimate and the staff were great. The decor is so quirky and charming, and the staff are very happy for you to wander the grounds and explore. Our afternoons were spent by the pool with a drink in hand. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and we enjoyed two amazing three-course dinners at the resort. The staff also organised us an on-site massage. You need a car to get to the resort as there is very little around, but Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi were only short drives away. We really hope to return one day - it was such a special stay.

Everything and everyone. If 11 was possible we would have. From Magdalena and Sara to Kata and michel who made us feel like home.
The kitchen and food was gorgeous and the decoration is just incredible and the garden and pool are perfect to relax.

Fontes episcopi was one of the best hotel we have ever been to. Everything is great. The chaotic but charming design of the rooms and the commons, the fantastic garden, inhabited by cats, bees and Sicilian veggies. The price we paid for the room and breakfast was right. It is a real heaven. We fell in love with Magdalena, our Sicilian chief who cooked us FANTASTIC meals every day. The entire staff was honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever had in Europe. The pool and its surroundings was a real plus.
Because nothing is really perfect, there are still a few issues that should be resolved in order to approach perfection: 1) the Aircon in the room is very weak. Lucky us we were there in September and the weather was a bit cooler, because if the temperatures grow higher than 35degrees, there is no way the AC of our room would have been enough to keep to room chill enough for us. But this depends a lot on your ability to support hot temperatures. 2) even if the diner (not included in the price) was Fantastically prepared by Magdalena, we felt that one of the meal was honestly too simple for 45€pp. Simple food is amazing. But you still cannot ask 45€ if it is too simple. 3) we felt the bathroom in our room was a bit too simple for the standard of the hotel. The shower cord was short and not long enough to clean your entire body if you are tall. Apart for that, everything was perfect.

Unique place to stay with attention to detail - in service as well as in decoration. The Hotel feels very personal and the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are great. We took a cooking class with Elena which was lots of fun and seemed very authentic. we would definitely recommend this Hotel and come back any time.
there’s just a couple of tiny things that can be improved but don’t really impact the experience: the pool loungers are fixed, so you can’t adjust the height. also the quality of the toilet paper is not what you would expect in a place like this.

We enjoyed the cooking course with the 'Sicilian Mumma' - although we didn't know that we were cooking for all the guests! The pool was nice and the staff helped us organise future transport etc along with some great recommendations for a guide for the Valley of the Temples and a couple of great restaurants
It felt like we should be in the country but the outlook is electrical wires and roads crossing the fields. It is a great place to stay, but maybe look inwards not out!

great location, very quiet, and unique setting. very beautiful room with bath and shower. nice swimming pool to relax.
airco was not strong enough to cool down the room.

This hotel offers a unique blend of comfort, service and "at home" feeling. The managers and staff are extremely helpful and provided great insights of things to do and places to go. Food and wine is excellent and reasonably priced with a focus on organically grown vegetables and herbs. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Very rural location and not much to see in close vicinity of the property. Need a car and plan for 30-60min trips to key attractions like valley of temples and Turkish steps, beaches etc.

We were touched by the profound kindness of the entire team, pure taste of local cuisine and rough beauty of the estate. Natural and inspiring. We hope to be back some day with our kids and let them experience the value of true hospitality. Nothing more to wish for. Thank you.

The family style friendliness of the staff was exceptional. They encouraged getting to know everyone including helping with meal preparation. The pool was heavenly given the extremely hot weather in early June.
Only two things prevented this from being a 10 rating: 1) the mattress was extremely hard which for an older person like myself with some shoulder issues made sleeping uncomfortable; 2) there were 2 dogs nearby (don’t know if they were part of the property or not) that barked continuously from 1 am until about 5 am and woke me up every 15-30 minutes.

The dinner service, no options and overpriced

This is an oasis just outside of a mixed use area. The property is warm and inviting. It has been (and continues to be) developed with eclectic, artistic furnishings and artwork. A swimming pool and courtyard add to the appeal of the property. Staff are uniformly kind, warm, attentive and caring.

Our stay at Fontes Episcopi was so good!! The staff is super kind and will help you however they can. We enjoyed the food, the wine and the venue so much! Also the way the room was decorated made it feel like home for us.
Nothing but love!!

Fantastic property and outside facilities, very beautiful and relaxing. Also fun for children.
Pure luxury with home made everything, also soap and shampoo.
The chef Magdalena and her team are so talented and good company as well when you visit them in the kitchen.
Great experience!
A minor thing - it would be great if it was possible to choose an alternative simpler menu for dinner as it is a great deal of (delicious) food and difficult for some children to stay put and awake for a 4 course dinner.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and will make you feel completely at home and so welcome. This is the best of Sicilian hospitality with wonderful food, absolutely beautiful and stylish environment and such amazing service. Loved it so much!

Aragona city is not the most interested place but you forget it once you enter the estate
