I loved everything

I normally do not write any reviews, but this place is off the charts. First I thought that the car park was quite far away from the entrance door, but when we left the location, it felt perfect. Just like everything in this place. It was like parking yourself in a comfy bubble where nothing can harm you. Even the television in the room was able to connect with my phone, so we could watch our favorite series using SmartView. Watching Succession in this environment was like bending into the plot. If we could afford it, we could probably land on a helicopter in front of the Schloss, next to the Venus statue.
There was a wedding event in the place in the evening, but we were still able to dine a "short four-course dinner" without disturbing the party. Or them disturbing us. There was no hurry and no pressure to get out of the table. And of course we would have wanted to have a peek of the festivities.
I've had a few breakfasts served or fought in a buffet with other customers. Here we were guided to a table with good selection waiting there, and got asked for preferences about the still missing parts, like coffee and warm portions. All in peace and good service. This place easily earned top-5 placement in my lifetime breakfast experiences.
This is a historical place. You should not fix too much of the surroundings. There isn't anything to not like about this place. Personally, I would have liked to recharge my car overnight, but this place will follow suit when the time is right. Just like the old oak trees planted in the yard few hundred years ago were to be used as repair material for the roof when the original wood rotted away. This world should be run based on centuries, not quarters.

The hotel is located in a unique place: you can enjoy Keila waterfall and feel the atmosphere of an old castle. The territory around is well kept, the rooms are clean and cosy. My family and me enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to the hotel's restaurant - great service, food and atmosphere.

Gorgeous location

Very good location, filled with history. Out of backpackers budget but still value for the money. Dinner menu excellent and breakfast was good one (was skeptical because some customer reviews).
There could be booking option with breakfast. Otherwise, nothing to complain.

Our stay in Keila was incredible. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and cared for. We were shown our accommodation and toured around the domaine. We quickly understood that it was a family run business as the passion our host had for the building and its history was striking!
The rooms are spacious, newly renovated and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The service exceptional and the location absolutely perfect.
In the morning we had a walk through the forest and were able to see both the waterfall as well as the museum downstairs.
I only wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful castle as one evening felt too short to admire all there is the see in Keila!

Very friendly waiter at dinner and a beautiful location with the waterfall and park. The main hotel is lovely. Clean and comfortable room.
We were disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price. We paid an additional €44 (for 2 people) and felt the breakfast options were stingy/very limited for what we paid. We were offered either porridge or an egg/omelette. My girlfriend is allergic to eggs so this greatly limited our options. There was a small selection of cheese and meats on the table when we arrived.
On a separate point, the woman at reception did not offer to help us with our luggage at all when we arrived at the hotel and was at times abrupt.

The setting of this Hotel/Castle is very beautiful. The hotel is right next to a waterfall and at a pleasant walking distance along the river to the shores of the Finnish Gulf. Inside the hotel, you find yourself in a very beautifully restored Manor/Castle with a fascinating history that is in detail explained in the basement of the building. You will also feel that you are an appreciated guest here. The staff is very friendly on real terms, not because they just smile. They speak their languages and all have a good sense of humor. The restaurant was excellent both for dinner and for breakfast. Our room was very comfortable for a very democratic price and the bed was really good. The hotel has even more luxurious accommodations that we did not even dare to explore. This is a perfect place for a romantic weekend, any month of the year.
Everything was perfect, just the room temperature was a bit too high. We could not find a way to regulate or correct that.

Everything else
Lovely romantic place in wonderful area
Lack of bathrobe in the room
Would have been nice with eg CNN or other news channel on tv (connection didn't work)
4.5
Beautiful location, everything almost clinically renovated and restored. Surprisingly peaceful being next to a busy tourist attraction. Double room in the annex was OK (new, clean, etc), but the real value for money came from the possibility to dine and have breakfast at the main building terrace.
5.0
Good value for money, the place is picturesque and romantic. People interested in the history of Baltic Germans may find it extremely interesting. The staff were nice and the food in the restaurant was made and served very nicely.
