A different world here. Small place with few cabins, beautiful surroundings, nature and snow. Good experience to stay here than normal hotels. You may see reindeers if you are lucky. Host was nice and helpful. Very efficient to solve any problems and answer queries. Well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't see any aurora during our stay. Quiet place and good for long walks. Make sure that you bring enough food and drinks for your stay. Also some first aid stuff, just in case. The amenities and restaurants are quite a distance. Taxi is very expensive here.
Nothing!

Our family of five just returned from staying here and we would certainly go back again. Everything was great. The hostess was very responsive with the questions I had before we left. The host picked us up at the airport and took us to the cabin. He took the time to talk us through everything about the surrounding area and discuss the activities we had scheduled in the coming days. They made sure we had a great stay. We owe our great vacation to their personal service! The cabin was also wonderful- it had everything we needed, was clean and warm and cozy. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host and hostess. The accommodation alone was worth a great rating and if you want a personal experience and like meeting local people- this is would be an amazing choice.

Everything was great. The Cabin was spacious and clean, and it was very comfortable staying there. There was a kitchen complete with cooking equipment, with plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, so you can cook your own meals and keep your costs down. There’s a coffee machine too. If you book airport transfers with them, they will take you to the supermarket first before proceeding to the Cabin so you can buy everything you need. The hosts Jaana and Mika were very kind and gracious. They even allowed us to check out late for free when they learned that our flight would leave at 6:00pm. If you’re thinking of spending time in Lapland, stay at Polar Aurora Cabins. You will not regret it.
Nothing.

Cosy decor, good location next to the National Park, warm rooms, lovely Owners who kindly let us check in early and gave us great hiking advice. Amazing husky safari with a private pupp visit! The kitchen has everything one could need to cook simple meals. We also saw auroras just above the roof of our cabin!
The prices for activities and meals are high, but I guess this is quite normal for Lapland.

We loved the clean comfy cabins which were cozy and well equipped. Janna and Mika are excellent hosts. We couldnt reccomend Polar Aurora Cabins any better! Frankly they are way better then the commercial accomodations out there and offer a ‘Home Away From Home’ experience. They make a perfect team and run the cabins like clockwork.

Our stay in Polar Aurora Cabins was one of the highlights of our trip to Lapland! The cosy cabin is just magical with its roaring fire to retire in front of after a day of snowy adventures, and wooden ladder to an attic room for the kids! We started our days with a Finnish sauna - (complete with rubbing ourselves with snow!) and a coffee on the terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to keep down our costs by cooking our meals (although other guests raved about the food prepared by Miika and Jaana in the Kota!). The kids had a blast making friends and sledging in the surrounding forest. The cabin is well out of the village, so it feels totally secluded, but of course, close enough to make visits to the supermarket. We arranged our transfers from the airport, to the supermarket and to our next accommodation with Miika, who was always on hand to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We also booked the husky experience through Polar Aurora Cabins and it was sensational! All in all, we had a fantastic experience - you won’t regret booking your stay here!
We loved everything, it’s just worthwhile to know that the costs of transfers can add-up so it’s worth factoring that in the budgeting of guests.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable cabin. We really liked the view to the river, the sauna and all the Christmas elves 😄. Great base for hiking in the Urho Kekkonen NP. Just a few kilometers from the trailhead at Kiilopää. We slept very well, excellent beds. And the best of all was the delicious Lappish dinner Mika made for us at the beautiful kota. Nice experience!
Really cannot think of anything!
