Loved it … we’ll be back

A sympathetically & beautifully restored apartment in the centre of Hvar Old Town … stunning inside & out … what more can I say … wish I lived here as the location, view & vista are to die for.

There is nothing to dislike about this property … just note there a lot of steps up to the property so make sure your luggage is light enough to carry

Great stay

Everything was as expected and the host very friendly. The location is perfect if you don’t mind a few stairs to reach it but it is worth it. Very comfortable and authentic with amazing views.

Beautiful place & wonderful stay.

Breakfast was great, but a bit of a walk from the apartment

Communication was an issue - Our phones had almost no reception, and the owner had an emergency in the family, so no one knew exactly when we would arrive. Fortunately we found the apartment fairly quickly, and the owner more than made up for it with a wonderful tour of old town.

Exceeded our expectations! Such a lovely Villa.

Villa Marchi was amazing! 10/10!! Met Rupert at the office just down the street to store our bags while the apartment was being cleaned and prepared. The Villa is absolutely amazing, so comfortable, beautiful and in a perfect location. We could have stayed for a month and been perfectly happy. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for a stay in Hvar!

The property is nicely decorated and very comfortable. There are plenty of lovely outdoor spaces to relax. It’s located just on the edge of town which was perfect because it felt both like a quiet retreat, but when we were looking for action, it was about a minute walk to the action. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we ever return to Hvar.

The property is beyond beautiful. Truly stunning. Rupert was very helpful and lovely to work with.

It would have been nice to have been warned more about the massive number of steps required to get to the villa entrance. If this was highlighted more on the property listing it would have probably affected several facets of our trip, including lugging a bunch of stuff we’d brought from the last couple stops on our trip along with us along the way to our next stop where we were planning to mail it home! The property is beautiful though. Just take it into mind if you are unable or unwilling to climb so many steps. Hey, at least we burned off the food/drinks we consumed while there.

Exceptional

The space, layout, decor and arrangement they had for breakfast was fantastic and very well thought out. It was nice to have great laundry facilities after travelling for a couple of weeks. The view was very pleasant, the island itself is gorgeous and the whole interaction with Rupert the host was easy and informative as he took us for a quick tour.

Exceptional

A beautiful villa apartment just 100 yards from the harbour set in a lovely location. The home has been extensively renovated in the last few years with modern bathrooms and is beautifully maintained with lovely views of the sea and other islands from the drawing room. The outside has a sun lounging area, meditating room and outside dining area. There is also an outdoor laundry room which is really useful as our stay was for 2 weeks. Finally the host Rupert was superb! He couldn’t have done anymore to help us have a lovely stay. Upon arrival, he gave us a small tour of the town and assisted us with our cases to the villa. One of our family suffered an illness and Rupert couldn’t do enough to assist and even took us to the medical centre on a couple of of occasions! All in all, a lovely stay and would highly recommend to anyone!
