Sad old hotel accommodation

The room was small about 3x4 metres and had a double bed and single bed. One bedside table, no wardrobe just a small hanging space. Just enough room for one person to get in between the bed and window. No kitchen facilities at all for guests. Couldn't get a cup of tea unless you bought it from the downstairs bar. 3 adults shared this tiny room for 3 nights and the shared bathrooms were old and dirty. Our beds and towels were not changed at any time and we didn't see anyone cleaning at any time.

Horrific.

There’s a pool table.

During the night, you can smell the public bathroom, which is disgusting, even if you’re 50m away from it. The sink in your room has weird suspicious yellow stains that you don’t want to think about, the windows look like they’ve never been opened in 600 years, and there’s bugs everywhere. You can hear the bass of the music still going in the middle of the night and the internet connection is literally better if you leave and stand on the pavement outside this hotel. When we checked in, the receptionist gave us two receipts because they stapled some other room’s receipt with ours, and I watched as the receptionist struggled for five minutes to figure out what the solution to this HiGhLy difFiCulT problem was - simply remove the receipt that wasn’t ours.

i felt quite relaxed there.balcony area was nice too.

the location was superb.the lounge area made it more comfortable away from your room.the meal i had there would have to of been the best.the cleaners need to be commended for there eye for detail and cleanliness.i met them and they have excellant customer relations.very pleasant.

the large exspanse of the lounge area could have easily catered for a fridge.and a small table with electric jug and toaster.if these were put in place my overall rating would be excellant.

I was satisfied with what I got for the short notice.

I needed a place to stay at short notice. The hotel room was clean, an extra blanket would have been helpful. the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The staff was helpful and friendly. the shower and toilet were clean and the hot water was efficient.

the sink in the room was blocked and didn't drain the water. The price was higher than I had paid in other towns for the same type of room.

Great location, good meals.

We were on motorbikes, we were told to ride around the back and the gate would be opened. Had to wait 20 minutes including asking at the drive through bottle shop twice. Appreciate they get busy at the bar, but it seemed to our group that they had forgotten about us.

I feel a bit ripped off.

proximity and staff were welcoming

had to leave early as my wife suffered heatstroke on an incredible hot day. fan in room did not work. staff had all vacated. messaged requesting return of key deposit. yet to receive. bar closed at 9pm. spoke to barman in advance who offered to chill some drinks for us in an esky with ice. gave him four bottles, but he and the esky were nowhere to be found on our return so he gets four free bottles I guess!

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE. ZERO STAR rating

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RUNDOWN, place looking like a Jail. We walked in and after 10min we left due to the bad cigarette smell, hot air blown out of a dusty fan. and the noise coming from drunk people outside. $140 a room is a rip-off, Not a welcoming accomodation option. Better suited to the drunks downstairs not travellers. We left and asked Simon at front counter I needed to speak to Sally the manager and demanded my refund. Up till this day, Sally is not responding to numerous messages left for her to call and explain. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Quiet, comfortable, friendly.

Location was central, amazingly quiet for a pub. Check-in was easy, Alex was very welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay. Room was clean and comfortable, living areas ample.

The smoking area upstairs needs some kind of separation from the main living area. Or perhaps smoking downstairs only? There's already a designated area. I smoke on occasion but it's unpleasant to have it wafting into the lounge and bedrooms

The shared bathroom and toilets. I misread the description and missed this detail. The back entrance from the carpark was chained up during the day, even though clients were given a key to enter through this door, you were required to walk around to the front entrance.

The hotel was basic but just fine for an overnight stay.

The were only two toliets for the guests, One male and one unisex. Being a party of three women, we would have preferred one dedicated women's toilet/shower.
