Central to Rick’s Cafe and about a 20-min walk to Hassan II mosque. The staff is beyond friendly. Within the walls of the medina. Great for budget traveler who doesn’t really mind a little “dirt around the edges”
Dirty. Bathroom full of mold between the wall tiles, worn out old building. Shower leaks everywhere.

Excellent location to the old media of Casablanca and the food markets, also across from the hotel is a wonderful Bazar worth visiting as it supports local artists showcasing traditional Moroccan skills in weaving, wood work, jewellery making, ceramics, art, leather and textiles in a modern way. Shower was hot and strong and a little small but it’s an old building so you expect that. It’s not a fancy hotel but if you just want a clean room and good location for a good price, then this will be ideal.
Breakfast is traditional with omelette, breads and pastries, but the chef could use some lessons in hygiene. Beds are a little hard, rooms a little stuffy but open the doors to let some air in and it’s fine.

Clean and big room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located in the Medina. Close to Casa Port Railstation. Nice breakfast. Great value.
Light smell of fungus from the bathroom.

It's a great hotel that has an unbeatable price for what you are getting -- set right at the edge of the Old Medina and a 10 minute walk to Casa Port. The hotel also has a vintage charm with classic Moroccan tiles, blue doors, and charming French balconies to chill out after a day's excursion in town.
There's no AC so you will have to open the balcony doors to let in the cool air -- which also means you'll let in the noise from outside at night. A small compromise.

Although the location is good, the surroundings are unsafe and noisy
The room is old, the hygiene is insufficient, the surroundings of the hotel are unsafe, noisy environment

The staff was friendly, the location was decent.
It reeked of cockroaches. If you want to live your life in unhygienic circumstances, where during the night you are accompanied by cockroaches, this is the place for you. The bed was comfortable, and the ten cockroaches agreed. I will never come here again

Location was 30 minutes from the mosquée and 2 minutes from the market on foot. We a good place for a one night layover for a connecting flight.
The staff were very friendly. They provided water bottles, since you cannot drink the water in the rooms.
The noise. Dogs barking all through the nightkept waking us up.
The shower is very small and I kept bumping into the faucets either going full cold or full hot.
Although I booked using a credit card, I could not complete the transaction with the card. I had to pay with cash, using up precious currency I had in reserve. This was not mentioned in the description.

It's a nice hotel, in a very cute location. Simple, not expensive and people are really kind.

Nice comfortable rooms with private shower. The place felt clean and there was a heater in the room, which is a must in winter. Hotel felt safe and overall comfortable.
The location is very centre, however the centre of Casablanca is not the safest place. The square was a bit shady, therefore I would suggest to avoid staying in the centre of Casablanca and opt for an accommodation at the beach instead.

Romantic, start of the 20th century flair but a decent modern bed and definitely clean. Respectful, chill receptionist. Would come again!
Not about the property but… One male European guest there was yelling at the receptionist and being entitled, threatening to leave a bad review (Mar 18). I felt sorry for the staff that were definitely diplomatic and professional.

The place was pleasant with big and clean rooms. The location is great. The staff was very responsive! The front desk kept our luggage even after our check-out so that we could take one last stroll before departure.
We didn't have any particular issues.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly.
I don't think the reviews expressed that this hotel is located in a very shady part of the historic old medina, and that would've been very helpful. Also, there is a cafe/bar next door that is very loud. The area itself is extremely loud, and feels very unsafe.

Very cute hotel in the middle of town with great views of the port. Staff is very friendly, the breakfast was ok. I had booked without breakfast and for the price you get better breakfast outside the hotel.
Cleanliness could be better. All in all, great value for your money.
Cleanliness of the floor and bathroom

The location
Very well priced
Room was clean
Staff pleasant
Effortless check in
For the money you can't really complain, my only gripe was the bathroom wasn't well stocked at first and the mattress was a bit hard

Very close to the old medina and only a few minute's walk from casa port
Staff are always friendly and helpful, has someone on the desk 24 hours
The rooms are big, light and airy, we've been here twice and were lucky to stay in the same room. 101 is on the first floor and overlooks the square
Good breakfast provided by the cafe next door (can be eaten in your room or in the dining area of the hotel) costs 30 dh. Which is very reasonable
Nothing!!
