The room was spacious and clean, and the pool area was a lovely place for breakfast or an afternoon drink. The breakfast buffet was good.
The pool was a bit green and not enticing. The bar music was not to my taste, but there were other quieter places to sit.

Roof of Africa was an amazing place to stay! Their microbrewery produces excellent beers, their restaurant made delicious dishes (and had a complimentary breakfast buffet), and the setting was very comfortable. Too cold to use the pool during my visit but I can imagine how refreshing that would be in summertime. Sauna is available too but did not have time to use. Overall an excellent place to stay and I cannot recommend it enough! Bartender Raunah and restaurant server Olivia really made the experience special! These girls deserve a raise or a promotion for their excellent hospitality!

It was proximate to where I wanted to be.
It felt overpriced for what we got. It was not as modern as it looked in the pictures. The room was small and we only had one extra blanket for a single bed despite there being two single beds. If I hadn’t packed warm clothes I would have been very cold that night.

CHecking in and getting into our room was great. THe room and bathroom were exceptionally comfortable and up to good modern standard. Dinner was terrible. Waited an hour, ordered Luederitz lobster. It was dry as a bone. But other meals may be much better. But the hotel stay was great.
Food

Breakfast was good. There was a reasonable variety of food and it was good quality. Shame butter was replaced by margarine.
Larger room. Butter instead of margarine at breakfast.

nice hotel from the outside, cute yard with pool
rooms very old, bathrooms way older than on the pictures even though we paid for a better room
party in the restaurant and pool area right in front of our windows until late at night
compared to other Windhoek/Namibia hotels too expensive for what you get

Lovely hotel with nice pool area, dinner buffet and breakfast buffet was fine,
We enjoyed the pool and sauna
The room was comfortable and cool.
The bathroom needed a bit of maintenance but it was fixed immediately.
Room was a bit noisy as it was close to the kitchen, but not too disturbing.

Most of the staff is friendly. And there is private parking.
We booked a Deluxe Room for 3 nights and it was very disappointing. The room (room n.41) is very old. The balcony overlooks the back of the kitchen, which is gross and loud. The pool is always busy with dinner- and children's parties. Our bathroom had a lot of fungus! Everything is old, somethings are broken (lamps, mirrors) and something have fungus. The breakfast is elaborate, but nothing is fresh. Fruit comes out of a can and you have to pay for water. The price was WAY to high for something like this!

Nothing
Noisy..
The property is over developed.
Save parking a major problem.
On arrival room 12 was allocated to us.
What a disgrace - even back packers will beat this one hands down.
The shower - what a joke.
I did complain and room 19 was offered.
R200 was additional taken from my card.

Nice reception staff, good brewery / restaurant / bar
Breakfast good, secured parking, airport shuttle,
The room was very small and noisy, you can hear everything from the restaurant. bathroom amenities are at the minimum. Bed and bed sheets are not comfortable, pool was closed when I was there.
