Charming base for exploring Chania

Wonderful rooms in a fantastic historic building. The most welcoming and helpful staff. Super clean and comfortable rooms. Very fun jazz bar below.

Perfect Place for a Couple in Chania!!! Don't Miss This One!!!

Perfect Location, right close to Chania city center and a walk to the light house and the harbor and beautiful water. These are brand new units!!!. Everything is sparkly clean. The bathroom / shower is ultra modern and beautiful. It has a very nice and big flat screen TV. The rooms were clean, everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect for my wife and I would absolutely stay here again!

Charming full of old Chania character accommodation in the old city

I booked this mini apartment because I loved the medieval charm & character of the building. the apartment did not disappoint. The bed was comfortable. It was very clean with a small but functional kitchen . The shower was hot with good pressure. I might’ve like a little curtain on the bathroom window but I don’t think anyone can see in. Argiro & Diana we’re so very friendly & helpful. Helping us with our bags upstairs, they offered dining suggestions & tours & made arrangements for us which we wound up cancelling & still they were very accommodating & kind. The location is wonderful, just steps away from the old Venetian Harbour & in the midst of old Chiana, near shops & restaurants. We loved our stay here & recommend this lovely & comfortable accommodation.

The location is ideal. Right by the port, in the center of the town but in a quite area - no noise at all! The rooftop was a big bonus

The bathroom is made of glass door/walls so it’s not very private. The bed were two beds put together and the pillows were rather hard. Shower didn’t have a lot of hot water.

Clean and cosy stay in Chania

Beautiful apartment near the maritime museum of Chania. One bedroom with a double and a single bed in the small sitting area. Nice balcony. Small kitchen and shower. Well taken care of. All in all a lovely place to stay in the backstreets off the main harbour.

Everything was good. There was some noise which was outside. But this is a town!

Superb

Lovely little suite of rooms with a sweet little terrace overlooking the roofs of the old town. Very well equipped and lovely decor. Best location!

Slight smell of drains on the roof terrace - but that's the Med in the summer!

Perfect location

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the lively old port. The staff is amazing.

On the booking it says the room came with free toiletries, but we have never got changed the empty bottles of shower gel nor the soap. We tried to request some, but had to end up buying some from one of the closest shop.

Amazing Location and Very Helpful Staff!!

Location was amazing right by the port of old town Chania. Everything was accessible. Staff was amazing gave us some good recommendations on excursions and also helped us set up our taxi for our early morning flight!

not suitable for out -of-season traveling. cold room and bathroom. noisy due to bar underneath, small room due to old town location.

Totally in love with this apartment and staff

We have a wonderful time at Fagotto Art Residence. Located in the center of Old Town in Chania is a perfect stay to visit this wonderful city. The building and the apartment is breath taking - it was always my dream to wake up and drink coffee at such a lovely balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpfull - recommended us places to eat and visit both in Chania and other part od Crete. Thank you so much!

What a place

We stayed in the studio (ground floor). The room is so so so pretty and well decorated. You feel at home immediately. The neighbourhood, wow. Unbelievable. Must take a walk around in day and night time. Just the cutest little buildings ever. Mata is fantastic and will make your stay even easier.

If I were looking for something to say, I would just point two things: it is a little bit noisy, and the shower is a bit funny. But that doesn’t affect your stay at all. Also I think that’s only on the ground floor. It was a minor thing that wouldn’t keep us from staying there again and again and again! We loved it.

AMAZING LOCATION & ROOM — in ❤️ of Old Town!

unbeatable location, right by the old Venetian Port. Clean rooms, modernly furnished. Excellent customer service (we called reception at 1am to arrange a taxi early next day).

You're in the bustling Old Town, so gets a bit noisy at night. Also, we weren't sure if there was a physical building for reception (we checked in late, and the process was simple)

Great Historical Stay

The location was perfect and the staff was super friendly. They helped us find the best places to visit during our stay. The facility was clean and so unique. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel, incredibly friendly staff, perfect location.

Location is perfect to get into and out of the city easily by car, but also access the rest of it by foot. Breakfast is great but really not necessary, as there are a lot of great things to taste in Crete and variety is nice.

Noisy nights, but because of neighbours not people passing by in the streets.
