Great place for one night

Atmosphere and the oldie worldie feel Shaded car park Fridge Excellent breakfast

A little tired needed a paint outside Shower over bath but no curtain to contain water therefore didn’t use it

Je reviens depuis 15 ans dans cet établissement, et toujours avec plaisir.

Accueil, petit déjeuner correct, bien situé géographiquement, centre ville d'accès facile via transports publics fréquents, endroit calme.

Confort réduit dans la salle de bain, douche à rafraichir... Mais ce petit inconfort est contrebalancé par les avantages cités plus haut et ... le prix.

Superb

Its in a quite area of suburban Budapest, the train station into the city is at the end of the road and across the road there is lidl, aldi and an open air swimming pool. The breakfast was substantial and very good. The rooms are a little dated but, its very comfortable. We sat outside on the terrace in the afternoon and had our own drinks which we had chilled in the fridge in the room. They do sell beer and water, tea and coffee but its not a bar as such. Plenty of parking on site. We would stay here again

The room was clean and we were pleasantly suprised by a big bath. The breakfast was simple, but good.

The hotel was quite far from the center, but the bus stop was near. If you like to walk, the walk to the center takes about two hours.

Nice simple breakfast (bread, toast, butter, yoghurt, milk, juice, eggs, tomato, peppers, coffee); location is nice and convenient: near H5 train station (walk within 6 minutes), about 20 minutes to city center by H5; quiet neighborhood

there is spider web at the corner in the room and in the dining place; the radiator covers with a layer of thin dust; sound insulation is not so good

Hidden treasure for the value

Very good value for the money. Hotel is located a bit outside of the center, but easily reachable by public transport - train stop is about 3-4 min walk. The gentleman at the reception was funny, accommodating and flexible. It was a good choice to stay there, will book again.

The parking lot could be paved, when it rains its a bit messy.

Good for a night or two

My second stay here, first time was in 2019. Inexpensive. Good price, lagre parking, H5 metro line near will take you to Budapest centre in 15 min. Very good bed, clean sheets, quiet. Its ok, if you came with a car is even better. I'll stay again. Good for a nighjt or two.

It could be cleaner, especially bathroom. Basic breakfast, not so good coffie.

Good breakfast served as a buffet. Good location, close to the city train. Great staff, very helpful and speaks good english. Overall great value. Would visit again.

Breakfast buffet could offer more options. Rooms are old, could have been cleaner but nothing severely wrong with that.

The location is good, close to the public transportation. We left the car in the parking lot and in 30 minutes were in the city center. The zone were it is located is cery quiet and nice, pleasant to have a nice walk.

There are many better options in Budapest

Breakfast was as expected for given price range.

I was aware that hotel is old and I don’t have problem with that. However, old is not the same as broken or dirty or dysfunctional. We had leaking toilet that was “fixed” with extra towel, ventilation in toilet was not functioning, had to fix toilet doors to be able to close them. Bed sheets were clean but there was dust and spider webs all over the room. Somebody left bag with garbage in hallway which was not removed by staff for whole day (maybe even more, we left hotel)

Superb

Staff was very helpful. Having a private parking and breakfast is huge plus, especially for the amount of money you pay for the rooms. Metro is five minutes walk from the facility and to get to center of Budapest it will take you around 20 minutes.

This place is not for nit-pickey people. You can see that the staff is trying their best to keep the place clean and maintained, but the place is in need of modernisation and renovation, starting with the carpeting which is old and full of stains and discoloration. But for the money you pay you get a lot, so that didn't bother me.

OK for one night

The room was clean. There was enough hot water and the heating was great. There were 3 towels -2 big ones and 1 small. There was a small fridge in the room with an ice box - very helpful. There was a TV, but as always in Hungary - all the programs are in Hungarian, except for some music channels. The guy working at the reception was very kind and spoke English well. The breakfast was very nice - diverse choice of food and drinks. We were there just for one night and continued our travel.

The furniture is very old. The beds are uncomfortable - there was a 'hole' in one of the mattresses, so we could not use the whole bed. The beds were two single ones joined together.

Very old hotel facilities and rooms. Clean everywhere. Right at the city train station. To the center a few minutes. Breakfast sufficient.
