Pràctic i barat.

És un hotel sense recepció, et deixen les claus en un petit cofre que hi ha al costat de la porta d’entrada. L’hotel, pel preu que té, està molt bé per passar-hi una nit.

Great host, location and value for money

Marco the host is amazing! He helped me with all I needed including weird and non-standard requests, was eager to talk, empathetic and a nice human. The Fuencaliente village is peaceful, charming, great for outdoor and nature lovers and has a strategic location close to many scenic hikes and trail runs, and also close to the bus stop with direct buses to Llanos, Santa Cruz or the lighthouse. The nature is diverse - with volcanic landscape to the South and a forest with huge pine trees to the North. There are 2 big supermarkets, a bakery and several wineries nearby. The house is beautiful and has nice facilities - spacious sunny terraces, a courtyard with huge tropical plants and orchids, free loundry, recycling facilities and a common area. My room had a cute a well-equipped hole-in-the-wall kitchenette, the mattress and the shower in the private bathroom were good. There was a bathtub which served well after a hike/run. The desk and chair were comfortable enough for a week of remote work. There are cute cats! The terrace is great for stargazing, sunbathing and doing yoga. The guesthouse has nice vintage vibe. The value for money is good.

Some smaller items need renovation - e.g., the hanger for shower curtain or the tiles on the bathtub. The WI-FI router is close to the room, but sometimes the signal is weak and you need to go to the corridor to make a video call, and it's very weak on the terrace. No wine glasses. The conditions are good for the money but still basic, don't expect luxury. The sea is not easily accessible by public transportation, the buses are not frequent.

Superb

Good location near bus stop, shops, hiking trails and bars. Well equipped room (heater, TV, big closet, desk) and kitchen, spacious common area, nice roof terrace. Very quiet.

The matress was really worn out. Would be nice to replace it soon.

Better find the alternative

only location

most rooms are very close to the main road. suffering from car noise and vibration. The famous balcony is for viewing running cars. The heating system was not working so very cold night. Very hard to talk to the host as he is not attending the hotel and keep rejecting the calls and SMS. Better find alternative as the host suggested.

-Mattress was really good. -Easy free parking outside. -Kitchen available. -Terrace available.

-Wifi coverage was poor. We hardly got any signal in our room. -The TV in our room didn't work. -The TV in the common area (kitchen&lounge) didn't work. -Outside there was some sort of water control building that made noise 24/7. It was loud enough that we could hear it all night. These were not major issues for us, but other guests might want to keep this in mind.

Very good

Marco is very helpful, nice host. The location is excellent. Beautiful area.

The accommodation is basic which we expected but there could be something done with the doors, doors to the bedroom and bathroom were very hard to close and we're making very loud noise. Also there was a bedside table lamp which was broken / the base of it/ and it was just standing there like that.. Apart from that all was clean .

I thought it was super value for money . The host was really friendly and arrived late he said no problem and gave good information on the area .. regards supermarket and bars.. for the price it was excellent value with a small kitchen .private bathroom and large terrace with beautiful views .

Good place to rest after long hike

Everything was fine. View from the window (and even better from the roof terrace) to volcano and El Hierro. Free washing machine (15 minutes cycle is good enough).

There was some noice from neighborhood (possibly ventilation) so I had to close the window during the night. It is good to know that frying is fordidden in the kitchen but it is understandable there and not a problem for me.

Good location with simple rooms

Good location if you want to get there by bus, but also some park possibilities nearby. You can even walk to the Volcan San Antonio or Volcan San Juan. Simple, clean rooms; shared kitchen with microwaves and oven; You can use washing machine for free. Nice owners.

Nice room, friendly owner. Recommended.

Clean room and bathroom. Very friendly owner. He also took us to the beginning of the Ruta de los volcanos for a reasonable price. We would really recommend to stay in this place, we felt very comfortable. Easy to park You car.

Quite, location is great, and cooking facilities OK

The building is nice, the terrace, the inner garden, the top terrace. Ensuite room OK

The only problem was the bed. The owner kindly replaced the bed based and things improved significantly but still the mattress need to be replace to my standards. Cookware need some updates

Best stop on the Ruta de los Vulcanes

Location very near Ruta de los vulcanes, two very nice vulcanos, a pizzeria, supermarket, bank, busstation Friendly staff Complete shared kitchen and shared dining room Strong WiFi

My room 5 had a window on street level, so a small window in the bathroom had to provide fresh air at night. That didn't work so well.

Perfect place close to everything

The location is peaceful and calm and supermarket, bus station, bars and restaurants are all in walking distance. The room is very clean, the sheets are super soft. The host is also kind and does everything to make your stay good. There are books in the common area in several languages which is great if you’re trying to exchange yours. The overall vibe is cozy and authentic.

Great location! Bars & a supermarket just around the corner. Wineries & restaurants walking distance. Room 7 had its own terrace - that was a nice thing to have.
