Tranquil getaway

Love the tranquil little cabin on the water. So relaxing. And Mike the owner was the nicest man. Totally went out of his way for us. Much appreciated. Lots of beautiful food in the fridge 😋

Nothing really. Maybe if it was closer to town because we didn't have a car. Due to knee replacement can't drive at the moment. But Mike drove us around which was extremely kind of him.

Exceptional

I booked this for mum and dad and their dog, they really enjoyed themselves so much so they booked anothr night the fridge was stocked well the hosts were thoughtful with selection of foods as my parents are vegetarian lovely place if you and fur baby are looking for a quiet getaway.

The only thing that was nice were the owners, nice people but the place was a major let down.

The property was so overgrown, mould everywhere, not maintained at all, smelt like sewage, could not stay the whole time we had to leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful glamping in a well appointed tent/cabin.

Peaceful atmosphere with beautiful view over Lilly filled lake, lovely bird noises, nice and private accommodation and close to Markets and both coastal and hinterland venues.

Well designed, comfortable, breakfast provided in a very well stocked fridge. the owner was very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog - even providing a doggy bowl and doggy towel!

The pool area was having some renovations carried out, meaning it was a little worse for wear, but the owner was happy for our dog to run around the pool area, and go in for a swim too if he felt inclined!

Would definitely recommend staying here for those who want a carefree getaway to relax and chill and bring your dog along. Mike & Mary were great hosts, full of knowledge about the area and gave us some great tips.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it rained on our last night so there wasn’t much sleep. I would stay in one of the lodges next time.

A sanctuary away from home

Wonderful location near a range of great beaches but away from the busy streets in high season nestled amongst tropical trees and resident turtles in the lake. Mike and Mary are such gracious hosts, as are their gorgeous pups. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

It really is a yacht club!

Awesome little getaway. We were made to feel welcome and facilities great. The breaky supplied was fantastic!!! Very dog friendly!!!

We only stayed 2 nights!

Lovely

The owner was lovely. Gave us a great welcome. Loved being right on the lake seeing turtles and hearing the different animals through the night. Breakfast foods provided which was nice. Bed was comfortable enough. Heaters provided did a great job.

The BBQ was filthy and there was black hair in the shower and we are both blonde! Slight mouldy smell. Car parking is tiny and hard to turn around in.

Very relaxing and accommodating

The view was spectacular and the accommodation was extremely spacious.

The room was a little musty, but I guess after all the rain there was still a lot of moisture in the air.

A pet friendly quiet get away

They went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. Also, they catered to our dietary needs and provided many options for breakfast.

A little difficult with the space between the bed and the power point making it difficult to plug in phone chargers.

We liked how knowledgeable and friendly the owner of the property was and the breakfast was plentiful and we slept in the tent and the bathroom had a rain shower 🚿 which was amazing.

We felt the whole property needed a clean up and some TLC and we didn't want to swim in the pool because it wasn't clean and surrounding the pool there was junk everywhere even on the table settings. There was also an old fountain feature with no water so a big hole in the ground. We felt the pool area was an unsafe environment.
