About this villa rental

Villa Lara is a delightful country house with a spacious garden built on various levels.
It has a charming and beautiful terrace equipped with outdoor chairs and tables perfect for enjoying the sunset and outside dinners.
In the summer months, the exclusive pool is open and the area is equipped with an outdoor shower and sunbeds.
Besides that, the property has a garden surrounded by trees and green plants with an outdoor barbecue, hammock, and flowers in the summer.
The pool is exclusively for the guests of Villa Lara and it is open from 1st June to 30. September and is properly maintained on a daily basis.
The backside of the house is currently unavailable for passage as the wall behind is under construction.
Villa Lara is perfect for visitors looking for both the privacy and tranquillity afforded by the cottage and garden and their spectacular mountain setting and the practicality of its location, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of the picturesque village of Miraflores de la Sierra.

Very nice home. Clean and well stocked. Madrid is about 45 minutes by car which is exactly what we wanted. In the mountains outside the city. Quiet neighborhood. Overall, a very nice experience.

Hemos disfrutado mucho de la estancia en villa Lara. Tiene todo lo necesario para estar muy a gusto. Calefacción óptima. Chimenea con leña de pago pero muy asequible. La cocina muy bien equipada con dos zonas, estupendo para maniobrar. Dos baños, es muy útil cuando vamos 4 personas, como nosotras. Tiene dvd y tele, vistas bonitas. La única pega es que anuncian wifi y fue totalmente inexistente durante nuestra estancia. Aparecían las redes de los vecinos pero la de la casa no. Así que a usar datos. Aun así genial porque no usamos apenas el móvil, ya que el plan era desconectar. Otra cosa fue que cuando llegamos a la casa, tuvimos que llamar al encargado, ya que la dueña había olvidado enviarme un código para entrar en la casa, pero se solucionó rápido.

Una maravilla de casa para pasar unos días

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en Villa Lara y como la otra vez hemos estado fenomenal. Desde el principio el contacto y comunicación con Sine es impecable, super agradable y contesta enseguida. Y aunque por el tiempo no hemos podido disfrutar de la piscina estaba preparada y muy limpia (al igual que el alojamiento). La casa para varias personas es una maravilla relación/calidad precio (tanto el interior como el jardín/exterior). Tienes de todo disponible alrededor ya que te encuentras en un pueblo grande pero en la casa tienes intimidad completa. Esperamos que no sea nuestra ultima visita.

La casa está muy bien. A nosotros nos ha gustado mucho. Por poner una pega, el acceso a la vivienda no es muy cómodo para entrar el coche y salir., pero una ves estas en la parte de la vivienda genial. Repetiremos seguro. Gracias!

This is a great find. The perfect location for some wonderful cycling in the mountains north of Madrid, and excellent walking territory too. The house was perfect for our needs. Fully detached in a quiet neighbourhood and very comfortable. We'l perhaps come in early summer or autumn next time so we can enjoy the pool!

Villa Lara is a nice little house in the upper part of the authentic and cosy town Miraflores de la Sierra. I is easy to go there by car from Madrid and car is definetely recommended if you come as a foreigner. We have been in the town for severel times for the last 10 years and every new time is an unique and surprising experience. Very much we appreciate hiking in the mountains of the surroundings og Miraflores and in the evening it is a habbit strolling around downtown seeking for the the best dining offer. From the site of the house you have a magnificient view to the south with Madrid just out on the horizon

Cosy house and atmosfere, neat and clean. We spent a lovely week on the spaceous sunny terrace - even in october! It has great views over the Madrid delta. Within 15 minutes drive from excelent and numerous rock climbing and hiking opportunities, within others we enjoyed very much trail hiking and svimming in the natural pools of "la pedriza" natural park. Only 10 minutes walk to the local plaza that offers local authentic dining or a coffee break in the sun! A very recommendable relaxing holiday!

Me and my family had a great holiday at Villa Lara. The property is really charming and the location is just perfect 10 minutes from the nice town, Miraflores de la Sierra. Our stay was in winter time, but we had fantastic weather - up to 15 degrees. The hut has all facilities that you need. I definitely recommend this house for families and couple that are looking for something special and authentic for their holidays.

Within 15 minutes drive to exellent and numerous climbing and hiking oportunities and only 10 minutes walk to the lovely city plaza and its many options for local dining or a coffee break in the sun. A perfekt combination for relaxing holidays.

We are a family of 5. We stayed in Villa Lara in October. Lovely house, compact but with everything you need. Beautiful location in the mountains. Miraflores was quiet in the Autumn but I'm told lively in Summer. A car is definitely needed as the house is accessed via some very steep hills. Village has everything you need for groceries. Weather this time of year can be cold so bring warm clothes and be prepared for wet days as well as some lovely warm weather. We didn't get to swim as the weather was unsuitable but the pool looks great and it would be a lovely way to cool down in the Summer. There are lots of maps, brochures and guides in the house to help choose trips and activities. There is also a tourist office in the village. Madrid is about 45 mins by car. We avoided driving into the city by parking at a train station in the suburbs and taking a train. Would recommend Segovia for a day. Make sure to visit the castle and take the motor way! Otherwise the road is uphill and seriously twisty and windy. Also, the Bernabeu Stadium a big hit with kids. Lots of galleries to visit. There is free entrance on certain days. Sine, the owner, was great to deal with. Would definitely consider another holiday here again.
