I have already been back!

Quiet small, family-run resort with attention to the smallest details, beautiful pool area overlooking the beautiful bay, the breakfast is excellent and not the standard hotel one, staff is very friendly and keen to service the customers.

Everything about it is amazing, but the two things that made all the difference are the staff and the view The staff are super helpful, very nice and kind people The view of the rooms is fabulous it gives you a feeling that you don't want to leave the hotel

Gorgeous place and great service!

if you want to be pampered while you are in paradise, this is the place to book. The entire staff is very kind and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious. we had lunch and dinner here and everything was amazing! The beach is 3 min walk from the hotel. If you want to go into town or visit other areas rent a car because this hotel is far from town. Be aware that the car rental companies are a pain. They will charge you if you get a small dent in your car or anything. Maybe supplemental I durante is worthy. Thank you Salty Houses. We had a great time!

Dreaming of my next visit there !

Wonderful location amazing view, all the blue sky and sea ! Comfort, clean, quiet and relaxing. Excellent breakfast at the restaurant area, also delicious lunch & dinner. Friendly service and good advisory about activities and outdoor too. Great beach Kalafatis by walking in 3-4 mins! I am very satisfied could recommend to anyone.

A little piece of Paradise! The perfect place to relax…

I knew from other reviews and the photos that Salty Houses would be special, but it exceeded my expectations! I chose Kalo Livadi and specifically Salty Houses for the relaxation part of my Greek island adventure. It is quieter than other areas in Mykonos, but that’s what I wanted. I didn’t have a car, as I had already visited other parts of the island before arriving here. Salty Houses sits on a a small hill overlooking the bay and there are no other properties in front. The studios, pool and restaurant / bar area have been designed to provide wonderful, unobstructed views of the sea. Salty Houses is architecturally striking and beautifully designed, using the local stone. The interior design has an informal elegance feel to it. My studio was spacious and it was lovely to have a comfortable seating area inside and outside. As soon as I arrived I instantly felt relaxed! My communication with Sissy, the owner prior to my arrival was excellent. Sissy was there to greet me when I arrived and was available throughout my stay, nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday the day I arrived and Sissy arranged a lovely surprise dessert complete with candle! She is supported by a small team, who were also dedicated to making my stay special. The breakfast is fabulous, it was a feast for my eyes and my stomach! Although the studios have kitchen facilities, I ate in the restaurant every night. The menu is international. Every dish I tried was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! Nice to see Greek wines on the drinks menu and were a revelation, as they are not well known in the UK. The wonderful Greek hospitality I received combined with the beautifully designed Salty Houses to make the most of the stunning views and the fantastic food all create a feeling of paradise that you won’t want to leave! Thank you Sissy, Alex, George, Athina and the rest of the team for providing the perfect ending to my Greek adventure!

a wonderful place to stay in a amazing place.

everything is made in a way that you fill good and relax. Good location, helpful peoples, nice swimming pool, and great breakfast.

The only point that I could mention is when you are coming with child, for the breakfast, the hot chocolate in not included and need to be pay in extra.

We have spent a week there with my girlfriend and we enjoyed a lot… accommodation was spacious and the restaurant by pool served delicious dinner. We have also enjoyed the breakfast at the pool every morning. The breakfast was delicious but we have missed a bit more diversity during the whole week. The staff is supper friendly… The advises from the owner were very useful to fulfil our time during the stay actively. We are very grateful for them. Overall we recommend the staying there in the bay of Kalo Livadi. Also the location of place which is really on the beachfront and only 5 min walking from Kalo Livadi beach.

Well, there was only one thing which have disturbed us a bit. The bed was too soft for our opinion, but of course it depends on preferences…

Great place with the best host

The views are amazing in our Vila with a beautiful pool to relax and enjoy really nice food. Above all, it’s Sissy, the host that treated us extremely well, she helped us with all our needs during our stay in Mykonos, helping us with restaurant bookings, transfers and local advice

Perfect

If I were to use one single word to describe the whole experience, it would have to be “PERFECT”. But it would still not be enough, so here are a few takes from our stay at this location: Salty Houses is a perfect getaway, where you can relax on one of the private terraces accompanying the apartments and enjoy the stunning sea view. Said apartments are spacious, fully equipped with everything you might need, from furniture down to the appliances. Everything is clean, well thought and organized. Even the configuration of the apartment and the terrace up to the smallest detail seemed very practical and privacy oriented. Everything is functional, the rooms are cool and quiet, and the host (Mrs Sisi) is a wonderful person. The breakfast is diverse, and I recommend the Salty Houses restaurant as well as the pool bar, if you want to enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. The service is exquisite. All in all, this experience was a very pleasant one, we would gladly return sometime in the future.

Don’t Do Mykonos if You’re Staying Somewhere Else. Salty Houses is Where to Stay.

The owner is absolutely without comparison. The personal attention she gave us was amazing. The breakfast is incredible and staff is exceptional.

Literally there was nothing we missed.

Mesmerizing Experience

Everything about the property is 10 on 10… From the moment you arrive till your departure you are never tierd of praising the location, food, staff……. Everything was so perfect.. Special thanks to George who made our time at restaurant really special with different cocktails, variety of food option (as we were vegetarian, they managed to do it perfect)… Also thanks to Sissy who made our complete stay comfortable, also arranger a wonderful transport for us, did help us with the local info.. Amazing views

Amazing views to a small and beautiful beach facing south, not far from the busy and noisy spots near Mykonos town. You can reach the shore walking 5 minutes. The apartments have an amazing porch where you can enjoy the sea view in the shadow. We will repeat for sure next time we visit Mykonos
