Great little hotel

Close to the station. Variety of places to eat very close by. Room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We loved the amenities. The staff were very kind and helpful. I had trouble getting a taxi to the station because it was so close. I needed a taxi because my elderly Mother could not walk the distance. Staff spoke with the taxi company for me.

Perfect stay

The hotel has a great location - there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, all within walking distance. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The room was large and nicely furnished. The beds were unique, the bathroom was clean. The hotel also has a parking lot where we could park the car.

Comfortable, convenient and would definitely stay again!

Very conveniently located. Staff were kind. Facilities were clean and appropriately equipped.

Great!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my girlfriend. Had a minor inconvenience with our room, but the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They resolved our issue immediately. Very good location, a 5-minute walk from the station. Will definitely book again if we go back to Suwon.

we should have stayed close to Seoul. for some reason, the hotel Mgmt doesn’t provide us with enough toilet papers, don’t quite understand why even after we have requested extra each day

Good value comfortable hotel in main location.

The room we were provided was not in good clean condition. Receptionist immediately changed and upgraded us to a better room with washing machine. That was very useful as despite not having a dryer, clothes did dry overnight or there is a launderette just minutes walk away. So many good restaurants nearby. This hotel is very good value for money. Walking distance to the train station too.

Great for Short Stay

Location was great. Some might call it stylish!

The bed was uncomfortably hard and the furniture overall was also not comfortable. The room itself did not have great temperature control and even though we lowered the temp a few times it remained at a level that left us near sweaty our whole stay.

Value for money place and situated in a convenient location. But, could do with some improvements

Convenient location to the main lively area of Suwon. Walkable distance to the train station. Staff could speak some English, enough to make payment and ask basic questions. Size of room was quite good with enough space to open our luggages and walk about. Toilet/shower was good and water stayed constantly warm.

The room, perhaps not being used for awhile due to COVID, had dust on the tables and surfaces. Bed was clean but perhaps they could have cleaned it better before our use. Lights were also a little dim. It was also rather noisy early in the morning from some people along the small road.

Very good located, sharp price and friendly staff.

Nice, cute hotel, good location, and still in a quiet street. Everything is still on walking distance. And still not to far from railway station. Good price / quality.

I had asked for a room, at the end of the corridor (sleeping disorder) and this was not the case, despite I booked he room 3 months in advance. Time enough to reserve the room. But the hotel guests were quiet, so I didn't ask for another room.

Great value, great location, friendly staff.

Large room with rainfall shower. Staff was super friendly and let me leave my bag at reception before check-in & after check-out. Good location - walking distance from the train/bus terminal and well connected to public transit. Would stay here again!

Could be cleaner. Some mold in bathroom and stains on walls. Hallway carpets should be changed.

Very good

The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. They were also very accommodating since I needed to check in earlier than is their policy. The bedding was clean and the bed was soft. The hotel is in a great location, 5-10 minutes walk from Suwon station, and has every store and amenity you could possibly need close by.

Due to the hotel's location, be prepared to have the constant smell of fried chicken about. Suwon's famous chicken street is really close by, so that's why, which is great when you're looking for dinner ideas, but it can get a little obnoxious after awhile.

Great location, but the rooms weren't clean at all

The room was extremely dirty, not sure if it had even been vacuumed before we arrived. The room should have city view, but there was a really small window that only showed the hotel across the street

Cheap stay but compromises cleanliness

The hotel was within 10-15mins walk from suwon station with lots of restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the older MALU hotel. The room was very small, photos were very misleading. There were stains on the walls and bedsheets, dust on the floors. And SO many mosquitoes. My parents and I booked the family room that had a twin and queen bed. We all woke up itchy and within minutes of waking up, we killed at least 5 or 6 mosquitoes. My arms were covered in flat bites which later in progressed into welts and then fluid filled blisters. This leads me to believe they weren’t from mosquitoes but either bed bugs or fleas. STAY AWAY. I had a total of 18 bites in my arms and neck. I am writing this two weeks later and I still have marks on my skin from those bug bites!!! We told the staff as we were checking out and he apologized and took photos of my arms (as if that was going to do anything).
