Great location - but you get what you pay for

I liked the location, close to the beach and very central. The accommodations where as expected and everything, expect one essential thing, worked. I booked a cheaper option and I was not looking for anything fancy. The pool was nice. The balcony had a view over the street, so we could people watch while having our meals.

Everyone renting this property needs to be aware is that the balcony doors do not lock. The work around is that you have to close the outside blinds for both balcony doors every time you leave the property and at night. It became a chore and I think annoyed the neighbors. The issue I had altogether was the communication from the person handling the keys and formalities. We picked up the keys and I was only told " Do not pull the blinds up, sine they are broken" (I figured out those where the blinds in the smaller room). Also, then I was not made aware that towels would be an extra 8 Euro charge. She mentioned she had sent me an email and then checked saying "Oops, I did not sent you that mail". I did get my money refunded after complain to Booking.com. Once we arrived at the property, I realized that the doors did not lock and when the towels where brought, she told me the work-around. After a few hours I realized that the floor had been swept, but not mopped, nothing I would have ever complained about unless there was a bigger issue. Additionally, be aware the rental is absolutely bare- no toilet paper, not even salt and pepper. We received a "welcome bag", which included one trash bag, a sponge and dish rag, and a very small bottle of dish soap. Curiously, it included a dish washer tab, and even though all signage and instructions given to us referred to a dish-washer. There was none, I found this a bit amusing.. I would have expected a few "essential" items in the property. There were a few things that I noted that I normally would have overlooked, but the inconvenience and security issue that arose due to the balcony doors, does not let me rate this property higher.
