It's a family run cottage. I love the ambience of this place, because of the traditional style, but very well maintained. The breakfast is great, 10/10.
Resto in the cottage is open until night.
Will definitely come back here if I have a chance.
The ac need replacement because it's so old. It's automated turned off so i have to repeatedly wake up to turn on the ac at night.

The resort was nicely maintained
I got a room with window with gaps so I can barely feel the aircond

Food was amazing. The staff were excellent. The common areas were the highlight of our stay there. It was a very peaceful, remote location and just what we were after to have a peaceful day.
One of our 2 rooms was leaking a bit during heavy rain, there wasn't enough hot water for that one and the AC couldn't keep that room cool

to be honest there wasn’t much in the area for me to see! had a lovely long walk and interacted with the locals which was lovely

The place is absolutely beautiful. Lush green plants, seating areas, an atmosphere of serenity. Lovely Javanese style furniture. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating especially as I arrived late at night to check in. Delicious home cooked breakfast. They can also provide transport to beaches (for a fee). I wish I could spend more time there. It’s a very special and unique place.

The garden and common areas (terraces) were like a little oasis and everything was chosen with love. We we're really impressed how beautiful it was, we would have liked to spend more time there.
Because we are vegetarians, it is not always easy to find a nice restaurant. The lady spent really much effort to satisfy our special need and it also tasted very good!

Far from places to eat

very ethnic and lots of trees. breakfast exceeded expectations. bike facility is provided, we got to bike along the surrounding paddyfield, which was very nice. lots of things to do: play piano, read books, play traditional games, sit on a rocking chair, play with the owner’s puppy. it was a very relaxing experience. the owner is very nice and helpful.
lighting at the room and balcony is too dark at night. some of the windows make noises when you open.

hidden gems, different experiences

Property is like a lush Javanese village. All the rooms are authentic traditional buildings set in a tranquil “botanical” garden. Truly lush and restful. There were many areas to sit and eat meals, take a coffee or just reflect. The upstairs main dining/living room was full of antique Colonial era Javanese furniture and traditional Javanese cultural items. A quirky, eclectic mix. Our room had it’s own private terrace with traditional old furniture. Room was large with windows opening in the old fashioned way. I loved the feel of it. We sat and ate breakfast each morning in the terrace and felt really peaceful. When we left, the owner gave us a nice plant , a cutting from the many in the garden.
Rooms were not quite clean. Our first room th AC broke down but we were quickly swapped to an even better room. The breakfast was a bit cold.

Luscious garden mixed traditional javanese architecture.
