This was a stunning property in a stunning area of real, non-touristy Italy. The villa was furnished in a traditional rustic style and was comfortable and well equipped. The outside . area was particularly inviting with lots of space to eat and a pool to die for. My 4 grandchildren, aged between 2 and 6, had to be dragged away from it! The countryside
Is beautiful with the backdrop of the Dolomites and Venice was an easy train
ride away from Conegliano station which
has free parking. We visited lots of hillside
villages and did a Prosecco wine tour. I
particularly recommend eating at the Belvedere restaurant in Conegliano Castle where local cheeses and meats are served
alongside other local dishes. The view is
spectacular. Andrea and Francesca could
not be more charming and helpful. We will certainly be back - we thoroughly recommend it. Just one note if warning, bring lots of bug spray, citronella candles and After bite - the
mosquitos are out to get you!
outside dining space and a pool to die for.

We had a great stay with 2 families in Codognè in the Villa Ariella. The house is furnished in a rustic style, nothing was missing. The large pool and garden with lots of shady spots were used particularly intensively. The hosts were very friendly and always had tips for excursions or restaurants.

We enjoyed a great stay at Andrea's home and he looked after us very well. The house has five good sized bedrooms withbthree en-suites and loads of period character. The main living room is upstairs and quite small but this is not a problem in the good weather, when evenings can be enjoyed outside at the lovely patio. The local town is close but quite small and quiet. There are a few cafe /bars and small restaurants close and a good supermarket. Overall a great place for a holiday with friends or family

The House has a Great interiour. We stayed here with 7 people, and everyone couple had their own room and bathroom. The Location is rather secludet but very calm. We had a good stay, enjoyed the big Swimmingpool, to Play, to chill and to swim laps. We would highly reccomend a Stay at Villa Ariella!

We had an amazing stay with family and friends (6 adults, 4 children, 1 dog). The estate provides decent space to sit and eat, having nice BBQs, fun at the pool or playing games in the fenced garden. We really liked the tidiness and the overall good condition. Even for rainy days there’s a nice modern Smart TV.
While Codogne is a small nice city it provides everything you need: Gelateria (Modolo), Pizzeria (Deja Vu), Supermarket (Maxi). You also can easily travel to Venice by train from Conegliano with parking lots right next to the station or visit Lake di Santa Croce nearby where dogs are allowed in certain areas.
Thanks Andrea and Patricia for hosting us.

We were two families with large teenage children who enjoyed a fantastic week in this super cozy and spacious villa. The villa has been carefully maintained and appears to have a perfect balance between on the one hand Italian idyll and charm and on the other hand modern facilities and convenience. Add to this a nice garden with cozy and shady sitting areas, as well as a large pool. Finally, Codogné is a fine starting point for excursions to the Prosecco Hills, the medieval cities of Padua and Treviso, and of course not least Venice.
We can highly recommend a stay in this beautiful villa.

We had a great week in villa Ariella ( 3 families with teenager- kids). The house was impressive, the kids enjoyed the pool very much. Interesting towns, like Padua and Venice are not so far away.
But don't forget the moscitospray :-)

We had a wonderful week at Villa Ariella! Andrea and Francesca were very kind and helped us with planning our trip to Venice. The bedrooms were really beautiful and especially the pool was amazing.
There was enough room for our whole family to sit in the garden.
To sum up it is a great Villa to stay there with your family or friends for holiday.

This was a lovely house, comfortable and spacious, elegant accommodation. The whole house was very rustic with regional touches and very well equipped - though not modern luxury. We enjoyed that. Beautiful outside space with a great pool... bbq and plenty of room for eating outside.
Codogne wasn’t a very exciting town - very limited public transport (bus) so you do need a car. We went in August and the Ferragusta meant that lots of shops were closed for this national holiday.
Andreas (owner) and Francesca helped with any minor issues that occurred and were always contactable.
We were very happy here and would recommend the house and the region!

An Authentic Veneto Experience !
Our family of 7 were delighted with our Ancient Manor House. It had lots of character, is huge with lots of space for everyone and has the most delightful garden and pool with lots of privacy. It has all the home comforts one needs with an interesting edge which is delightful. Patricia the manager is most helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely old house for a true Italian experience in the Prosecco countryside.

Well located for Venice, coast and mountains
This was a super house for our Italian adventure with 2 families (children 7-14). Lots of space to spread out. We sat outside most evenings enjoying the garden and swam in the gorgeous pool frequently. It is well placed to explore the area. We took the train into beautiful Venice for a day trip, explored a town in the mountains, and the beach. Ice cream is amazing - especially from the local gelateria. Thank you.

One of the best villas we have stayed in!
We had a lovely couple of weeks here. The villa perfectly combines old and new - retaining it's charm and character but providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. The gardens are beautiful and provide a choice of places to sit so there is always somewhere to shelter from the sun! Patricia was a wonderful host and we really appreciated her gifts of home grown tomatoes (the tastiest ever) and prosecco. Our boys also enjoyed playing with the many pool toys that appeared during our stay! The villa provided an excellent base for exploring Venice, the Prosecco region and further afield the stunning Dolomites, but we were always pleased to return to the comfort of the villa at the end of the day. Many thanks Patricia

spacious, comfortable, quiet, historic Italian vil
This is our second visit to Villa Vedana and both times have been perfect for a family holiday. Each time we have filled the house with 11 people and the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms gave us all privacy and space. Huge tables indoors and outdoors to enjoy food together and the dishwasher and washing machine essential. The kitchen is quaint but has pots, pans and dishes galore and the rubbish is sorted and saved in outdoor recycle bins. The owners looked after us well and were on hand for any queries. They provided garden and pool toys for the children and local wine for us. The villa was spotlessly clean and cool from the heat of the sun. The pool was refreshing and fun and lots of relaxing sunbeds to read or doze. Supermarkets were a close drive away and one open on a Sunday. Venice and Treviso and the beaches are easy accessible within an hour by car but we found it just as easy to go by train to Venice. There are quiet local walks from the villa. We did not try any restaurants but the information booklet has recommendations.
I would definitely stay in Villa Vedana again and recommend it to all my friends.

A éviter !

The PERFECT Villa for large groups and families
We had an amazing stay in this home last month and can only recommend it further to others looking to stay in the Treviso/Codogne region. It is about an hour north of Venice and a quick train ride puts you in the center of Venice with very little hassle. The house itself is old...if you prefer modern and new, this is not the place for you. We, however, wanted to be in a house that had character and we were thrilled with it. The swimming pool is an absolute life-saver in the warm summer months....it is all one depth...1.5 meters. There is a small fence around it to keep little children safe. Our 4 boys loved having the large back yard for Bocci, football and the like. The multiple sleeping and living rooms made it possible for us to be together when we wanted to and to slip away for privacy when needed. The patio dinner table was huge....great for evening meals with the whole group. The kitchen is basic but we found everything we needed already there in terms of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a good grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as a bakery and lots of other little town amenities. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The house was clean...what more can I say? If we come back to this part of Italy, I would love to stay here again. Thank you Patricia and Sergio!

Ideal home for a big family
We had a very pleasant stay in this house for three weeks. It is a big and comfortable house, especially in summer when you can use the garden. We had breakfast and diner there. There are enough bathrooms and a nice kitchen in the stile of the house with everything you need. There is a restaurant around the corner, but we had most of our meals in the house, barbecue with lambchops from the local butcher.
The owner is always near and does everything to solve problems and make you feel comfortable.
The swimmingpool is big and very clean and just what you need on the hot days during our stay.

Holliday in May 2009
As we are a belgian small group of motorbike fans, we travel to foreign countries looking for nice roads and beautiful countryside. But an important thing is also the house we rent!
In May 2009 we stayed in Patricia's magnificent manor. The house is incrediblely nice to live. Big rooms tastetly decorated, long green garden, swimming pool...
We particulary enjoyed our evenings in the garden, next to the barbecue.
And if any question or problem occurred, don't worry, Patricia lives next door and is always there to help.
