Beautiful spot with amazing staff and service!

What a beautiful property! Well maintained, great location, clean, delicious food and great service. AMAZING staff! Our server each morning at breakfast, Dianica and the lovely hostess were just the sweetest. We had another server at the Bluefin for dinner, Matiline who we adored as well. Our favourite bartender by the ocean terrace was a gem as well, Saskatoon! We can’t wait to go back.

1. I loved that there was a wide variety of things to eat at the various restaurants in the resort. The food was delicious. 2.The view from the balcony of our room and from the Azul restaurant was breathtaking. 3.Live entertainment and other events were planned out each day. 4. The culture, hospitality and warmness of the workers and persons in St. Martin were amazing. Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay fully. We recommend anyone planning to visit St Maarten to stay at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. You will not regret it.

Sadly Jing's Kitchen(restaurant on property) was closed on the last night of being at the resort

The food was delicious

There was no water watering for a day so no showers and no toilet flushing which was unsanitary. Their way of compensating us was 25% off one night which was insulting. We were told it was the whole building which wasn’t true it was only certain rooms. The staff there are not knowledgeable with questions that were asked during my stay. One and done for this hotel for me!

Love the fact they have a 24hr room service and the adult only was a separate building/area/. I was very close to the airport and the staff was very friendly.

The Lounge chairs at our swim up pool was a bit dirty... it has food particles laying on the floor. I called to have it clean and I was told I'd have to wait until the am.

Excellent stay, We had a great time. We felt very welcomed.

We stayed on the adult side of the property. We had a option of several restaurants, all were excellent the food options were great as well as the ambience. We ate at all except for 1 the Pub. All the restaurants on property ask if you have allergies. which is a plus for me. Service was also great.

Our room the air condition went out. However, they tried to fix it, No god results so they changed are room right away, I missed the view from that room. We still had a room to see the airplanes land and take off from the airport.

Decent resort. Wouldn't stay more than 1-2 nights.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. In particular, there is a pool and two restaurants situated out on the edge of the sea cliffs that are picture perfect out of a dream! The food is pretty good, room service surprisingly good. Drinks are so-so, staff is super nice. Wifi was good throughout most of the property.

Make sure you don't get a room that ends in -22 (122, 222, 322 etc) because these are basically the ONLY rooms in the hotel without a view of the sea. Instead you have a view of a giant tree, which is fine but not what you're paying for. The area immediately surrounding the resort (Maho Beach) was not my favorite. I prefer other parts of the island for spending time, particularly Phillipsburg and Orient Bay.

Ok stay but not worth the money.

nice spacious rooms and clean

location - one night the bar near the Morgan Hotel across the bay had music blaring and the bass on high until 2:30 am. It was hard to fall asleep. customer service - really bad service except at ocean point terrace which was consistently good. check in and lunch immediately after was not great - it set the tone for the stay.

It was a great stay besides the sour apples we encountered.

Loved that maho beach was right there in front of us. Also loved that room service had a lot of options to choose from and it was 24/7.

The restaurant food wasn’t great. The buffet also didn’t have that many options to choose from. Also some of the workers seemed as if they hated their job and didn’t want to be there.

I enjoyed my stay in spite of the things I disliked.

I liked the location, and the view was awesome. The food was also good. The staff was friendly especially the breakfast staff at Azul: Ruth, Michaela, Kys, Shanika, Shanghai were great servers. The cleaning staff on the 4th floor were also very cooperative and pleasant.

There were some noisy guests on the first floor where the swim-out rooms were. I also think that the dress code should be enforced especially in the dining rooms. In addition, cover ups should be worn especially when guests are walking from th Maho to Ocean Point.
