Best hotel owner, provided good traveling itinerary around ZJJ and took time to make sure we are safe and sound throughout the trip!
非常非常棒的一次入住体验!老板人很好,也给了非常好的旅游路线和建议。我们的张家界国家森林公园路线就是他给的,真的非常推荐!!老板也在旅游过程中实时关心天气和我们,真的太棒了 🌟

Tim and his team were exceptional in their service!! Tim guided me and my family with everything we needed to know to make our stay in this picturesque town memorable. He went the extra mile and even organised our transport from Yichang to the hotel. The location of the hotel made it convenient to get anything we needed and the rooms were very comfortable. Kudos to Tim and his team! Of the 20 cities we visited in China, this was the very best customer service experience!!
I couldnt find fault with this place and the team that runs it even if I tried to!

Big, well decorated, clean room. But most of all, Ming making our stay really special with the best tea, conversations and help with anything you might ask for.
100% advise to stay here if you are going to explore the Zhangjiajie mountains!

Tim is awesome!!! I never experienced an employee that is so engaged and is providing such a good service. He was really interested in what we were plan to do and tried to support us wherever he could. He provided us with valuable tips and routes and maps and also drove us sometimes to the entrance of the park. Which is pretty close, btw. We had some issues with required tests for entering the park and he was very supportive and kept us calm in all situations. Also, he asked actively for special requirements regarding food & was happy to consider that ( I am veggie). Generally, he created a very relaxed and family like atmosphere.
I can really recommend to stay in that place and any other hotel that Tim manages. (Apparently this is not the only one.)

Good value for money
We had communication problems, I speak pretty good Chinese, so it’s not the language issue.
Our circumstances were pretty special, because while we we’re staying at the hotel a few cases have been found. We took the test but our results were not registered properly, on top of of this our hotel manager numerous times, consistently told us false information creating a lot of unnecessary detours, delays and stress. His attitude wasn’t great and was not apologetic as one of these situations caused us to rush to the hospital hours before our departure to get a test that we didn’t even need! His consistency to be inaccurate put a damper on the trip. Hence forth our disapproval. In accordance too they requested that we stay at the hotel for the full day and do not go out, despite the hospital nurse declaring it was unnecessary to do so. After a point we realized we couldn’t trust the information coming out of his mouth, as it was coming from the air VERY frustrating.

Great hostel! Very helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Gave us a lot of help for the national park. Fantastic location about a 30 minute walk to the entrance of the park.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, up to date infrastructures. Location is convenient enough because it’s a 10 min walk to the busier district and close to the main gate of the national park. Staff is very welcoming and helpful with traveling and ticket booking. Very nice and polite and
It’d be nice to have an elevator but then again the staff will help with your luggage.

Owner and staff (Min) can speak English and were really, really kind and helpful! They gave us instructions for mountain, booked tickets and even took us to the entrance and back free of charge. Furthermore, I got injured during stay and Min took us to nearby hospital and helped us there.
Breakfast was simple, but cooked only for us by the staff and we were asked what we would like to have and at what time.
Besides, room was nice, clean and spacious.
Lobby was nice but was a bit cold (but it seems to be normal Chinese custom in this area).

The hostel is in a good location but they failed to tell us that there is construction going on on both sides of the hotel. We were there for New Year's day and wanted to relax and sleep in but could not due to the noise. The rooms are spacious with clean linen and lovely towels. Hot water showers great. The host was very helpful and accommodating and dropped us off for a massage.
Our bedroom was freezing despite the temperature being set to 30 degrees. The communal living area was cold and dark and unwelcoming. The construction noise around the hotel was ridiculously loud. Very dead for a New Year's eve - no music at the music hostel at all..
