Coast View Apartment is a very comfortable, luxurious and modernly finished sea view apartment, part of a smart block in a very quiet area of Qawra, yet close to all amenities. Bus stop and mini markets are just outside the door. This apartment is fully equipped to offer a comfortable stay away from your home. Coast View Apartment is situated in Qawra which is a central location making it easy to go around Malta and Gozo. Apartment is in a very quiet area, yet just a few meters away from the promenade which is full of bars, restaurants, tourist office, etc. Daily needs and bus stop can be found just outside the building. Swimming is just across the road and along all Qawra rocky Coast in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.
Qawra is a seaside resort located on the North part of Malta, very close to Bugibba, and St. Paul’s Bay. The town was built with the purpose of attracting tourists. One can find several hotels, holiday apartments, restaurants, cafes shops, bars, casinos, and many other tourist facilities. Water sports dominate the shoreline and although there is only a small sandy beach, swimming, sunbathing and diving are still very popular activities.
There is a long promenade that stretches for around 3km all the way to St. Paul’s Bay. This walkway outlines the rocky shoreline, and provides fantastic views of the open sea. It offers a perfect space for leisurely walks and jogs, especially during the evenings, where the sunset colours the sky with spectacular hues.
There were some Neolithic remains found in Qawra, which are now incorporated in the landscaped grounds of the Dolmen hotel.
Qawra is also the site of one of the many towers built by the Knights in 1637. Standing on Qawra point, this small watch tower watches St. Paul’s Bay to the West and Salina Bay to the east. The tower is now used as a restaurant, however additions to the building took away its authenticity.
Day trips to Comino and Hop on Hop off buses around Malta can be easily booked along the promenade. The area is popular for many bars which show live sports especially football.
Closely there are also a number of private Lidos such as Sunny Coast and Cafe del Mar.

Mariella and Laurence are fabulous hosts.
You could not expect the apartment to be better furnished or equipped. We wanted for nothing on our two week stay. Very clean communal area and working lifts. Both of the hosts were available at the end of the phone should they be required but they weren't!

We had a fantastic time in Malta and a big part of that was this incredible apartment.
We had our Workation there - meaning we worked during the week and enjoyed Malta during the weekend.
Waking up to chrystal blue water and sunshine from the balkony every day and working from there was stunning.
The apartment looks well designed and is spacious.
You have every type of kitchen and cleaning equipment you might ask for.
Mariella is a very nice and welcoming host. She gave us alot of insider tips for walking trails, restaurants and places to go to and helped us immediately, whenever we asked for it.
We can definitely recommend this apartment!

The process for renting was very easy. The listing information was very accurate and Lawrence & Mariella are super nice and gracious hosts.
It was very nice to have them pick us up at the airport and take us back for our departure.
If you want to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the big city but yet be a short bus ride away, we would highly recommend staying here when you visit Malta.

Just excellent
The property is excellent for many reasons. A gorgeous apartment exactly as the pictures are with all the comforts of home, a great location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance and the owners were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The local bus is a great way of getting around the island and stops just outside the property and the service is regular so you don't have to wait too long if you miss one. There are three shops on your doorstep for all your needs and Iceland sells more than just frozen food. The Island is just beautiful and there are some picturesque bays and buildings to be seen. Our 10 day holiday was not long enough to enable us to see everything so we will be planning to visit again and will definitely be booking this apartment. Thank you Laurence and Mariella for making our first visit to Malta an easy one

Exceptional customer service from Lawrence and Mariella. From booking accommodation, pickup is up from the airport, even checked on mum until we arrived in Malta and booked a day trip to Sicily for her. Mariella even picked us up at 5am to drop us off at the airport. 5 star service

Fantastic Accommodation
We chose this place because of the great reviews and now we can add to them. The owners of this apartment have made sure their guests want for nothing, it is so well equipped and furnished beautifully - the best we have ever stayed in. Their helpfulness goes above and beyond making the whole experience so easy and enjoyable, we cant recommend them enough. Collecting us from the airport and dropping us back was the icing on the cake and made our stay completely stress free. Lovely clean modern apartment with everything provided for a great holiday.
The apartment is close to supermarkets and excellent restaurants. the main bus station is approx 12 minutes walk away with excellent connections to all the Island's many attractions. It is very close to good rocky swimming areas. Being picked up and returned to the airport by the friendly owners, Laurence and Mariella was very much appreciated.

Fantastic holiday!!!!!!
Just returned from an amazing stay in Malta. Can’t say enough about Laurence and Mariella’s condo. The location was perfect. We used the city bus which we caught at the bus terminal a short walk from the unit. The area has many restaurants and was very safe to walk around. The apartment looks even better in person than the pictures. All the comforts of home made it so nice to return to after a long day of site seeing. There is a grocery store beside the unit which was very handy. Such a nice personal touch having Laurence greet us at the airport as well as take us back at the end of our stay.
If you are planning a trip to Malta look no further. This is the place to stay!!!

Great -"Again"
This is our second stay in as many years. Both visits were really good and the apartment is very well appointed and well placed for exploring all Malta has to offer. Having "Iceland" foodstore next door is really useful for Brits self catering, however if you fancy a good meal out as a change to self catering, try the Tarragon Restaurant nearby in Church Street, St Pauls Bay. Not cheap but really yummy.(book a window seat overlooking the bay)

Amazing place!
This place is perfection. The location, the hosts, the flat!
I was here for 4 days on my own for a quick getaway. The entire flat is top-quality. I particularly enjoyed how quiet this flat was, as on my previous stay in Malta, silence was rare. The blackout blinds and amazingly comfortable pillows helped rid my jet-lag.
Laurence and Mariella are amazing hosts. I was picked up at the airport and driven the short trip to the flat. I was so appreciative of the snacks they had provided for me as I arrived very late.
There are 2 small grocery stores open long hours with everything you will need just steps outside the building, as well as the bus stop. Extremely convenient!
I will not hesitate to book this place on my next return trip to Malta with my family.

Super apartment
It is not often that we have been collected from the airport by the owners of the apartment we rented; especially when our flight landed around midnight. Laurence and Mariella managed to pass on many interesting facts and recommendations as we drove to Qawra.
The apartment is kept spotlessly clean with modern decor and every appliance and utensil you might need in the kitchen. It is not a large apartment but the rooms are more than adequate and the bedrooms are very comfortable.
There is air conditioning in the two bedrooms and living area which we needed as the temperatures were much hotter than Ireland!
There is no pool in the complex but the sea is only a short walk across the road.
The small supermarkets just outside the main entrance were very convenient.
There is so much to do in Malta and this apartment is not far from any of the main historical sites or leisure activities.
If you like good food and service, why not eat at Venus or Duo? For breakfast, try Knickerbocker.

Fabulous apartment, Lawrence and his wife couldn't have been more helpful
We loved the apartment, beautifully appointed and a balcony that got the morning sunshine. Lawrence picked us up and dropped us back to the airport which was a real bonus. However, we weren't so keen on the resort where the apartment was located but if you like English pubs then its ideal. It was a good location to tour round the island with the bus station only a 5/10 minute walk away.

Wonderful Experience
Laurence was the perfect host. He was there to pick us from the airport as well as gave us a mini tour of the island pointing out places we should go. The home looks just like pictures are listed here if not better. Great apartment in a good location with plenty of restaurants/bars to choose from within walking distance. Beyond Expectations!
We expected this apartment to be good, based on other reviews we've read. However, even the best reviews hardly explain how good it really is, and we may also have a hard time to explain. When we were first considering renting Coast View Apartment, we had a few questions for the owners, Lawrence and Mariella. We had all our questions and more, answered within hours or less, and there's a 6 hour time difference. The apartment is clinically clean, bright, well furnished and has all the amenities to call it home. We used the washer, oven, microwave, hob top and television - all top class brand names. The shower is a wonderful rain head and everything in the bathroom is new - as it everything in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens left for us to change the bed. There was also lots of towels and dishtowels etc. The photographs barely do the apartment justice. There is great security to get into the building, but to be honest, we've never felt so safe anywhere in the world, as we did in Malta - Qwara. There are buses that go right by the door, or you're only a few minutes walk to the main bus terminal. You can travel anywhere and everywhere by bus, and this is why we think Qwara is a perfect place to stay, it's a small community, and you feel very welcome. There is a very convenient (small) super market 10 meters from the front entrance and a larger supermarket a 5 minute walk away.
The apartment only comes secondary to the marvellous attention to detail from Lawrence and Mariella. There was a lovely care basket waiting for us in the kitchen, that was very welcome after an overnight flight from Canada to London and a flight to Malta. And there waiting for us at the Airport, were two friendly faces, Lawrence and Mariella. This is beyond good service, this is Platinum service. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely come back and stay here again - but for much longer next time. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Stressless Week
Firstly a host that picks you up and takes you back to the airport enquires in the week to see if all is well and books a superb Restaurant for New Years Eve,Lawrence you are one in a million.The apartment is furnished to a very good standard and is short of nothing with regards to self catering.Spotless is the by word.Walking to St Paul's and surrounding Bays is ideal but for some there is a decent climb to the Bus terminus.If you are on the right bus returning drops you off outside Iceland with a mere 10 metre walk to the apartment.Overall a very pleasant stay.

An Excellent Apartment and 5 star customer service
We returned from Malta yesterday (Nov 2016) after staying in this wonderful apartment. The owners, Laurence and Mariella, provided 5 star customer service! We were picked up at the airport and returned for the flight home which takes away all the stress after the flights.
The apartment was also 5 star. Immaculately clean, it has a contemporary decor with all the equipment you could ask for. Plenty of nice towels for the walk in shower, nice bedding and comfortable beds.
It was wonderful to sit on the balcony with a coffee from the Dolce Gusto coffee machine and look to the sea view. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. Many thanks :-)

We only had a week but with the excellent weather for April, Malta exceeded our expectations after a 6 year gap. We were greeted and escorted by the owner to a very tastefully appointed modern apartment that fitted the description exactly. Having a lift and thus avoiding the stairs was a vital point for us. All the facilities were explained in detail, as also was the location of the local amenities, grocers, chemist, restuarants, transport etc. The equipment and fittings all in excellent condition and well maintained, just as if they were are own. The morning sun on the balcony is just right for breakfast, yet leaves it shaded for ther rest of the day, ideal in the summer sun. Local restaurants are varied in menu with excellent choice and price. We will keep the address in our favorites so we can definitley return again

We rented from March 11 to March 31 . The location was excellent 10 minute walk to the main bus station and a major grocery store . All kinds of pubs and souvenir shops down the road . Amazing promenade which allowed you to walk toSt Pauls bay.
The apartment was spotless and had every thing you needed as well very guite .Laurence and his wife were amazing . He was at the air port waiting for us when we arrived and on departure day took us back to the airport which sure relieves a lot of stress. A wonderful welcome basket was waiting for us when we arrived .
Malta is beautiful with lots to do and see after a long day it was so nice to come back to an apartment .

The apartment is very well located, with some lovely restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was very clean and well presented. The balcony is perfectly sized with a nice view over to the sea. We wanted to make a nostalgic trip back to Malta after our first visit 40 years ago and decided to look for an apartment on HomeAway website and discovered Coast View Apartment. From the photographs and description we thought this apartment fitted our requirements. What we didn't expect was the excellent customer service provided by Lawrence. Prior to arriving he answered our queries immediately and was kind enough to suggest and organise our New Year's Eve celebration. He picked us up at the airport and arranged our car hire. His assistance made our short break go very smoothly. The apartment is exactly as it is portrayed in the photographs. The decor and furnishings are tasteful with plenty of accessories available - pots, pans, crockery, glasses, towels and extra blankets, pillows. The apartment is located in a newly built block whose sundeck is very attractive, Even though we stayed December/January we were able to make use of the balcony, which gave a view of the sea, for breakfast and pre-dinner nibbles and drinks. This is an apartment I would definitely recommend with an owner who cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The Lovage Bistro is a local restaurant which we enjoyed very much because of good food and polite but friendly waiters.
Malta, as you would expect, has changed greatly over the 40 years we have been away but for a New Year/nostalgic trip we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Qwara. However, we now find Malta as a holiday destination, is all a bit too 'English' .

Our first visit to Malta and this apartment was amazing. Everything you see in the photograph is what you get in reality: very clean, modern and well equipped. The apartment is well placed, in walking distance to a number of good restaurants and bars. We also hired a car so we could see more of the island and found the leaflets and brochures that were in the apartment very helpful.in helping us decide where to explore. Laurence and Mariella are superb owners who literally went the extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed our stay by picking us up from the airport and returning us there at the end of our say.
