We stayed here for 6 nights (2 adults 4 children). Lovely quiet location, the lounge and outside seating were lovely and great for wildlife spotting.
All the bedrooms were a good size. The house is split level with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, lounge/kitchen on the 1st and 3 further bedrooms on the 2nd. This layout suited us really well, due to the stairs I wouldn’t recommend for toddlers (our youngest was 5 and more than happy)
We did several day trips into Boston which was only a 20-25 minute drive, crane beach was only 45 minutes away too.
We would stay here again if in the area
Thank you Sam!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient, well laid out, and had every amenity our group of 8 could ask for. We enjoyed the screened in porch, well equipped kitchen, and spacious living area. As a group of 8 we occupied every bedroom and noticed how quiet it was, with no noticeable noise coming from other rooms. Very peaceful, enjoyable stay, and if we travel to this area again we will definitely be looking to stay here again!!!

Thank you Sam for hosting us in your immaculately clean house nestled in the woods, it was a great location for us to make day trips out to various spots around New England and come home to relax in the peaceful neighborhood of Turning Mill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is settled on a large property and surrounded by beautiful trees and natural vegitation. It was quite and peaceful. the screened in porch was the best spot in the house. We enjoyed each morning drinking coffee and soaking in the sounds of teh birds and small creek that flowed next to the proch. The home was like stepping into a time capsule. the beds were comfortable and the home was warm and enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back. The owner was very accomodating and very responsive. Thank you Sam for letting us stay at your lovely home!

We loved the outdoor access with woodland conservation area and trails nearby, all within easy range of the historic, literary and cultural destinations we came to explore!

This property is pretty much at the end of the road of a beautiful area in Lexington/Bedford. Very little traffic concerns. The house was really nice, Mid Century style with plenty of windows to see the greenery beyond. Plenty of bedrooms, lots of open space and a covered porch. Most everything you need in the kitchen. Could use an updated stove and a Kuerig. Convenient to train stations into Boston, I95 to points north and south and the Burlington mall. Several restaurants within 20 miles without having to use I95. We enjoyed our trips to Boston, Portland ME and the beach. And our downtime at the house. The surrounding neighborhoods are so refreshing and calm with forestry. The owner communicated throughout our stay, the house was clean, the property maintained. We would stay here again. Thank you so much for a great relaxing vacation.

This was a wonderful location, not far from busy Boston, where we enjoyed the tranquility each night. Home had everything we needed and it was spaced out perfectly for the 8 of us. Would stay again.

Perfect property for our family get away! Great location in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the city. The home had lots of space for our multi-generational group to have some privacy. The check in process was very easy. The property was very clean. Sam, the host, was fantastic to work with and very responsive when we had questions. We will certainly stay here again!

This is the 2nd Christmas in a row that we have stayed at this wonderful house! Plenty of room for us to gather together, and get some alone time. Well stocked kitchen for cooking and baking. Plentiful linens and towels. So close to so much! Hoping to stay sometime when it is warmer so that we may enjoy the screened in porch.

We had a great week in Lexington! The house was beautiful, scrupulously clean and comfortable, the location was perfect for our investigations in Concord, Cambridge and Lexington, and the porch and quiet forested neighborhood were great for recovery time and walks.

What a great, clean house to share with your family. We had a wedding in Boston and this was a perfect location for day tripping to Maine, New Hampshire and the Boston area. The house has lots of room. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. Sam was a great host and made sure we were all very comfortable. He also had fans available in every room because it was unseasonably hot while we were there.

My family stayed at this beautiful property for over a month and it was a very peaceful experience.
The house is clean and very well kept and the communication with the owner was as easy as could be. We truly loved our stay here and would 100% rent again!

Great location, great property!

Our family of 9 enjoyed our visit to Lexington, for a family wedding in Waltham. We were all together and got to share meals instead of being in 5 separate hotel rooms. Yet, the house is ample enough for everyone to have their space. It is a mid century beautiful house, with some updates but, still an older house.

This property surprised me! I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The rooms are large and the scenic views created a peaceful atmosphere.

There were 6 adults that stayed for 2 nights for a weekend. The house was perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood. We saw deer visit in the back yard and the house was very nice and clean to stay in. If we had any troubles Sam got right back about it and there were detailed instructions on taking care of the house. I would definitely recommend staying here. There was plenty of room for all of us and the screened porch was my favorite place to eat breakfast. The kitchen is a little quirky but still very functional and suited us for what we needed. I would most definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay!

We felt the location was perfect for easily getting to so many places. On top of only being about 35 minutes from downtown Boston, we were able to visit Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine for quick visits. The Lexington and Concord historical sights being so close was also a BIG plus.
The host was super friendly, helpful, quick to reply if needed, and ready to accommodate our needs.
It's a great juice. The mid-century modern architecture and decor were also fun to live in for a short time. We highly recommend it.

The property is perfect. The house is in a beautiful area, the layout if very comfortable, and there are common areas that are great for meals and getting together. We were a family with two grown children and two children less than 12. There was plenty of room, the screened porch was great given the mild weather, and we had a wonderful stay.

I brought my 80 year old parents and grown son on a fall adventure to Boston area. The house was extremely clean and neat, spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The location was perfect for us to travel around and enjoy the sites and season!
