About this cabin rental
Hurricane Helene Update: I've had many people ask regarding the impact of Hurricane Helene. We are very fortunate and did not have any damage or flooding. I believe most of the damage occurred to the east of us, but please keep people in East TN and the Carolina's in your prayers. The roads in the local area are good and most attractions remain open.

Looking for a cabin that is not in a crowded community? This cabin offers a great view and PRIVACY while being very close to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg! We have recently upgraded the deck handrails and fire pit as shown in the last several photos.
Offering everything you could imagine in a mountain getaway, this cabin features 2 king beds, 3 queen beds, and 2 queen over queen bunk beds, with a queen pull-out sofa and full size futon can sleep 22. All beds (with the exception of bunk beds) have pillow-top mattresses! The property also has 4.5 baths. This property was a private residence until this year and has many upgrades including a large kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, a newly renovated master bathroom with a walk-in shower, Jacuzzi tub, and porcelain tile floors, 2 newly renovated bathrooms on the lower level along with 2 huge bedrooms. This property is completely free of carpet to minimize issue with allergies.
We also will get visits from black bear in the area. I recently received a photo (that VRBO will not allow me to upload due to lower resolution) of a small black bear that was waiting on the steps when some guests arrived! The bears will normally scramble off when they see people, but please do not feed or try to pet the bears! There are awesome to look at, but they are wild animals.
We are offering a 10% discount for a 7 day stay that is automatically calculated if you book 7 or more days! We have just added a hot tub that is on the deck just outside of the master bedroom. Additional pictures will also be added as we plan to include a fire pit for your enjoyment.
There is plenty of parking for 4-6 vehicles. The main level of the property has a wrap around deck that covers 50-60 feet of each side and the front of the property. Both sides of the deck are covered allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even if it rains. The front of the deck is uncovered if you would like to just enjoy the sun. Two picnic tables are on the deck to enjoy a meal outside. We also have a propane grill and a charcoal grill for your convenience! The construction is made of authentic hand-hewn logs and rough sawn lumber providing a rustic feel with modern conveniences. The main level of the house only has two steps making entry a breeze! This level offers a wide open kitchen, dining and living room including a pool table! The entire area has vaulted ceilings, a huge stone fireplace with a cast iron insert (intended only for emergency use on loss of power), 50” HDTV and offers a great view. The kitchen has numerous upgrades and is equipped with:
* ninja blender for smoothy lovers
* Keurig and traditional coffee makers for coffee lovers
* toaster
* Kitchen Aid mixer
* Mixing bowls
* Cookie sheets
* Pots and Pans
* Dishes, glasses, wine glasses, and cutlery for 20
* microwave
* dishwasher
The main level of the house also includes a huge master bedroom with a king size bed and a sitting area with a full-size couch that has a pull-out queen bed. The master bath has a tiled walk-in shower and a new Jacuzzi tub.
The lower level of the house also offers parking for several vehicles and requires no stairs to enter from outside! This level has two huge bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 queen beds and also has a table and 4 chairs. The other bedroom has it's own private bath and a set of two queen-over-queen bunk beds allowing 8 people to sleep comfortably in addition to a full size futon that could provide additional sleeping area. The room includes a 50” HDTV and PS3 game system. In between the two lower level bedrooms is a large game / movie room that is equipped with a 65” TV for watching movies. The game room also includes a Foosball table. There is also another full bathroom that has been recently renovated. Just outside, there are another two picnic tables if you would like to spend some quite time outside. We also have an outdoor fire pit that is surrounded by large rocks for seating; however, we leave the choice to buy / bring firewood up to each guest. When using the outdoor fire pit please check local burn bans with the local fire department as they change throughout the season.
From the main level of the property, head up the stairs to an open loft that includes a day-bed that can serve as a couch or a bed and another pull out single bed under the day bed. The loft offers a full view of the open main-level living room and also great views outside! From the loft, there are two bedrooms and another full bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans if you enjoy a breeze while you sleep.
The property is equipped with high-speed (100 MBPS) Wi-Fi! Comcast TV is also provided. There are also numerous free services such as Pluto / Peacock or you can login to HULU or Netflix if you subscribe to those services.
This is a great cabin for multi-generation families. It has ample parking for 6 cars, and is easily accessible with good roads that aren't too steep. You are close to the attractions with a nice mountain view, but you don't have to fight traffic to get there.
Please note, our cleaning crew will set out towels and plates for the number of guests that are registered for the stay up to a total of 22. We also do NOT supply all of the consumables for the stay; we supply the initial toilet paper, trash bags, but you may need to bring or purchase more.
We are located in an uncrowded neighborhood on an acre of wooded land. It has the mountain view with a feeling of privacy and space.

So, this Florida girl struggled with the mountain roads and steep driveway, but that's where a mountain cabin should be! Beautiful views. Nice cabin. Great host. We'll be back.

The cabin was very clean, close to everything we wanted to see. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Hot tub was nice also. We had a visit from a bear which was cool. Note to others there was a need for more kitchen towels. Doug was very fast with communicating with us . Would definitely recommend this home to others.

We had a great time and the home was wonderful!!

The property was as advertised. We already miss coffee on the deck, It was a great view. We were there with our three kids & spouses and 13 grandkids. Most of our day trips were hiking trips to waterfalls and basic hiking trails of which there were many. We didn't do much in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, The house worked out for us very well and Doug was very prompt if we needed anything.

We loved our stay here. We loved that it was tucked up into the trees. We loved the location to all the things that we wanted to do and see. We saw fireflies, a turtle and wild turkeys. The cabin fit our family of 19 very well and the beds were comfy.
My only complaints are that it could have been more clean inside and the kitchen supplies were very limited, so we had to get creative sometimes when cooking. The owner was great when I messaged him about there not being enough silverware and he ordered more right then and there. Other than those couple little things, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We had a wonderful stay. Accommodated 22 family members. All enjoyed their rooms. Close to attractions but far enough away to enjoy our privacy. Also supermarkets are only 8 minutes away. Thank you for your hospitality.

Easily accessible to Pigeon Forge. Lots of room for the 17 people that went. House was nice but could have been a little cleaner. Light above table needs fixed and there wasn't enough flatware for the 17 of us. However, there were plenty of other kitchen essentials. We had a great family time together.

Great cabin, great location. The only thing was what was online in the way of beds wasn’t exactly the same once we got there. Other than that, it was great and we would stay here again!

Plenty of space for multiple couples, parking for at least 5 vehicles with no issues. The driveway is pretty steep.
Close enough to Pigeon Forge, yet in a quite area. A small country store is close by, and 5-10 minutes to many restaurants and attractions.
We’d definitely rent this one again!

This house was everything our family wished for and more! The lot is huge and you have literally no visible neighbors so it feels very private. The common spaces are spacious and there is enough seating options for the entire family. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. The main deck can be accessed by three different doors from the main level, the view is great! Every bedroom is very spacious and offers comfortable beds. The pool table in the main floor is great! The house has a great location, about 10 mins drive from main attractions, shopping and restaurants. I can’t recommend this house enough, if you book it you won’t regret it!

We enjoyed the space, there were plenty of gathering spaces for us. The pool table was used the most, but we also enjoyed the hot tub.
We always got a quick response from the property manager and appreciated his help.

This is our 2nd time staying in this cabin. Great location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Doug is always great to work with and his cabin is amazing.

We loved the cabin and was perfect for the sixteen of us. We have suggestions for kitchen and safety improvements. The kitchen didn’t have any dishcloths or towels. For safety purposes, the bathrooms need safety bars in the shower/tubs, bath mats in tubs/ showers and rugs to step out of showers/tubs. Also, need to spray for pest control.
10.0 / 10.0
The stay in the cabin was great. The door code did not work on the lower level, but that was not a problem. Being able to use the closet in the master bedroom would have helped us, but we got along okay. We may want to use your cabin again in the future. It served us well.

Our family loved this cabin during our trip to Pigeon Forge. We had plenty of space, played pool nearly every night, and enjoyed our evening in the hot tub. Also, our dog loved lounging on the deck watching the wild turkeys in the woods. We would definitely stay here again!

House worked great for what we needed it for. Our daughter’s wedding nearby. We had our family of 8, plus 3 bridesmaids and a few friends that traveled to the wedding. Plenty of space and rooms for everyone. Great location off the main Parkway and ended up being close to the grooms family too. Everything worked great.
10.0 / 10.0
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our wedding week getaway. Doug communicated in a timely manner and was very understanding. I would definitely stay again. Only downfall was my two year old found a used chew can in the couch but other than that the cabin was very clean and well maintained.
8.0 / 10.0
Loved the places worked very well to accommodate my parent's and inlaws, my brother and his family, and my family. We did have a visit from a bear on night one, think he was just checking us out but we never saw him after that. Definitely bring more towels but the listing already said that. We had one issue (hot tub fuses was put in backwards) but the property owner responded within minutes and we got it fixed. Been coming to the area every 2 years for 35 years and this had to be my favorite stay.
10.0 / 10.0
We chose to stay here because it was able to accommodate my husband and I along with all our kids and grandkids. We had more than enough room for everyone to be able to spread out and not annoy each other too much. With the games, hot tub, grill and deck we had plenty of entertainment. We even had a bear visit and lizards running around. While the road is nearby and it’s a short distance to all things Pigeon Forge it is also connected to nature. We couldn’t have asked for more. The owner was quick to respond to all my questions and was extremely helpful. I would definitely book this again.

Beautiful. Doug was a super host. Only slight issue is that the cleaning crew showed up 20 mins early putting a real rush on last minute look around to see if we left anything behind. When we returned home, we did discovery two of the kitchen drawers had not been emptied.
8.0 / 10.0
Upon arrival we noticed there was no bedding for the sofa sleepers and not enough towels left for our group of 22, we made contact w/owner and the cleaning staff was to come and bring them. They arrived without announcing themselves. This was a problem because this group was several teenagers with their adult chaperones. Should never happen in todays world. Check out time on the contract said 11am, cleaning lady arrived at 950am and told them they needed to leave. Packing up for 22 people takes time and based on the contract was planned to be completed at 11am. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, crawling in the stove. No towels or dishrags are provided in the kitchen. Pool Table needs a light above, the large light in the family room doesn't give off enough light to the pool table area off to the side. After departure owner contacted us and was quite rude about the 10am departure even though the contract said 11am, kept saying the email said 10am. Which it does but the legal binding contract says 11am. In looking at previous reviews this was addressed with another renter about a year ago and apparently not updated. Overall the cabin and location is nice. Need an exterminator that can get rid of roaches completely, need to provide at least 1 dish towel and 1 dishrag and if you know there are 22 people staying have the towels, washcloths and bedding for that number of people without having to contact the owner to get it corrected. Also, update the contract.

My family enjoyed our stay in Pigeon Forge. The cabin was big enough for my family. My grandkids enjoyed seeing the turkeys every morning.

We drove from SC and met my niece, her daughter and boyfriend (from WV); had a great time; I was afraid the drive might be a little much but it wasn't at all; not over 5 - 7 minutes to Pigeon Forge/ Sevierville. Got to see a bear greet us within the first 2 hours; came down to see what all the noise was about I suppose; we knew not to leave food anywhere readily accessible, especially in the vehicles; we never saw him (Smokey) again the 6 days we were there. I would definitely go back when and if we visit the Smokies again.

We enjoyed the cabin and all the amenities.

This cabin was very easy to get to, not outside Pigeon Forge. The grocery stores and restaurants were very close…. But, most importantly it’s also super close to Great Smoky National Park!!!
Everyone in the family was comfortable, the beds were great, the home is super spacious and it looks exactly as advertised. Also, the owner was very responsive when I had questions.
We had no issues with the cleanliness of the cabin, everything was clean, well maintained and organized. We truly loved our stay here!

We had family and friends stay comfortably for our week's stay. We celebrated our daughter's graduation from UT, celebrated her engagement to her boyfriend, and had a gender reveal with our older daughter. We were able to cook and grill meals for 15+ with plenty of space to socialize and eat. The ACs worked well (unit upstairs and downstairs). They provided plenty of towels. The firepit area accommodated us to sit around and enjoy the evenings. Our dog really enjoyed chasing the ball down the front hill. It was nice to have a large, private outdoor space. Even parking was made easy with enough space for all of us. We hope to return again in the Fall! If you are looking for some things to do outside, we highly recommend the Red Jasper Beer Garden only a few minutes up the road...the waterfall is so beautiful. And also, Cade's Cove...it's worth the wait in the car if you want to take some memorable pictures!
