About this apartment rental
Book now for 7 nights or more during 2025 and get a 10% nightly rate discount for your stay. Located at The Riggings, Unit e2, Destiny is second floor, has one bedroom with a queen bed and twin
bunks located in the alcove, 1 bath, and completely furnished with all you need for your perfect beach get away! All sheets and towels, beach towels are provided
Forget packing your car and hauling stuff to your unit! Destiny has everything you will need, so pack light! It’s important to us that your vacation be stress free!
The linen closet is filled with extra toiletries in case you have forgotten something. Your pool is steps away. The pool is open May through September. It closes at 10 pm nightly....Destiny’s hammock chair on the balcony will provide the perfect place to watch the dolphins and sip your favorite beverage or enjoy that book you've been wanting to read. Destiny is located within minutes of the Kure Beach fishing pier, the oldest pier on the East Coast. Also, Historic Fort Fisher is located adjacent to the property. The museum is full of history and a must see for the person interested in the battle in which the city Wilmington was lost during the Civil War. The NC Aquarium is one mile from Destiny. Also, you can board the ferry leas then 2 miles from the condo, and ride to Southport and enjoy a meal of your favorite sea food or ice cream, all the while watching the sail boats on the Cape Fear River. (The cost to ride the ferry is $7 per car. ) The movie, SAFE HAVEN, was filmed at Southport, so make sure you watch it before you arrive! There is also a copy of the movie provided at Destiny for your enjoyment!
Kure Beach is a small, quaint and safe place for you and your family. There are many things to see and do and yet feel as though you are on your own private island. Biking and walking trails are steps from the door. There is a charcoal grill and picnic table located in the sand yard adjacent to the pool. Kure Beach is home to the Coquina rocks. When the tide is out, the bright green color of the sea grass on the rocks is a stark contrast to the blue of the ocean.
Great restaurants to suit any taste...all within a few miles of Destiny. The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience should you prefer to dine in. The local fish market has some good stuff! There is an air fryer in the kitchen to make cooking even more fun! Bed linens are supplied and your beds will be made and ready for you after a long travel day! Destiny provides Spectrum Bronze cable package with WiFi. Stop at the grocery store on the way in for groceries, and you're all set!
Your balcony will offer the sights and sounds of 41.1 million square miles of ocean and it’s beauty will take your breath! I promise, you’ll find yourself spending hours in the hammock chair, not wanting to miss a moment!
If you want the best donut ever, claim your place in the line for Britt’s near the arcade at Carolina Beach. Get Squiggled at Squiggly’s ice cream shop! Eat, drink, play, fish, swim, bike, surf, kite surf....build your very own sand castle on the best little beach around!!! Your Destiny is waiting!

There is NO place like Kure! There is NO place like DESTINY! I sincerely hope it's your place to be! And as a friendly reminder, golf carts are not allowed on the Riggings properry, nor do we allow charging of electic vehicles. Golf carts will be towed at owners expense and there will be a fine for charging electric vehicles on Riggings properry. Thanks for respecting the rules of the association.

Comfortable, clean, great view of the ocean. Relaxing night time view of the moonlight and the sound of the ocean was the best. Kids enjoyed the pool and walking right over to the beach/sand. We enjoyed our stay!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was quiet and relaxing. The coquina rocks were so cool to look at. We went crab hunting at night (catch and release) and had a great time. The air fryer was great as Rita mentioned as well as the balcony view.

The cozy condo had everything our small family could ask for. We enjoyed the deck, pool and beach, and ate at several of the local restaurants. Rita was very helpful, and quickly and kindly responded to all of our questions. We would happily stay at Destiny again.

Excellent little condo with a good view of the ocean. Overlooks the pool for added entertainment of watching pool antics. Beach access on both sides of the property well away from crowds. It’s decorated so sweetly with ocean theme and stocked with games, books and beach supplies. The kitchen was well equipped and we saved money cooking most of our meals there. Pool was lovely and you could watch the view from the pool fence while you dried. The hostess was super nice and checked in to make sure we were having fun. It was a wonderful vacation.

Destiny has a gorgeous location in Kure Beach. It is located close to Ft. Fisher and the Aquarium. We loved spending our afternoon down by the beach and our evening on the deck watching the waves crash ashore. I highly recommend this rental, which has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation.

We had the opportunity to get away for two nights and, as they say, salt water is great for the soul. The girls (9 and 12) loved the bunk beds and all the beach toys! Rita is a great host and everything. Was exactly as we expected it. No, actually, it was better than expected. We genuinely needed the getaway! Honestly staying at DESTINY felt like staying at a friend’s house. IF I had a friend with a perfectly, squeaky clean beach condo with EVERYTHING I NEEDED! She had me at towels and sheets but wowed me with a closet full of beach chairs and toys! What’s the coffee situation? Well, there’s a drip coffee maker, a k cup and a french press!! Being right on the beach is a must for me and the short walk was SO CONVENIENT! The rocks are so photogenic, the sun rises were gorgeous! The TV was big and we enjoyed a little NETFLIX after our fun day on the beach. We visited the Aquarium for the first time in years and everyone agreed it’s fun for all ages! It’s such an easy drive to Wilmington for GREAT restaurants. This place is great. I’d love to go back anytime!

Destiny was perfection! Just what we needed! Beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony and relaxed in the hammock! Loved having the sliding glass doors open listening to the ocean and feeling the cool breeze. Rita was an amazing host and has literally thought of everything so you can pack clothes and just go! This was the best birthday present ever! Rita has provided a home away from home for all of us lucky people who are fortunate enough to get to stay at her condo! It has everything you could need. From if you forgot your shampoo to all the other creature comfort. It was an extremely clean and well stocked wonderful place! It is right on the waterfront. You can sit on your deck and enjoy the sounds and views of our ocean. It was such a recharging time for this old lady. I just don’t have enough words to Explain how comfortable her place is!

The condo was great! Rita was very quick on any questions prior to arriving. Love the little touches like the goodie basket. The decor is beautiful. Ocean right outside balcony. Had to walk around to access ocean but the view from the balcony was perfect. Loved the furniture on the deck. Kitchen was stocked and she had a closet full of beach stuff. We had an awesome time here. Living arrangements were very hospitable. Close to everything without being in the middle of town and having hundreds of people on top of you at the beach. We look forward to visiting again.
