Overall it was an easy checkin and checkout. A great location, very close to shops and the beach. Joy was an amazing host with very quick responses. The place was a great size for my friend and I, great lighting and lots of full sized mirrors for doing make-up and checking outfits. Looks exactly as advertised.

We stayed for 4 months and we loved the location and the fact that there was a housekeeper once a fortnight and a beach club was included in the cost.
It is probably more than adequate for people who have short term stays but for long term, personally I felt the kitchen could have been better equipped as I like to cook, but that did not in any way detract from our stay. There was beach equipment and a BBQ which was useful. The most disappointing thing for us was that the bedding had seen better days so not sure who keeps an eye out on that. The housekeeper was very friendly and would do anything for you that you asked. Neighbours were also friendly which made us feel part of the community and we were very sad to leave. All in all Barbados and the Bajan people were truly wonderful.

Cute and functional
This apartment is exactly as advertised. It has everything you need for a great self catering vacation. Location is great....quiet, yet close enough to the main road that everything you need is well within walking distance. I enjoyed the Beach House Club membership as well. Great group of regulars there!
My timing was lousy though, and I really didn't get to properly enjoy this gem of a property. After less than 24 hrs in Barbados, Canadians were called home due to Covid, so I had to leave early. :-(
Owners were spectacular however, and have offered me credit for my unused days once travel is safe again. Class act!
I look forward to enjoying a less stressful stay here next time. Thanks Joy!

Great spot and exactly as shown.
Loved our month long stay. Everything is as shown. We cooked and bbq'd and it was great. Short walk to everything and the Pool House was perfect. Had one small issue and was taken care of immediately. Thanks for everything!

Good Property/Good Position
2nd visit in past 2 years to this nice apartment in very good position. Very close to Beach house ,Beach, Restaurants,Bus & supermarket. Nice touch that beach towels are suppied.
Very good value for area.
Bus stop 5 mins walk away. Worth hiring a car for few days if you want to see more of the country. Bus OK , however not really convenient if you wish to see the whole island

Lovely little place on the West Coast
The place is clean, has air conditioning and a good internet connection, paired with a smart tv you can use your amazon stick. I used the beach club every day. Barbados is pricey for food, about twice uk prices, so keep costs down by cooking at home.

Great apartment, convenient location!
We loved staying here. Close enough to walk to the various restaurants and stores in the area. Bus stop only 5 min away. We enjoyed using the pool at the beach club as well as the beach. Didn’t need to rent a car. Definitely want to return!

Great property & location!
We had a great stay here! The owner responded quickly to confirm availability and answer my questions. The property is exactly as the pictures show. We enjoyed sitting on the patio every day - we even saw 3 monkeys walking around & climbing in the trees right out front. Everything we needed was in the home - even beach towels. There were brochures & a local map inside, wifi worked great. You can walk to everything from the property - the beach, the supermarket (bring your own bags), a few stores & a few restaurants. We were able to snorkel every day at the beach - also some boats pull right up to the beach for snorkel trips if you would rather go out further. There are 2 bars with great happy hour right on the beach that you can easily walk to - zacchios & surf side. The pool was very nice - crowded in the day but always empty at night - we were the only ones taking a late night dip! The bus stop is right on the main street - we took it south, north & to the east side. You can even walk a little further up the beach for more activities such as scuba diving, catamaran trips & other water activities. We did not need to rent a car during our stay but there was car rental place close by & taxi drivers are all over. We had no problems while staying here.

Wonderful apartment!!!
First of all: We have never LIVED in a more wonderful apartment and we rented quite a few in all our holiday-years around the world.
Yes, LIVED. It was not really “we rented” or “we visited”…we really LIVED in that most beautiful apartment like if we would have lived in our real home here in Germany.
Why? Easy.
This Starfish-apartment lets you feel at home. You will miss NOTHING.
It consists of a spacious ground-level balcony which you can count as another room in “free-air”.
We always sat outside at the very nice table twice a day to have our meals.
There are two chillout-chairs which we used to sit on in the evening to relax and read.
Then there is a most wonderfully decorated and furnished living room area with a nice couch, couch-table and a TV+HiFi system.
In the back of the living room-area is the kitchen with a fridge and an oven, a 4-burner-stove and a WASHING MACHINE.
We love to cook and we can say that if you are into cooking, you will find everything you need to your hearts content… pots, pans and all the paraphernalia to arrange a nice feast.
There was a French-press for coffee, toaster…you name it and it was there.
Then a door leads you to the sleeping room with a separate bathroom. Everything, the whole apartment, is spotlessly clean and wonderfully furnished with splendid taste for interior decoration, especially the bedroom.
This bedroom is very spacious and has two nice cupboards and a very comfortable bed.
One cupboard was for your clothes and another one with beach-towels, kitchen-towels, bed-stuff, small towels, tons of them…How wonderful! And with the washing machine next door...PERFECT!
The apartment is extremely cozy and the owners took care of everything to make you feel wonderful. From superglue to extra light bulbs to informative brochures…everything was there…you just HAVE TO BE IN BLISS.
The apartment is located in a beautiful area and kind of “laid back” with a little courtyard, framed with palms.
The area around the apartment is extremely scenic with other nice bungalows which are all meticulously kept and very clean.
You can reach everything from the apartment in minutes: superb beaches, relaxing swimming pool, great supermarket, Holetown-downtown (restaurants, shopping mall,…) and all within walking distance.
Honestly, we had three of our happiest and loveliest holiday-weeks here in this apartment.
Joy and Neil will do everything to make you happy and your stay lovely.

Great apartment in a very convenient location
We enjoyed this quiet apartment in Holetown with access to a shared pool and a short walk to the beach. The apartment is nicely decorated and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. The bus is nearby as well as several places to eat and drink. The nearby grocery store was well stocked. We ate a fair amount of our meals at the apartment and enjoyed the visiting birds as we sat out on the patio. The air conditioning in the bedroom was great. We will be back!
