location, facilities makes for a very relaxing stay.
presume blue container around the back is a temporary measure whilst maintenance is carried out.

Great location, very comfortable, lots of space for the family and two dogs.
Given typical islands weather a dry room for wet clothes would have been helpful. We used the sauna!

position and facilities
all good

It’s rare for a property to exceed our expectations but this was definitely the case with Finsbay - the property was larger, better furnished, and more comfortable than we imagined. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils so we could make the most of local Harris produce. Location was amazing and the owner / manager were helpful and responsive. And the biggest surprise was having a colony of seals right on our doorstep!

fabulous location and accomodation
all was good

The location is amazing, the property is so spacious and beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need. There was helpful information left for us, not just advice on where to eat and shop but also printouts of the weather and tide times. The house is very warm if you're visiting in the autumn and winter, too. I cant recommend this place enough.
The wifi isn't great, but that's not the fault of the accommodation, just the lack of decent broadband connectivity in the location.

Excellent location. Cosy, warm lodges. Great sauna.
Wifi sometimes slow. But that was a minor issue.

Beautiful location, warm and comfortable and the sauna was heavenly.
The dishwasher broke down irreparably on day 3. No one’s fault it the location meant it couldn’t be replaced quickly.

The property was beautiful better than the pictures
So peaceful great spacious

Lodge was very clean and well equipped for our week long stay. Photos certainly give a true picture of the property and its location. Sauna was great and I imagine would be even better during colder weather!
Outside furniture could do with a little attention but I'm being picky as overall there wasn't really anything we didn't like. Don't underestimate the time it takes to navigate the road in and out of Finsbay as it is extremely narrow and winding.
4.7
Lack of drinking glasses, only wine glasses, nothing for kids to drink out of. Would be nice to have glasses for gin or whisky.
4.7
The location is lovely secluded peaceful, lovely walks and scenery, seals playing innthe loch.
The house is stunning, the smell of the wood from the house is naturally beautiful.
Everything you need for a fully relaxing holiday is at the house. House is very spacious and loved that there was 3 bathrooms.
Very clean. Very informative information given before we arrived. Alistair and Debbie are lovely folk.

Fantastic location and modern house made entirely of wood. Sauna is a real bonus. We stayed with our 3 children and they loved the house (and TVs in every room). We went over new year and it was the quietest sylvester we ever had. The night sky is amazing and there were seals in the bay as well. Will probably come back one day.
Nothing really. Well, the oven wasen't properly cleaned but the rest of the house was spotless.

Added bonus of a Sauna which we loved and used every night. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us too. Room sizes were great and the whole lodge was very well maintained and was filled with everything you could need. Hairdryer and complimentary toiletries were an added bonus too. Walking distance to watch seals frolicking in the water too was so beautiful to witness.
Nothing
