Bottom Floor - easy living, clean, comfortable, fully furnished and supplied with everything you need for a relaxing stay... pots, pans, dishware, etc. Boardwalk and Gathering Deck atop the dunes provide spectacular views from pier to pier! RENOVATED 2017 interior... upgraded kitchen, entirely new bathroom with tile shower, pedestal sink, new beds, furniture, etc.! Easy living area, Beach was not crowded, even on weekends. And I'm at boardwalk nice beach view. Decent seafood but mostly fried. We enjoyed ourselves.

I don’t think the location could be any better. You are right on the beach with fabulous outdoor sitting areas. Beach was quiet and not crowded. Genevieve was there to greet us and show us exactly where to park, along with a tour of the property. I would definitely stay again!

We had one night here and absolutely loved the space! Communication with the host was excellent, the home was well-stocked and so wonderfully located. Genevieve was very accommodating and kind, we had a wonderful evening and morning at the beach and we couldn't be more appreciative of her hospitality! We would definitely love to stay here again. :)

Awesome property will definitely be going back to this location love the house and the location in reference to the beach. Walk straight to the beach from the back door. Also loved that the owner actually showed us around the property when we arrived that was a great thing compared to most Vrbo places. Loved staying here and will be booking in the future.

Read the listing carefully. Sometimes, we read these things months in advance and forget the details. The hosts treat the listing as a contract, and they will refer to the listing for any complaints. The location is absolutely amazing! This place could be perfect for you if you're all about the location and won't spend much time at the property. It wasn't the best fit for us, but I don't want to discourage anyone from staying. We felt this was way overpriced for what we got and have stayed at many VRBOs. Regarding the price, we believe liens should be included. We were floored when we arrived and found the dryer was broken. A sign said “Not working” and “Not on listing. I’m sure the host will say we should have read more carefully, but I never thought I should read a listing like a contract. Because we brought our own liens, we brought fewer clothes, knowing there was a washer and dryer. We ran out of clothing and had to buy clothes for our daughter. It shouldn’t be in the picture if an appliance doesn't work. The hosts are on the property, which is unusual for a VRBO. We felt we were being watched at times. There were also cockroach issues. We alerted the hosts, and they offered to spray, but we declined because we had a baby. They stated that since they live near the dunes, that is just a part of beach life. Parking was a nightmare, and it was loud in the listing. We did not feel comfortable but it might be perfect

I titled this ocean breeze because it was a beautiful relief to unwind and truly enjoy family time. The beautiful couple that own this property are out of this world. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Communication, cleanliness, private access to the beach all 5stars!!! Will definitely be renting from this couple again.

We only stayed one night but definitely would stay again for longer. Two couples stayed comfortably in two bedroom downstairs. There was some noise from upstairs, so if lite sleeper, maybe downstairs apartment isn't the best option. Parking is a little hairy but we managed. The beach area was in the backyard. You could not see it from the basement porch but there was seating closer to the beach. I am Midwesterner and don't know beach etiquette well. Given how clean the apartment was before I got there and after, I say that Genevieve does amazing job cleaning. I enjoyed the extras such as the beach tent, boogie boards and the outdoor shower. There is a little store that you can walk too and I loved the boardwalk vibe. If I was to stay again, I would definitely bring my bike. You could walk to the boardwalks but it is a bit of a hike. Would rather ride a bike or take a golf cart to boardwalk.

My only complaint is that we couldnt stay longer. Such a beautiful place and the owners are truly top notch and the most friendly couple on this planet. Very clean and had everything you needed for an amazing stay at the beach. Amazing amenities!!!! Highly recommend and we will be back!!!

We’ve stayed in the central and southern parts of Carolina Beach before, always enjoy it. This was our first place a bit more north and it’s really nice! Reminded me of Wildwood, NJ. Loved the pier, beach was great, place had private access which was excellent. Very cozy, comfy place run lovingly by the host.

Furniture in living room most uncomfortable. Chair especially needs new cushions. Floors needed mopping, when walking on them barefooted left feet dirty and gritty. No ocean view from bottom unit. Too much clutter in living room ( beach toys ) Closets full of clutter no place to hang clothes in them . Would not stay in this unit again. Feel unit price and location misrepresented in ad .

The property was gorgeous! Literally walk out your back door to the boardwalk to the beach. My kids loved the cornhole area and spent a ton of time there. They also enjoyed the provided boogy boards and sand toys! The property was absolutely spotless. The owners were great! Would stay here again and again.

This house was so pretty and convenient and entering on the ground floor was a plus. Beach toys were helpful. We could have uses a clothes dryer, but knew it was not included. Off season perfection. Owner was a big help.

Enjoyed the property. Genevieve is great. Location is awesome. Didn't realize there was a linen fee without more thoroughly reading entire post (as it says linens included). Wish that could be updated. Parking was tight, but managable. We got the bottom unit and had guests above us that sounded like they were coming through the ceiling, but fortunately that promptly stopped at 10pm. Dryer wasn't working and Genevieve came down immediately to take the clothes up to dry so we could leave on time. Overall good stay.

This place is such a great location and so close to the beach. The host was so helpful and friendly and it was great to have her so close. The beds need a topper to make them more comfortable but for a weekend they are fine. The place has so many things for all the beach needs and the kitchen looked fully stocked. Loved that we didn't need to bring beach chairs. We heard the neighbors upstairs but it was pretty muffled so it was more in passing/white noise, not a major distraction (i think others complained about it - not a big deal really). Loved that thr house has multiple sized units to choose from depending on need. Definitely will be considering the others as well in the future.

My two kids (11 & 13) and I had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, thoughtfully appointed, and just as described in the listing. It was very hot when we were there (100° +), and the apartment stayed nice and cool. It’s a little thing, but there were hooks everywhere to hang stuff and I found that so helpful for staying clean/organized while there. Genevieve was very communicative and helpful. We loved having the beach in our backyard. I highly recommend and hope to return one day!
